No coincidence Hermandsen in goal and another clean sheet? Disasi looked solid. Decent performance.
Man utd Tuesday will be a different test
1.) 07 Feb 2026 18:34:15
Come tomorrow Nuno must have a look, at Man Utd on the tape if he hasn’ already
In principle they have 4/5 players plus, that are hitting the ball from distance, and with a good proportion of accuracy
My concern is Hermansen is a small GK, and Areola is a good shot stopper
Needs to be looked into
2.) 07 Feb 2026 21:22:18
Put Areola back in goal for the Utd game.
3.) 10 Feb 2026 02:51:52
Nuno has said some players will be missing. Any ideas?

Reports coming out that we never bid any money for Harwood-Bellis. We did make a proposal, which was a loan agreement with an obligation to buy if West Ham stayed in the Premier League, but no money was ever offered.
So instead of buying a young, match fit defender, that we desperately need, that could have gone straight into the starting 11 and been a feature for years to come, we went for disasi, who isn't fit, will take at least 6 games before he starts and who will probably leave at seasons end? Where is the sense in that business decision?
1.) 07 Feb 2026 10:02:07
THATS NOT TRUE, sorry mate, everybody can believe whatever they want, it matters not to me
WH. Bid was a shade below £13 m plus small amount of addons
That was refused, WH, were told if they come back at £15/16 m plus £2 m of very doable add ons, it would likely be accepted
Providing it was a minimum of £5 m down, plus 2 payments, end of first season, end of second season, to complete purchase
WH decided not to purchase, that where it ended
There may have been an offer to loan with option or obligation PRIOR to the first bid, there’s no record of that but that would have been instantly knocked back anyway
I’ve checked this with an associate of mine, who lives in Christchurch and who follows Bournemouth and Southampton, he has connections, with both clubs
He was the one who first alerted me, about Junior Kroupi, and WH chase for that player, , that’s how it was Mac, your being misled mate
2.) 07 Feb 2026 14:03:14
Cheers for the clarification Joyful. Even at that price, we missed out and it was clearly a sign of our ambition
See Hermandsen starts with Callum wilson up front as opposed to pablo?
Disasi starts over kilman which speaks volumes
3.) 07 Feb 2026 14:33:38
Hermansen, Hmmm? Perhaps Areola carrying a knock, don’t get this one
Pablo gives his all, but he’s not astriker in my view
Disasi a not quite fit player in front of Kilman tells you everything you need-to know
4.) 07 Feb 2026 15:43:02
Harewood bellis is a pretty mediocre player to be honest 18 + million for a squad player is a lot, I personally don't think they were ever going to spend anything was the same as the summer and will be the same next year and the year after until sullivan has gone
02 Feb 2026 10:10:01
Nnadi signed for Marseille for 6m euros.
Disasi coming in unfit, not trained and not played for 6 months.
Still no sign of keeper or midfielder? 9 hours left for one of the most important windows in recent history
1.) 02 Feb 2026 11:27:58
Ngolo kante signed for 5m euros to fenerbahce.
02 Feb 2026 09:40:29
Disasi hasn't played for 6 months and isn't training. We need a CB who can start now and the hit the ground running
Kinski will not be joining full stop
01 Feb 2026 18:32:52
West Ham will not sign Taylor Harwood-Bellis. Negotiations have broken down.
Would we make another run at Dier? What about Egan on deadline day?
Let's not forget we need a Paqueta replacement!
1.) 02 Feb 2026 08:00:32
Eric Dier is injured, with an unknown return date
2.) 02 Feb 2026 08:29:04
Stefan Ortega has joined Nottingham Forest on loan. so our goalkeeping options are one fewer. Got to be honest, I'd rather two centre backs and a central midfielder in today, but in truth I don't see a lot happening at all. Maybe, just maybe, Disasi to join on loan.
We should have been all over the Gomes deal from Marseille, but he is joining Wolves.
3.) 02 Feb 2026 08:53:08
Disasi on loan is all we can expect today i think
4.) 02 Feb 2026 12:29:39
Agreed, a sure sign of our ambition!

