To be honest with everyone. After watching last night's game, if we can't beat Burnley, you must ask yourself a question; do we deserve to stay up?
They are obviously a lot better at home than they are away. but nevertheless, if we lose on Saturday, forget the mathematical equations, it's all over.
1.) 03 Feb 2026 11:54:08
Burnley will want a reaction for that result, expect them to come at us all guns blazing, it’s going to be a tough game.
2.) 03 Feb 2026 12:48:15
Every game is tough, WH would.
Expect no different, tell me please, if we can’t bear them., who exactly are we going to beat, it’s clear, we have no squad depth, surely we have no chance.in three of the games left, Against LIverpool, Man Utd Arsenal etc, SO then Are we going to win 7/8 of the remaining 10 games, no way that is EVER going to happen, that’s my reasoning
3.) 03 Feb 2026 13:57:00
Far far too negative! We have a great chance to beat Man Utd, they are still shipping goals, Liverpool are flattering to deceive and Arsenal I agree will be difficult.
4.) 03 Feb 2026 15:16:20
NOT negative mate realistic is the word, so it’s ok to lose to Burnley and beat those teams, ? Just my opinion
5.) 03 Feb 2026 16:12:07
I think we'll beat them all except arsenal
6.) 03 Feb 2026 16:45:49
NOW that's what I call OPTIMISM, from a true supporter
I’m nowhere near as optimistic as you are, I hope your right and I’m wrong
Chelsea are several levels above us, we have to accept that, what bothers me, is the way we fell off after 60 minutes, we have a couple of decent midfielders to bring on plus Wilson that’s it, that is what I see as big part of our problem
7.) 03 Feb 2026 16:58:03
I don’t think we’ll lose to Burnley ….what’s your point?
8.) 03 Feb 2026 17:55:04
I think we just need to stay in touch, Leeds and forest will drop points and become more and more nervous, we are rightly favorites for the last relegation spot and will struggle to stay up i just want the team to go out fighting and if we get a bit of luck with other results we have a chance
9.) 03 Feb 2026 18:27:34
My point is we are 6 points adrift, 7 if you include goal averages we might have to get 43/43 points, is it possible, yes, but c, mon is it likely no, the top teams, are levels above us, with big squads
I sincerely hope I’m wrong, but our inability to defend, is more than concerning, that’s our problem
10.) 03 Feb 2026 20:05:25
In spite of Saturdays result we have hit a bit of form. Our next 5 games are Burnley, Man Utd, Bournemouth, Liverpool and Fulham imo all games in our current form we can get points from. We also have Wolves to play again and a 6 pointer with Leeds.
It might not take 43 points, that’s more than it has been over previous seasons. I think Leeds have had their run and Palace in disarray. Until its mathematically impossible I’m keeping faith
11.) 03 Feb 2026 20:41:40
I’m pleased to read that!
02 Feb 2026 17:20:52
Few facts of interest, NO bid was ever made for either John Egan or Hayden Hackney
Noble DID recommend NNADI to WH as well as MATHIAS DELORGE of Gent
He was ignored on both, why waste money on him chasing around, looking at players, that apparently were never even considered
Noble will say nothing he's on 50 k a week, but he must be thinking, what' is going on here!
The answer is with Sullivan Your wasting your time, you can promote any names all will be ignored
Clubs a complete mess
1.) 02 Feb 2026 17:30:53
Agreed joyful. And we blame nuno?
Only one person to blame gor the entire mess
2.) 02 Feb 2026 17:37:05
Sad really isn't it? Maybe mother nature just needs to do it's thing re Sullivan. It's like torture living under his ownership
3.) 02 Feb 2026 18:09:04
If by some miracle we do get disasi, and we can get him fit, he could be just what we need. Whilst not comfortable passing the ball about, he is a solid defender who commits himself and works hard.
4.) 02 Feb 2026 18:25:24
Mac, you are wrong. The entire blame does not rest on Nuno’s shoulders. I think we all know at whose door the blame lies for how bad the club is run. However, Sullivan did not select Saturday’s team, nor direct the tactics or make the team changes. He selected the dumbo who did.
