Any news on the rumour surrounding the Brazilian Ze Vitor who currently plays for Nacional in Portugal? This guy is being discussed by a few sources.
1.) 31 Jan 2026 14:21:45
There’s nothing on Agency at the moment in regard to this player,
WH are rummaging through, the clearance boxes at present
So who knows what they will come up with, anything.can happen
BUT times moving on now with teams playing today and tomorrow, whomever they go for, it needs to be quick
Any incoming players need to be in London by latest 1 pm Monday
Market shuts 7 pm
2.) 31 Jan 2026 16:30:30
Leaving it very late as always.
05 Jan 2026 15:29:04
Any truth in the rumours about Jayden Oosterwolde, the 24 yr old Dutch defender for Fenerbahce? I've seen his name mentioned in a couple of places. He cost the Turkish side £5 million a couple of years ago, but he's had trouble with his ACL in his knee. Looks like a real beast.
1.) 05 Jan 2026 16:56:34
WH went for him last season, but it never came off, leaders on this are .Newcastle
The attraction, again is he can play all across the back, and he would not be expensive
Down side is as you say, no good buying injuries
Would he pass a genuine medical
That’s the issue , I always think back to Zouma, who passed our medical ( he didn’t ) , played well for a while, then his career collapsed
Once bitten twice shy?
2.) 05 Jan 2026 18:02:06
Thanks mate. He looks the real deal — just what we need right now. However, his injury record is worrying.
3.) 05 Jan 2026 21:25:49
Apparently there are quite a few CBs we are looking at, Cresswell being the name that keeps getting pushed personally i think the others we are looking at are better options, Cresswell is good in the air but his ability on the ball is apparently questionable, do we really need another clumsy CB? If he already struggles in possession in ligue 1 how bad will it be in the prem?
4.) 06 Jan 2026 09:04:36
You are right Al, many CBS are being looked at, the one really wanted is Gabriel, from Lecce, he tops the list
Personally don’t see it, bigger clubs, with deeper pockets are on it, and with our current situation, unfortunately just don’t see it

Lots of rumours circulating that Brady is on her dancers before the New Year. If true, Sullivan may be hoping that her departure will satisfy the protests. NO!
1.) 11 Nov 2025 05:50:24
It would be a start but would be typical of Sullivan throwing someone under the bus. In the world of KB everything must be done to show her in a good light. So if she does move on I doubt it would be the sack. Also I just read on another site that she was responsible for organising the take over of Birmingham by Carson Yeung. How on earth can she say she did due diligence there.
2.) 11 Nov 2025 06:21:56
Pick em off one at a time if necessary. Sullivan loves being in the news, normally because of bad decisions, lies and BS. Now let's how he likes being in the news for the right reasons
21 Sep 2025 14:30:11
Joyfull,
Any rumblings of a board meeting? Surely, by now, something must be happening to discuss Potter and/or the fan protest. Nothing will happen without there first being a meeting of our shambles of a board.
1.) 21 Sep 2025 15:11:14
Unbelievable rumour that the board agree Potter has to go, but they don’t want the new manager to have the difficult away games against Everton and Arsenal as his first matches! What sort of circus act is this, if true?
2.) 21 Sep 2025 15:40:09
Omnishambles
3.) 21 Sep 2025 18:20:41
It’s madness. So let’s keep the crap guy as the new man might not win either of these first 2 games. We need the new man to have an easy one Brentford at home! We will be cut adrift by then
4.) 21 Sep 2025 20:45:07
Brentford at "home" is going to be just as tough as Everton. Especially when we lose our next two games and are sitting pretty at the bottom of the league.
06 Sep 2025 21:13:18
Rumours abound concerning Potter being replaced by Frank Lampard. Apparently he's happy at Coventry and it would have to be an extremely attractive package to tempt him to the London Stadium. Will we ever learn, if true? He failed at Chelsea and Everton, but he'll sprinkle some magic dust over his head if he comes to WHU.
1.) 07 Sep 2025 11:26:34
This was reported on Football Insider whicH I personally think is awful headlines to make you click onlh to find it either old rumours usually a year old or justvrinbish
2.) 07 Sep 2025 13:42:01
I heard it from several sources. I certainly hope it’s bollocks.
3.) 09 Sep 2025 03:04:20
Who are your sources?
4.) 09 Sep 2025 10:51:06
Much the same as most with a couple of exceptions who I will keep to myself.

That was a lesson in how to defend. Mavropanos was simply magnificent. Well played lads!
1.) 15 Mar 2026 11:16:34
It really was a team performance.
They have a good bond now.
2.) 15 Mar 2026 15:18:25
Defence was great, but we were really poor on the counter without Summerville. I lost count of the amount of times we lost the ball during transition, and there were hardly any runs in behind. Good point, but we need to do much better going forward.
