Keiber Lamadrid? Odd one this one
1.) 19 Jan 2026 16:21:37
Below radar, but? Shot in the dark, or a player, ? no doubt we will soon find out
2.) 19 Jan 2026 16:40:19
Had a look. Both he and Kebbal look skilful, purposeful and very hard to knock off the ball (which is key in the PL) . Both have good stats for goal involvement.
Full of energy.
At the prices being bandied about:
Lamadrid = very cheap loan and very cheap option to but (no brainer)
Kebbal = £9m has been mentioned (looks an absolute bargain in today’s market) .
I know Nuno is a fan of Traore, but I’d leave well alone if these two are in the running.
I also want to know what’s going on the CDM and CB front.
3.) 19 Jan 2026 16:47:31
Its a sulli special. Loan with an option to buy for 1m.
Worth a punt really not much risk. Ones got to come off eventually?
4.) 19 Jan 2026 16:55:54
And clearly we can see what type of players Nuno wants
5.) 19 Jan 2026 16:56:38
U tube films mean nothing unfortunately, premier league a different situation, to where these players come from, the speed and intensity , sometimes comes as a shock
But not much of a gamble, involved
6.) 20 Jan 2026 00:37:01
I agree that YouTube “highlights” should be taken with a pinch of salt, but they do show plenty of information about a player. First touch, pace, ability to shoot/score, eye for the defence splitting pass etc, etc.
Of course, it’s not under the pressure of PL physicality, but no other league is, day in day out.
09 Jan 2026 18:35:16
Paqueta to spuds? Good
1.) 09 Jan 2026 19:12:51
In what way is that good?
2.) 10 Jan 2026 09:42:21
Selling our only creative midfielder is not good sell8ng to spurs is even worse
3.) 10 Jan 2026 11:00:54
Agreed. A really bad move.
4.) 10 Jan 2026 11:45:39
I think he is a shadow of the player he was. The way he was treated by the FA was disgraceful and since then he doesn't look interested so when I say good, I think its good for all parties.
Rather he went to flamengo but I think we would get better money from Spuds
5.) 10 Jan 2026 13:48:34
Maybe it's b3cause managers insist on playing him as a false 9 or play so defensive without strikers he doesn't have a chance to be creative? Or maybe it's because the rest of the team are so bad opposition double and sometimes treble up on him as there is no other threat?
08 Jan 2026 19:02:56
Having off loaded Johnson to palace and kudus out till at least April, Spuds are very interested in jarred bowen.
What price i wonder?
1.) 08 Jan 2026 21:29:09
They won't sell him to spurs in this window, the summer however he will go
2.) 09 Jan 2026 11:44:32
Despite how much we love him, his transfer market valuation is only about £40 million I believe.
3.) 09 Jan 2026 15:41:47
Transfermarkt have him at £35m, which usually equates to about a third or sometimes even half of the real world price. Depends which League we're in come May I guess. The difference being around £40m in the Championship or £70-80m for a PL, full international.
He is on a very lengthy contract though, so that will help a bit I suppose. Well, until he flings in a transfer request anyway.
4.) 09 Jan 2026 15:56:19
Surely there's another club out there, who pay something similar to the inflated prices Sullivan is always willing to pay? Man Utd for example.
5.) 09 Jan 2026 16:19:07
Has he got some sort of release clause on his contract. We should hold out to get the right money like wolves did to us regarding calamity killman
6.) 09 Jan 2026 16:32:48
My guess is we wouldn’t get more than about £60 million tops for him, no matter what league we’re in.
7.) 09 Jan 2026 16:44:29
NOT A NORMAL MARKET, that’s the problem, if as and when we are relegated
Just refer back to 2003, this will be a rerun save the names being different
It has little to do with WH, as the players with relegation clauses ( most all of them ) , are legally entitled to demand a move and probably
Will want out reasonably quickly, to sort out their own futures
All buyers know this, as WH need to get these people gone, well before first Saturday in August, when championship kicks off!
If Bowen was in fine form, and it was a normal window transfer, I think there would be customers around £70 m mark, why not?
But in a fire sale scenario, £40 m Might have to be acceptable?
8.) 10 Jan 2026 08:07:06
He’ll go for £50-60m. Goal scorers are a premium
28 Dec 2025 21:12:42
Hearing they really like kieran mckenna but would he swap Ipswich for us? Very attack minded manager who gets his players to flood the box. Could be interesting?