5.) 02 Feb 2026 18:56:47
Tin. Have u thought we've had 3 decent managers this season who couldn't get a tune out of this lot. Yes, nuno has made some bad decisions, but he has finally got us playing with some conviction.
Let's not be blinded by the defeat at Chelsea, if tobido had scored it would've been game over. Small margins lie between victory and defeat in the Premier league and as we all know, when you got your opponents by the throat, you have to take the chances to kill them off.
To sum up, although he has dropped some clangers, there is finally a ray of hope we could actually get out of this mess.
My problem is that even if ge does, I fear we will be having the same conversation every season until this board has gone.
Burnley is the acid test. Lose that and its over
6.) 02 Feb 2026 19:04:51
Sullivan, Potter and Nuno all equally to blame for this current mess. We have lost 18 points from winning positions this season. Those 18 points would have put us in 7th on 38 points! Sullivan wouldn’t put his hand in his pocket for Cresswell etc and Nuno keeps trying to protect leads with Kilman in the back 4! Both are B*ll*nds obviously as is Potter!
7.) 02 Feb 2026 19:28:22
Sullivan is ultimatl6 to blame but that doesn't mean Nuno shouldn't shoulder his share of the blame aswell terrible team selections, tactics and substitutions throwing away points are totally on him
8.) 02 Feb 2026 19:41:03
Even by our usual disastrous windows this has to be one of the worse. Or at least the end part. The inability to get in a 2 half decent CBs and a creative midfielder is a joke and the fact we seem to have got one CB in on loan who by all accounts the manager doesn’t rate and it seems that the player didn’t want to come here and his ability and fitness is questionable at best.
Obviously I hope our worries about his ability are unfounded and he rediscovers his early form with Monaco which has been said to be decent
9.) 02 Feb 2026 21:51:34
Dabber I’m sorry mate but you are are being far too fair to Sullivan there giving him equal billing for our current predicament. The whole reason we are in this mess ALL leads back to Sullivan and Brady’s door. And the way this club is still run like an unprofessional outfit from the 80s. The chairman that buys the players. That hires poor manager after poor manager and also didn’t get shot of Moyes after the euro win. Where has all the money gone? How much money are people like Brady earning.
He operates in the transfer window like Arthur Daley.
As much as Killman has been terrible he isn’t to blame for everything. And as he has been that bad why does Sullivan not replace him. Nuno has cost us points and Potter was a turgid manager out of his depth and Loppy was totally unsuitable to this club Sullivan thought he knew best with all these appointments. Our club has become a laughing stock due to shoddy little person
10.) 03 Feb 2026 11:41:04
Fair enough Hammer-D mate, you are right Sullivan is the main culprit and is worse than a B*ll*nd, he’s a nasty, narcissistic con man! I had real hope that Nuno could turn things around when he took over but I just don’t have time for somebody who makes the same mistake over and over. Our defenders can't defend under pressure including the goalkeeper and yet Nuno invites that unwanted pressure onto them by trying to protect leads. As for Kilman unless Steidten is a complete amateur there must be a half decent player in there but he’s obviously devoid of any confidence, he even made a signal to heaven when he came on on Saturday which I’ve never seen before.
I’m generally a positive thinker and still believe we can just about escape being relegated but only because the forwards and midfield have hit form. I think that is down to Nuno’s new number 2, an attack minded coach. I want us to stay up because relegation could mean massive problems for us as a club however whatever speeds up the demise of the poison dwarf and his sidekicks also appeals. Sorry for the long winded response and appreciate your comments as always HD
11.) 03 Feb 2026 13:31:19
Hey DH don’t worry about the long winded texts, I’m a specialist. ?
Your points are very valid I’m similar to you in your opinion of Nuno as I didn’t see him as a long term solution but did think he could keep us up. It’s now looking very doubtful and h[e has to take responsibility for that because of his horrendous substitutions.i feel he has done some good stuff and if it is down to him the change to a more attacking style then good on him. I suspect it may be the new coach that has done this. Because this upturn in style has only happened since he has been here.