3.) 15 Mar 2026 15:27:51
Robbo, you could tell from the get-go that he set the team up to simply get the 1 point, with maybe the outside chance of a breakaway goal late in the game.
I like the team spirit now, it's fantastic, but like you, I don't want to watch that each match, as we will only get draws. I would hope we will go back to 4-4-2 next week.
4.) 15 Mar 2026 16:07:33
Actually, Hammer, the tactics were OK against City, but the execution was poor going forward. There needs to be some threat going forward, as it's very difficult to defend for 90 mins. On any other night City would have punished us.
Luckily, we scored from a corner, or else we could have played for about 3 months and not scored from open play.
But, as I said, a decent point against a good side.
5.) 16 Mar 2026 12:28:21
Robbo, your points are well made. The importance of Summerville in the improvement of tactics and team spirit since the arrival of Paco Jemez cannot be underestimated. Also, the arrival of Taty has so far been positive. Apparently, Nuno alone could not get the best out of Summerville, as his resurgence coincided with Paco's arrival at WHU.
I believe it is Paco who is responsible for the change in the club's fortunes, but it is Nuno, as the figurehead, who is being credited. I don't think we will revert to a defensive formation once our attacking threat is fit again, as that is not Paco's style.
6.) 16 Mar 2026 14:45:17
Coupled with the over reliance on a disinterested, over rated player called Paqueta. Apparently, since he and Fulkrug both left, the difference in the dressing room has also been stark...
7.) 16 Mar 2026 15:28:30
I quite liked Paqueta, and he was probably the most talented player in the squad. I have to say, you are spot on, DH2, and you can see the team spirit now compared to then.
Fulkrug was always a dreadful purchase, but I think he was mates with Steidten, so they probably both did quite well out of that. Maybe Steidten means Silkman in German. ?
8.) 18 Mar 2026 14:11:19
I think the change in tactics, allowing more freedom to play a positive style, has more to do with the attitude than the change of one or two players. imo Paqueta wasn't allowed to play his natural game and Fulkrug was just injury prone.
I've been told by a good source that Paco handles the majority of training and sets the most tactical plans for games. This confirms my suspicions. Of course, I don't know how true it is, but it certainly makes sense.
9.) 18 Mar 2026 16:27:43
Paco has most certainly made a difference. Totally agree.
10.) 19 Mar 2026 09:48:50
Can't disagree with that, but I do feel it is a mix of things coming together that will hopefully get us out of the mire and maybe kick on. Getting rid of the board would be a godsend (depending on who buys), but sadly I don't see that yet.
10 Mar 2026 02:36:29
Well, that was a strange game. On balance, I thought we deserved the win, but they looked stronger than us for periods in the second half. Very worrying injury to Summerville. I hope it's not serious and does not keep him out of our Prem games because we need him. Leeds at home in the quarter final. Not a bad draw.
11 Feb 2026 10:22:52
Spuds sack Frank. You know, I wouldn't be surprised if they try and lure Carrick away from Man Utd wiith the offer of a permanent contract. ?
1.) 11 Feb 2026 12:43:17
I’m thinking the timing of De Zerbies leaving Marseille might be more than a coincidence. But you could be right he did play for them
2.) 11 Feb 2026 15:21:22
I think Spurs are right in the poop! They have Arsenal next and with that squad of players and injuries whoever comes in has a big job on their hands. After tonights matches its likely that Spurs and Forest on 29 points will be the ones with the targets on their backs for us to aim at.
I genuinely think we can survive if we can get 16 points from the last 12 games
3.) 11 Feb 2026 17:14:10
What would be really funny is if spurs appoint redknapp as an interim and he fires them right up the table
4.) 11 Feb 2026 21:39:13
Or even funnier if he relegates them ?
07 Feb 2026 15:46:06
We are going to win this as long as Nuno Ish*tmyself Santos doesn't make changes.
1.) 07 Feb 2026 16:21:04
Here we go. Nuno can’t help himself. Wilson off? If we lose this, it’s on Nuno Ish*tmyself Santo’s head.
2.) 07 Feb 2026 16:59:03
Anyone remember last time we kept a clean sheet
3.) 07 Feb 2026 17:50:20
Yeah against Forest away when Nuno was Forest manager
4.) 07 Feb 2026 18:00:14
I can’t see what you’re moaning about tin? I only read the reports and didn’t see the game but heard Wilson was pretty anonymous they had upped their game and had a lot of chances. He brought on Potts and we then started attacking again.