1.) 28 Dec 2025 21:20:41
But he did get relegated
2.) 29 Dec 2025 05:59:16
He would definitely emphasise on our younger players and attack minded football. But doubt he would come
3.) 29 Dec 2025 09:00:22
I would think end of the season is more realistic for mckenna not bringing him in now and throwing him into a relegation battle
22 Dec 2025 15:47:00
Im hearing adama traore deal all but signed sealed and delivered
1.) 22 Dec 2025 17:35:09
I just read similar.
He is ridiculously rapid over the first 5 yards, but far too often unproductive.
Still, he’s under 30, I suppose.
He’s out of contract with Fulham at the end of this season, so he should not cost much.
What’s the odds he’s scores a hat-trick against us and his price goes up?
2.) 22 Dec 2025 17:49:01
Would be a complete waste of a squad place. He offers nothing, his output should be so much better than it actually is. All pace with zero footballing brain or technique. He's basically what you'd get if you tried to teach a road runner to play football.
3.) 22 Dec 2025 18:08:01
He “ Should “ be the first arrival BUT, ….it appears, that today, because of our current situation, , wrangling over length of contract, relegation clause etc etc, is going on, so hold your horses at present, it’s no certainty
WH are having these problems, all over the show,
Fulham will not agree in principal (At present, midday today ) , Not to play him against WH, even if he does transfer over, WH have to sort that out as well, WH will be. Back on this asap
4.) 22 Dec 2025 18:10:54
He'd actually have to be able to hit the target first Markro to score, underwhelming to say the least we need upgrades not more bench warmers
5.) 22 Dec 2025 18:15:47
We should have signed him years ago! ⚒⚒⚒
6.) 22 Dec 2025 18:22:03
Robbo we are in a mess, no question, everyone.
coming in now is a virtual gamble, on top of that WH are struggling to get anyone in, that’s what becoming clear
Agents are asking for all sorts of clauses owing to where we are
7.) 22 Dec 2025 18:55:18
His best season came under Nuno, 4 goals and 9 assists.
Last season he got 2 goals and 7 assists in 18 starts and 18 appearances off the bench, not bad for someone with no end product, he would have been second highest in our team for g/a last season behind Bowen.
Sometimes when I've watched him in the past he's been pretty unstoppable carrying the ball with pace. If he's still capable of that that then he will be useful for us, can see Wilson benefitting.
8.) 22 Dec 2025 23:39:06
Only way Wilson benefits AI is that he will have someone new to chat to on the bench as nuno doesn't play him anyway
9.) 23 Dec 2025 00:27:46
Maybe Robbo, but it could have been more so the opposition, paqueta dropping in to provide an extra man in midfield against tough opposition. Who knows.
Im surprised fulham are willing to let him go tbh. They must be confident they won't be in a relgation battle or they think he's finished hopefully not the latter if we do sign him.
I know quite a lot are against it, but how many players are available with prem experience that should hit the ground running, i think we know what we are getting and he offers something different to what we have.
10.) 23 Dec 2025 07:05:20
I think his best days are behind him. Generally a dreadful end product. He was good when we had Pelligrini managing us. But as said by many it could work to some degree. I don’t think many of us wanted Lingard when he came or DKL who is tearing up trees for Leeds
11.) 23 Dec 2025 09:21:27
I’ve always been a big fan of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but I doubt he would have been right for us. He’s the type of player that needs the right service. If you look at his record, he went off the boil under Dyche and Moyes, both defensive coaches. Nuno is similar, so I doubt he would have been knocking them in had he come here.

20 Jan 2026 09:31:19
Paqueta obviously doesn't want to be here anymore so just let the guy go for gods sake.
Whats the point of hanging on to a player that doesn't want to play for us anymore?
Seemingly we've identified ilan kabbal as his replacement, however, I suspect sullivan is now waiting for the paqueta money before getting a replacement, at which time all the other premier league teams will be alerted and have already made moves to sign him up lol ?
1.) 20 Jan 2026 11:03:53
Morning Mac, I’m with you, Paqueta has fallen out of love (if he was ever in it which I doubt) with WH and the premier league and the sooner he leaves the better, another player trying to force a move away from the club whose paid him and kept him in work for 3 years ….Joyful might have more knowledge on this but personally I wouldn’t have thought getting in Kebbal is dependant on receiving the cash for Paqueta, its more likely to be waiting to see if we need him in case Paqueta ends up (reluctantly) staying
2.) 20 Jan 2026 13:03:26
Paqueta wants to go fair enough, i don't think he has/would refuse to play if he stayed. Personally i think its Sulli trying to justify selling him, would it surprise you if he waited right until the end of the window to sell him so there isn't time to spend the money?