I think weather we stay up or drop Nuno needs to go and I would take a chance on the Spanish coach to take over. I’m sure he has nothing to do with the substitutions. Killman is zero in confidence he didn’t do anything particularly bad the other night (nor did the rest of the defence) but he understandably looks nervous. But here is where the poisoned dwarf is ultimately to blame for continually having a stupidly small squad and no defence alternative apart from bargain basement options.
12.) 03 Feb 2026 17:01:37
Sorry Dabber meant DH not HD
13.) 03 Feb 2026 17:34:40
You’re right HD about the new coach, Paco Jemez, apparently recognised as an attack minded coach and actually fell out with Nuno over one of his substitution decisions a couple of weeks ago.
As our defence minded head coach is not learning and our owners haven’t helped them by buying any meaningful better alternatives I’d like to see Jemez given a crack at it ……at least it would be fun ?

WAGES INFO 120k a week till seasons end for TRAORE
Castellanos is on £105 k a week
That will keep you warm this.chilly night
1.) 31 Jan 2026 09:37:11
Talk about desperate and overpaying. Both will be off If/When we get relegated.
2.) 31 Jan 2026 10:38:00
Traore ONLY has a five month contract anyway, and then reverts to a free agent, Castellanos, there is no way he hasn’t got a relegation clause in his contract
30 Jan 2026 15:30:45
MILAN have just put a DRY LOAN bid in for DISASI, so might be best to discount, this player, unless something goes wrong there
1.) 30 Jan 2026 20:38:37
Doesn't he want to stay in premier league, so i read somewhere?
2.) 31 Jan 2026 09:30:15
There has been late movement by several clubs 3 from Italy and 2 unknown, for dry loans for Disasi, so until he signs, it’s up in the air, further there would be no chase for Harwood Bellis, or anyone else, defender wise, if Disasi was signing
30 Jan 2026 13:03:25
ZALEWSKI, Just heard that Atalanta have informed WH that at this time they do not wish to part with this player, they will review this, at seasons end, if WH are still interested, not a question of a few more euros
WH need to mo=e on quickly, they probably are, great pity
I would be genuinely suprised if Atalanta do an about turn

No point overprinting someone else's post and fair enough the writer has stated it's not wholly accurate and it iISNT
That is the wage differences, printed by C and H, from the transfer window
So there's quite a few mistakes, but we will leave it at that,
01 Feb 2026 10:28:43
WATERSHED MOMENT
Just before half time yesterday AWB came right through into-the penalty area, he's 15 yards from the goal, there's no obvious pass, (from where I am he's just to my right )
Just smash it low and hard at the goal: I felt 3-0 coming up,
He didn't ball rolled out of play
After that game went against us, That was the turning point
You can blame Nuno all you want, but could anyone, really do better, with this squad?
Look at Chelsea, their is just no comparison
Todibo out, WH are scrambling around for a CB, which should have been NUMBER ONE priority in the window
IF things are NOT-right at the top of the club, how can things go right on the field?
A win yesterday, we are in the race, now?the psychological effect may Finish us, and sometimes, you need some luck to go with it we are certainly not getting that, it was used up last season
After that defeat. It's going to be really hard to pick ourselves up,
1.) 01 Feb 2026 11:01:02
As poorly as our squad has been built, there were 4 subs that would have been a better option than Kilman.
We had chances to make it 3, even at 2-2 Todibo could have scored the winner. Fine margins went against us.
How has Mavro not been awared a free kick with their second goal? Clear forearm elbow to this face? Why do these decisions go against us but not for us? Bored of it, and now we get to watch the ref cam to see up close how sh*t they are. Summerville tackled clean right infront of the ref and he gave a free kick in a dangerous position.