It’s what he should have done last week, brought on Potts but not a defender. I ain’t going to get carried away about a win against Burnley but for once it sounded like decent game management by the manager
5.) 07 Feb 2026 18:49:21
100% right HD, I watched the game and Wilson was knackered. Bringing Potts on was exactly the right move and as you said should have been the one he made last week. At least he learned the lesson.
Was also happy to see the goalkeeper change and the defence looked more assured. It was Burnley though with all respect and Man U will be a totally different proposition.
6.) 07 Feb 2026 21:37:25
Yeah agree DH I wasn’t keen on hermadsen but maybe he is a better option especially when you consider he has only played about 5 games and 2 of those have been our only 2 clean sheets
7.) 07 Feb 2026 22:29:48
I can only say I listened to the game on the radio and both commentators said that taking off Wilson changed the format from an attacking side to a defensive side. This is confirmed by the fact that we didn’t really look like scoring in the second half after the change. I can’t agree that the change was the right move as Burnley looked more threatening.
Potts should have been in the starting XI - not as a Wilson replacement, but instead of Soucek. We could have won this game by 3 or 4, not 0-2. Still, a win is a win, despite the tinkering by Nuno Santo.
8.) 08 Feb 2026 08:07:08
I hope Nuno doesn’t sho*t himself in the foot if we go into the lead against Man Utd. That game will be a real test of him and the players. COYI!
9.) 08 Feb 2026 10:30:45
Since Fernandes and Soucek have played centre midfield we’ve looked so much better. They appear to compliment each other. Long may the partnership continue ??
10.) 08 Feb 2026 11:29:27
I’m not keen on the tinkering but it worked. You were moaning last week that he should have started with Wilson which he did. We were under the cosh he removed one of the two players who weren’t contributing much and we easily saw the game out.
We’ve got a big game Tuesday night why should we risk injuries or have our players run themselves into the ground (especially one who only seems capable of 60 minutes play) when that match is on the horizon.
11.) 08 Feb 2026 14:25:14
I watched the whole game live and we really didn't need 2 up front to occupy the Burnley defence, Wilson was quietly effective and after 60 minutes his race was run. Burnley actually had their only decent spell between 45 - 65 minutes.
Once Nuno replaced Wilson with Potts they couldn’t get hold of the ball in the midfield and we easily saw out the rest of the game. I’m not going to slate Nuno just for the sake of it. He got it wrong against Chelsea but right yesterday.
12.) 08 Feb 2026 14:28:26
And Souchek had a really good game adding extra cover to the defence. He enables Fernandes to get forward and express himself
13.) 08 Feb 2026 19:16:36
Can’t agree with that, but you knew that before you posted, didn’t you Dabber?
14.) 09 Feb 2026 08:40:43
Which bit or all of it?
26 Jan 2026 10:50:09
Brooking, what say you now about Michael Carrick? It's still only two games into his Man Utd tenure, but so far they've beaten Man City and now Arsenal (the Prem favourites) at the Emirates. Not bad for a coach who you good as said wasn't good enough for Middlesbrough!
1.) 28 Jan 2026 06:46:47
I stand by my word. He did not do good enough at Middlebro. Furthermore, it’s only 2 games.? Even you must realise the new manager bounce, and Arsenal should’ve won that game comfortably. Ask me after 8-10 games and you will be able to give a better perspective.
5 people on this site have agreed with you, along with yourself, so you have many followers.
05 Mar 2026 14:07:15
Afternoon, Dabber. I am an Areola fan, but I must say that those two saves Hermansen made last night were simply superb. Maybe he just needed confidence? He certainly looked a safe pair of hands. Well played, lad.
05 Mar 2026 07:20:30
Hermansen played a blinder last night.
26 Feb 2026 12:13:06
It's probably connected to the public release of the club's annual accounts. Allegedly, they are a disaster.
21 Feb 2026 15:40:33
Joyfull, Brady is the Vice-Chairman of the club and has a lot of influence on the board. She has a great deal to say on the business of the club, and she has the ear of the majority shareholder, so I can’t agree with you on her status in WHU.
Don’t forget, it was Brady who pressured Sullivan and the rest of the board to appoint the disaster that was Potter. If she goes, it will mean a major change in the day to day running of the club. Good riddance. It can’t happen fast enough for me.
17 Feb 2026 10:49:05
I think you mean Jota.
18 Mar 2026 14:11:19

"Spurs will be mullered tomorrow with Pauliniha, Romero, Van der Ven out."
? Not quite.
12 Mar 2026 10:58:15
True to past form, he can't finish. For some reason, he can't hit a barn door.
12 Mar 2026 06:05:39
? Brooking, again it's gone over your head. With every game now being vital, missing such a vital player, even for one match,
is important. There's no criticism of the player, and the comment is just an observation. I'm not pulling my hair out.