3.) 20 Jan 2026 15:04:58
Whilst Paqueta has gone down in my estimation especially as the club stood by him because of his alleged betting issues. But I still feel the work of Sullivan and his propaganda machine trying to get the fans to hate the player like he did with Kudus
4.) 20 Jan 2026 15:07:19
It’s not complicated as far as Paqueta is concerned, the player wants to go back to Brazil
WH. maybe.
could get a I bit more from Premier league, but he doesn’t want to change clubs in England
This has been on the cards for along time, if not now when? Although seriously talented, he’s been off the boil for us for months now, time to go, he will be missed, WH need to move on
17 Jan 2026 20:13:15
Goes to show we don't need paqueta after all.
1.) 18 Jan 2026 08:15:15
But you don’t know what the score might have been had he played! It’s an unknown quantity.
2.) 18 Jan 2026 09:13:22
We have b3aton one team that's in as much disarray as us good result but i'm not going to over celebrate at the moment and I would certainly want to keep paq and actually play him in his most effective position
3.) 18 Jan 2026 09:30:21
Positive and upbeat as always Tin. Amazes me you always find a negative in the good
4.) 18 Jan 2026 10:43:56
Given we haven’t won a league game since November and Paqueta has played in most games since I have no confidence that he would have been a positive influence yesterday. In fact I’d go as far to say if he played I think we’d have lost.
The game was won yesterday because the players on the pitch fought like hell for it a quality sadly lacking (imo) in Mr Paqueta.
5.) 18 Jan 2026 11:22:38
But I’m just speaking the truth, Mac. Sorry if you don’t like it. And I notice you didn’t comment when I posted the week before last that we’d beat QPR and then Spurs, followed by a ‘come on you Irons! ’
6.) 18 Jan 2026 11:25:09
There was a togetherness in the team yesterday, everyone appeared to know their job. When Pacqueta plays, he plays for Pacqueta, therefore, not a team player, although skill wise an outstanding player.
7.) 18 Jan 2026 12:24:04
Having defended Paqueta on numerous occasions maybe I have to come round to agree with some of the others. The most important thing yesterday was the team spirit and togetherness. We will lack his quality but if they can recreate the form from yesterday then there is hope with just good old fight, which should be a prerequisite for every game.
I won’t go completely against Paq-man because one of the last games he was missing from was wolves and that was the opposite to yesterday
8.) 18 Jan 2026 13:55:16
Yes, all good points, but the fact remains nobody will ever know if we would have played better or worse had Paqueta played yesterday. It’s all supposition.
17 Jan 2026 17:21:39
Wow where did that come from. Proper team effort against a struggling spuds side but a win is a win. 8 more needed i reckon
17 Jan 2026 17:07:42
Wow where did that come from. Proper team effort against a struggling spuds side but a win is a win. 8 more needed i reckon
1.) 17 Jan 2026 17:33:03
Great result. I think they need to start paying Wilson a proper wage and get him to stay
17 Jan 2026 09:51:25
Good morning all.
Seems its not only the footballing world that's realised what a calamity we are, but the Daily mail published an article about footballs most dysfunctional club (West Ham), here is the headline "Inside the chaos at 'rudderless ship' West Ham: A silent co-owner and gripes about Karren Brady, transfer market gambles, key roles vacant at 'circus' club, doubts over Jarrod Bowen's leadership and why staff are furious about the Christmas party"
19 Jan 2026 16:55:54
And clearly we can see what type of players Nuno wants
17 Jan 2026 22:10:53
The daily mail article is pretty accurate then
17 Jan 2026 09:44:03
To be honest I don't understand what the long term vision is for this window.
Clearly no urgency to get a CB
13 Jan 2026 18:16:41
Puzzles me how quickly we were in for strikers and yet not much happening in the way of defenders, especially considering mavropanos was stretchered off?
12 Jan 2026 20:17:40
Absolutely and possibly the leader we need at the back
18 Jan 2026 09:30:21
Positive and upbeat as always Tin. Amazes me you always find a negative in the good
17 Jan 2026 13:18:03
Perfect opponents to kick start spuds. 3-0 i reckon.
16 Jan 2026 05:48:44
I think we need to get a move on and sort out CB issue as soon as. With mavropanos out, it forces nuno to play calamity kilman
Say no more
12 Jan 2026 18:07:26
Except we won't and this will get messy. We see it time and time again when players want out
He clearly doesn't want to be here so let him.leave
11 Jan 2026 18:33:10
With a lot of poor displays on view i thought Bowen was very poor. He looks tired and a beaten man with little or no threat coming from the right.
Summerville was the one real bright spark and I think pablo and taty will come good the more games they play
Next week should be fun and it had to be against Spuds who are also struggling