2.) 01 Feb 2026 11:58:53
It will only be hard to pick ourselves up if the players play the “woe is me card”. For 60 minutes we battered one of the richest clubs in the World away at a ground we rarely get even a point from. Yes if Taty had scored or AWP or Fernandes when he shot at the keeper we would have (in all likelihood) been out of sight, but they didn’t and the minute Chelsea show a threat, Nuno referred to type (which I posted last week hoping that he wouldn’t) and went defensive. You are right in the problem primarily lies at the top as if we’d gone all out for a CB it might have been Cresswell being brought but it would still have altered a system that we’ve just started to play really well, mid game, which then threw everything into panicked chaos.
If he’d just swapped Pablo for Potts there would have been minimal change on the pitch and still remained an attacking threat. Nuno got it wrong, again, and needs to earn his money by taking the blame and ensuring the players don’t give up or forget about the very good things they’ve done in the last 270 minutes or so of PL football! COYI!
3.) 01 Feb 2026 13:07:26
Even though we dominated the first half, I think he should have started with Wilson up front and Taty just behind him in the number 10 position. Pablo is obviously not a Premiership player and should not be starting over Wilson. I would have started with Potts over Soucek who is another below par player.
And possibly Scarles over Diouf who cannot defend. Kilman should be nowhere near the bench, let alone the pitch, but now he’ll be starting through necessity. With Nuno and Sullivan in charge, the situation is dire.
4.) 01 Feb 2026 13:33:40
They say you learn by your mistakes. Clearly Nuno doesn't
5.) 01 Feb 2026 14:25:38
I don’t think it’s fair to single out one missed chance. A split second wrong decision when we have all the next day to reflect and analyse . There were a number of other chances missed, but every team in the league have that week in week out it’s called football.
Totally agree that the problem lies at the top and always has. I disagree also with what is any manager meant to do with these players. They showed the first half that we can play and entertain. Chelsea were poor first half but we were still good. The problem came from the change as most have said so the manager should take some stick for that and try and do things different.
As Dabber said he could still play more conservative by bringing on Potts and Magassa and I think that would have worked far better.
I don’t like scapegoating any player or individual but for the rest of the season it could be a disaster because of Todibo which is a real shame because he has been one shining light for most of the season. I bet the FA slap a bigger ban on him like they did for Kudus last year. It will be really difficult to recover from this but if they can show the first half endeavour then there is always a chance.
6.) 01 Feb 2026 15:22:23
I thought we were excellent 1st half yday. I felt exactly the same re that AWB chance but he didn't have the confidence to just lace it into the bottom corner. Taty had another great chance earlier in the 1st half.
Our manager is an issue now. We play well 45 mins but run out of steam and Nuno just decides we try and sit back. Our defence get caught continually by crosses into the box : QPR, Spurs, Sunderland, Chavski.
It's ridiculous really.
31 Jan 2026 18:26:25
IM a bit stunned let's hope we can keep this going, Chelsea are making many changes ??
1.) 31 Jan 2026 18:55:49
Gonna be difficult ?
2.) 31 Jan 2026 19:07:26
Despite the result we are so much better than we have been for a long long time. Chelsea are flying at the minute as they showed against a very decent napoli team. If we continue to play like this i am still hopeful
3.) 31 Jan 2026 19:08:45
Ref been doing his best, bringing Kilman on awful decision.
4.) 31 Jan 2026 19:36:30
Gutted. E
I don’t know how Delap didn’t get booked in the first half as he just kept pushing our players over. The Killman decision was a bad one I thought he should have taken Souchek off and brought on Potts or Magassa. Now Todibo out for 3 matches
5.) 31 Jan 2026 19:38:45
Kilman and Traore have cost us more than 3 points today, all subs made us weaker. Really poor from Nuno, Potts, Magassa or Kanye would have helped congested the middle and forced them wide where AWP and Doug absolutely dominated.
6.) 31 Jan 2026 19:52:24
Nuno decisions s—- as usual, WTF does he take Bowen off, runs his arse off, Nuno get rid????Let WH staff take over??⚒⚒⚒⚒
7.) 31 Jan 2026 20:30:07
I’m gutted but take the positives. 1st half we were absolutely outstanding and if we continue that form we’ll get enough points to stay up. 2nd half we continued that form until they scored.
