No coincidence Hermandsen in goal and another clean sheet? Disasi looked solid. Decent performance.
Man utd Tuesday will be a different test
1.) 07 Feb 2026 18:34:15
Come tomorrow Nuno must have a look, at Man Utd on the tape if he hasn’ already
In principle they have 4/5 players plus, that are hitting the ball from distance, and with a good proportion of accuracy
My concern is Hermansen is a small GK, and Areola is a good shot stopper
Needs to be looked into
2.) 07 Feb 2026 21:22:18
Put Areola back in goal for the Utd game.
3.) 10 Feb 2026 02:51:52
Nuno has said some players will be missing. Any ideas?
07 Feb 2026 08:28:56
Reports coming out that we never bid any money for Harwood-Bellis. We did make a proposal, which was a loan agreement with an obligation to buy if West Ham stayed in the Premier League, but no money was ever offered.
So instead of buying a young, match fit defender, that we desperately need, that could have gone straight into the starting 11 and been a feature for years to come, we went for disasi, who isn't fit, will take at least 6 games before he starts and who will probably leave at seasons end? Where is the sense in that business decision?
1.) 07 Feb 2026 10:02:07
THATS NOT TRUE, sorry mate, everybody can believe whatever they want, it matters not to me
WH. Bid was a shade below £13 m plus small amount of addons
That was refused, WH, were told if they come back at £15/16 m plus £2 m of very doable add ons, it would likely be accepted
Providing it was a minimum of £5 m down, plus 2 payments, end of first season, end of second season, to complete purchase
WH decided not to purchase, that where it ended
There may have been an offer to loan with option or obligation PRIOR to the first bid, there’s no record of that but that would have been instantly knocked back anyway
I’ve checked this with an associate of mine, who lives in Christchurch and who follows Bournemouth and Southampton, he has connections, with both clubs
He was the one who first alerted me, about Junior Kroupi, and WH chase for that player, , that’s how it was Mac, your being misled mate
2.) 07 Feb 2026 14:03:14
Cheers for the clarification Joyful. Even at that price, we missed out and it was clearly a sign of our ambition
See Hermandsen starts with Callum wilson up front as opposed to pablo?
Disasi starts over kilman which speaks volumes
3.) 07 Feb 2026 14:33:38
Hermansen, Hmmm? Perhaps Areola carrying a knock, don’t get this one
Pablo gives his all, but he’s not astriker in my view
Disasi a not quite fit player in front of Kilman tells you everything you need-to know
4.) 07 Feb 2026 15:43:02
Harewood bellis is a pretty mediocre player to be honest 18 + million for a squad player is a lot, I personally don't think they were ever going to spend anything was the same as the summer and will be the same next year and the year after until sullivan has gone
02 Feb 2026 10:10:01
Nnadi signed for Marseille for 6m euros.
Disasi coming in unfit, not trained and not played for 6 months.
Still no sign of keeper or midfielder? 9 hours left for one of the most important windows in recent history
1.) 02 Feb 2026 11:27:58
Ngolo kante signed for 5m euros to fenerbahce.
02 Feb 2026 09:40:29
Disasi hasn't played for 6 months and isn't training. We need a CB who can start now and the hit the ground running
Kinski will not be joining full stop
01 Feb 2026 18:32:52
West Ham will not sign Taylor Harwood-Bellis. Negotiations have broken down.
Would we make another run at Dier? What about Egan on deadline day?
Let's not forget we need a Paqueta replacement!
1.) 02 Feb 2026 08:00:32
Eric Dier is injured, with an unknown return date
2.) 02 Feb 2026 08:29:04
Stefan Ortega has joined Nottingham Forest on loan. so our goalkeeping options are one fewer. Got to be honest, I'd rather two centre backs and a central midfielder in today, but in truth I don't see a lot happening at all. Maybe, just maybe, Disasi to join on loan.
We should have been all over the Gomes deal from Marseille, but he is joining Wolves.
3.) 02 Feb 2026 08:53:08
Disasi on loan is all we can expect today i think
4.) 02 Feb 2026 12:29:39
Agreed, a sure sign of our ambition!

What's most worrying for me is recruitment.
I see today Wolves are chasing Raul Jimenez, so they are already building for a quick return.
We couldn't recruit properly in the Premier League, so we've got no chance in the Championship under these owners.
We need somebody who knows the Championship and how to recruit players.
If, as suspected, Spurs get at least a point tonight, I would hope we get on with rebuilding or selling quickly.
1.) 19 May 2026 14:45:21
With Sully still there, you've got no hope.
17 May 2026 17:54:57
And I know it's early days but again we've not turned up when it matters. Sick of watching this rubbish. 2-0 in 20 mins, and we've not laid a glove on Newcastle. Game over already.
I hope Spurs win on Tuesday to put an end to it all. Had enough.