Seems that even if we do go down, Nuno is unfazed and ready to rebuild us. He is contracted to 2028.
On that note, when he last managed in the Championship his record was... played 46, won 30, lost 7, drew 9, giving him 99 points which is impressive.
05 May 2026 07:47:29
My mate who's a Man City fan just summed us up..."It's a shame really cause I like West Ham a lot more than Spurs, but, if you don't invest and recruit properly, and constantly look for bargains instead of the players you need, you ask for everything you get. If West Ham get relegated and Nuno leaves, would they hire Thomas Frank or Marco Bielsa???"
1.) 05 May 2026 12:01:56
I'm not sure about Frank, as I have mates who are Spurs fans, and even early on in his reign, when they were not doing too bad, they said he just sets the team up with an objective of not to lose, which is exactly what we had with Potter, Moyes and Nuno.
I would give Paco a try. He definitely raised the team spirit. Could you imagine Sullivan and Bielsa working together. ?
05 May 2026 06:10:59
Couldn't have been a worse set of results if I had asked for it. Even the Everton v City result because now Arsenal will really be up for it if not already
Goals win games. Taty not consistent, Bowen form dropped off a cliff, same as Summerville. Very little from midfield spells one thing.
03 May 2026 19:47:51
Villa are dreadful, wow. If only Brentford were the same.
1.) 03 May 2026 19:59:04
It was likely to happen. Villa have a semi-final in the week, have all but secured 5th, and Spurs were given a load of encouragement from us yesterday.
2.) 03 May 2026 20:14:53
Villa look like they have dropped numerous players, and even though Spurs have this long list of injured players, they still have a decent first 11 and can still have players like Yves Bisouma on the bench.
3.) 03 May 2026 20:17:55
I'm not watching it, but the stats are that Villa have zero shots on or off target. ?
03 May 2026 19:29:09
Not good news from Villa Park. Spurs playing really well and 2-0 up. Villa have yet to have a shot on goal.
1.) 03 May 2026 20:29:41
Final nail in the coffin surely. ?? Not surprised, as said previously, Spurs have a really good squad, but until it is mathematically impossible, it is still not over, although it looks that way. ?????? ⚒⚒⚒
2.) 04 May 2026 03:52:21
Odious Spurs fans now suddenly awoken online... after being quiet for 2 mths.
04 May 2026 09:14:05
I'm afraid I have to agree. Too many times we've had the opportunity to pull away from the bottom, and, through inconsistent form, poor tactics and player selections, we've shot ourselves in the foot.
On the upside, Sullivan might now walk.
26 Apr 2026 14:06:15
All depending on if we stay in the Premier League, apparently. I wonder, if they do takeover, would they invest in a new ground?
10 Feb 2026 15:25:18
Was bound to happen. Just as we start to play decent football, our desperately thin squad gets a few injured and that's all she wrote
Yeah we know who's fault it is, but that's not going to change anytime soon. Just got to get on with it and do the best we can with what we have
07 Feb 2026 14:03:14

06 Feb 2026 14:42:36
Nahhhh its not over with by any stretch of the imagination. Forest win tonight, Leeds form has dropped off, we beat Burnley and Leeds and its all to play for
05 May 2026 20:29:17
One can only hope, joyful. Maybe it's for the better, and might prompt Krezynski (although I doubt it) to either buy out Sullivan or sell up, 'cause I don't think he is too interested.
Firesale coming in the summer.
02 May 2026 18:00:42
We need help, that's for sure. Bad day today, although the performance was ok.
26 Apr 2026 14:14:31
Tell you what, Dabber, I'd love to see him start Traore instead of Pablo, and let him have a free role behind Bowen, Taty and Summeville.
26 Apr 2026 14:12:29
Couldn't agree more with IronGeez and Irons87. Yes, Nuno has made questionable calls, but if it wasn't for him, we would have been dead and buried long ago.
He's got team spirit back in the team, which is something lacking for a long time.
He got rid of the bad apples, and, given the chance in the summer, I think he will take us forward. Yes we shut up shop, but our defending these days fills me with a lot more confidence these days.
26 Apr 2026 14:07:04
I think if we stay up, we will be bought and revamped from the top down.