Nuno then s**t himself and reverted to type of trying to defend a lead when we were proving attacking was the better form of defence. Chelsea are a quality team and the manager not our players bottled it
31 Jan 2026 15:10:26
I see ORTEGA gone to Forest for 500 k! No bid no offers ever recieved from WH !
1.) 31 Jan 2026 16:31:31
Typical although we were linked.
31 Jan 2026 14:36:40
There's been a LOT MORE outs than ins, no bad thing from a distance, moving on some people that just are not going to play
HOWEVER, it's clear, that we are at least TWO short a CB and a midfielder
It's all very well to move players on, but someone gets injured, not looking good
AND it will massively reduce our already slim chances of staying up
1.) 31 Jan 2026 16:35:49
What amazes me is that unlike other teams we didn't have a ready made replacement lined up to bring straight in
Surely instead of dragging on the paqueta saga we should have been focusing on getting a replacement?
03 Feb 2026 20:41:40
I’m pleased to read that!
03 Feb 2026 18:27:34
My point is we are 6 points adrift, 7 if you include goal averages we might have to get 43/43 points, is it possible, yes, but c, mon is it likely no, the top teams, are levels above us, with big squads

03 Feb 2026 18:35:08
I thought I would add a funny line, WH had a call last Monday from Kurt Zouma, who said can he help them out!
He volunteered just for expenses!
He was given a friendly and warm thanks, but no thanks
02 Feb 2026 17:06:21
If we drop, my feeling unfortunately, is that we won’t return to the top league immediately, Sullivan Will take a. massive paper hit, there will be people, who may be interested, in aquiring the club, but at an accurate £500 m level, not an absurd £1.2 billion, there is and has never been anything to substantiate that ludicrous level
Sullivan has gradually slid us down the greasy pole, to a situation, which may not now be retrievable
The fans don’t deserve relegation. But Sullivan does and how!
02 Feb 2026 13:55:44
Wolves are preparing for life in the championship, they are getting people in today and have, sold their most expensive asset, Larsen for top money, and I fancy they will come back up first time round
WH have prepared NOTHING,
and will lose vast majority of thepresent team, for proverbial peanuts, if we drop, and our points gap today is just the same, as it was
Every manager from Moyes onwards has been criticised for an abundance of things, and quite rightly so
BUT when you have a chairman Who sits on his arse for 8 WEEKS in the summer window and does next to nothing, to help his squad, THIS IS THE RESULT
AND if we drop don’t think we are on auto pilot to come back up, you will soon find out that’s not the case at all
02 Feb 2026 10:26:44
NO mate WH. Have made no offers for Cresswell at all
It was at the end of the last window, when Sullivan made two bids 11 m euro for Cresswell 13 m euro for Francolino
Both bids were turned down, but Sullivan was told by Toulouse that 13 m euro would buy Cresswell, and then15 m euro would buy Francolino, so for 4 m euro! WH never bought either!
We started the season first 20 games without proper strikers, which I said so many times, was an act of ignorance, and will get us into trouble, and so it did
Although many look to the maths involved on how many games left
I don’t, The weekends results, elsewhere, went for WH, we should now be just 3 points behind, in with a good chance
Now, I think that MAC is right, if we don’t beat Burnley, next week we are done
Sullivans interest is getting 9 players out, getting the wage bill down, He is hopelessly out of his depth, and I just do not see WH achieving anything, whilst he runs the club, even if by some small chance westay up
01 Feb 2026 10:47:11
Brooking, I don’t disagree with. Some of your comments, but for me it’s simple, Chelsea could change the game bringing on fantastic players, we can’t, therein is your problem
WH cannot compete in this league, with Sullivans Hand on the tiller, that’s become as clear as day
Blame Nuno all you want, and it’s fair critisism, but could Pep or Arteta, do any better with this squad, ? That’s my view