11 May 2026 09:22:36
So Lincoln it is next season. I just hope Sullivan sells up and we get the manager situation sorted as soon as possible.
1.) 11 May 2026 12:40:46
Yup, looks that way. 14 points from 21 games really did the trick. Potter and Brady did the real damage months ago.
Sullivan's antics, lack of goal power, not being able to defend leads, like at Chelsea, have all contributed to where we are today.
Big Arsenal fans admitting they got away with murder yesterday just adds insult to injury.
With West Ham financial woes, what kind of team are we going to field next season? Parachute payments or not.
The only thing that can be said with clarity is the team will look very different to this one, a lot more games, many, many more midweek games.
We came back after 2003. Maybe we will again. Joyful.
2.) 11 May 2026 15:21:06
I don't think we came straight back in 2003. I think we lost the play off final first year. We came straight back up in 2010 with BFS. If we end up with a manager like that, I think I will start supporting Colchester United or Orient.
We do have a lot of reasonable youth players, hopefully Pots, Magassa and Kante will stay.
I'm not sure if Pablo is good enough for the Championship. I'm not having a dig at him because of the disallowed goal yesterday, as that wasn't his fault, but we were watching him, and when players crossed the ball in his direction, he doesn't look at the ball.
3.) 11 May 2026 16:50:31
It was the following year, 4/5, but on a different note I just bumped into Lenny Brown, the very well known Arsenal big time supporter.
He's a nice, honest guy, and in his opinion, the referee was under extreme pressure and made the wrong call.
It's a goal all day long, he said.
He went on to say the other way round, Arsenal would have had the goal given.
There's honesty, we can't change it. That's a bad way to end a bad season. Joyful.
10 May 2026 17:24:31
Started slow and grew into the game. I still expect the quality of Arsenal will shine through second half.
1.) 10 May 2026 18:31:14
VAR strikes again. What a joke.
2.) 10 May 2026 19:23:24
1 0 the referee.
08 May 2026 20:59:03
Forget the players, in true West Ham fashion we can't even make up our minds what to do about Nuno if we go down. Typical.
1.) 08 May 2026 22:41:56
Things look bleak, but we aren't down yet. There's still a slim chance we can stay up. I wouldn't think rocking the boat now is a good idea, to be honest.
Don't forget we have all summer to listen to Sullivan's itks screaming about how it's everyone's fault apart from Sullivan and how Sullivan wanted to sign Ollie Watkins and the deal was done, but Nuno blocked it as he only wanted Pablo, blah blah blah, you know the drill.
2.) 09 May 2026 10:33:49
Lmao you're right there, RedRobbo. Give him enough rope.
20 May 2026 06:19:01
In true Sullivan fashion, he will go for the cheapest "yes" man that he can get, so Steve Cooper maybe.
19 May 2026 18:57:56
That's a great shout. Would love Bielsa, but would Sullivan? What about Steven Gerrard.
19 May 2026 18:22:09
What about Postecoglou?
Ruben Amorim lol. ?
Scott Parker maybe.
And maybe we can get our own ground and proper training facility with new owners.
19 May 2026 18:18:47
Tough question? Ideally a manager who has some Premier League experience, so if and when we do finally go up, we have a manager who knows what to expect.
A manager with character and who can rebuild a team from the roots. The board have got to get this right, and then back him and let him have control.
How about Thomas Frank? Just a thought.
04 May 2026 09:14:05
I'm afraid I have to agree. Too many times we've had the opportunity to pull away from the bottom, and, through inconsistent form, poor tactics and player selections, we've shot ourselves in the foot.
On the upside, Sullivan might now walk.
20 May 2026 06:21:41
Problem is, that if we should stay up, nothing will change.
18 May 2026 18:05:54
Well, we have a keeper in Hermandsen. Kwp and Scarles as full backs. Kante, Potts and Earthy in midfield, and Marshall up front. All young, hungry and eager. Clearly we will need cbs, wingers and forwards.
We need serious help everywhere, and we need to act fast.
Coupled with this World Cup coming up, and we all know how the board love to drag transfers out. Gonna be long frustrating summer.
18 May 2026 07:37:22
Amazing that everyone else is twisted but you Tin.
You've had a go at everybody on here at one point. God forbid someone should voice an opinion you don't like or agree with, but its called "freedom of speech"
Give it a rest
18 May 2026 07:23:59
Apologies. Hermandsen needs to go as well.
Utter garbage.
Problem with our team is that our big players don't turn up consistently, and the way the manager sets us up doesn't help.
I like Nuno and think he's done OK, but his selections leave me scratching my head.
First thing we have to do is sell and get new owners. Then flog our best assets, clear the debt and start again. Even if it takes a couple of seasons to get things right.
17 May 2026 20:06:28
Agreed, Dabber, time to clear out the entire club from top to bottom.
