No coincidence Hermandsen in goal and another clean sheet? Disasi looked solid. Decent performance.
Man utd Tuesday will be a different test
1.) 07 Feb 2026 18:34:15
Come tomorrow Nuno must have a look, at Man Utd on the tape if he hasn’ already
In principle they have 4/5 players plus, that are hitting the ball from distance, and with a good proportion of accuracy
My concern is Hermansen is a small GK, and Areola is a good shot stopper
Needs to be looked into
2.) 07 Feb 2026 21:22:18
Put Areola back in goal for the Utd game.
3.) 10 Feb 2026 02:51:52
Nuno has said some players will be missing. Any ideas?

Reports coming out that we never bid any money for Harwood-Bellis. We did make a proposal, which was a loan agreement with an obligation to buy if West Ham stayed in the Premier League, but no money was ever offered.
So instead of buying a young, match fit defender, that we desperately need, that could have gone straight into the starting 11 and been a feature for years to come, we went for disasi, who isn't fit, will take at least 6 games before he starts and who will probably leave at seasons end? Where is the sense in that business decision?
1.) 07 Feb 2026 10:02:07
THATS NOT TRUE, sorry mate, everybody can believe whatever they want, it matters not to me
WH. Bid was a shade below £13 m plus small amount of addons
That was refused, WH, were told if they come back at £15/16 m plus £2 m of very doable add ons, it would likely be accepted
Providing it was a minimum of £5 m down, plus 2 payments, end of first season, end of second season, to complete purchase
WH decided not to purchase, that where it ended
There may have been an offer to loan with option or obligation PRIOR to the first bid, there’s no record of that but that would have been instantly knocked back anyway
I’ve checked this with an associate of mine, who lives in Christchurch and who follows Bournemouth and Southampton, he has connections, with both clubs
He was the one who first alerted me, about Junior Kroupi, and WH chase for that player, , that’s how it was Mac, your being misled mate
2.) 07 Feb 2026 14:03:14
Cheers for the clarification Joyful. Even at that price, we missed out and it was clearly a sign of our ambition
See Hermandsen starts with Callum wilson up front as opposed to pablo?
Disasi starts over kilman which speaks volumes
3.) 07 Feb 2026 14:33:38
Hermansen, Hmmm? Perhaps Areola carrying a knock, don’t get this one
Pablo gives his all, but he’s not astriker in my view
Disasi a not quite fit player in front of Kilman tells you everything you need-to know
4.) 07 Feb 2026 15:43:02
Harewood bellis is a pretty mediocre player to be honest 18 + million for a squad player is a lot, I personally don't think they were ever going to spend anything was the same as the summer and will be the same next year and the year after until sullivan has gone
02 Feb 2026 10:10:01
Nnadi signed for Marseille for 6m euros.
Disasi coming in unfit, not trained and not played for 6 months.
Still no sign of keeper or midfielder? 9 hours left for one of the most important windows in recent history
1.) 02 Feb 2026 11:27:58
Ngolo kante signed for 5m euros to fenerbahce.
02 Feb 2026 09:40:29
Disasi hasn't played for 6 months and isn't training. We need a CB who can start now and the hit the ground running
Kinski will not be joining full stop
01 Feb 2026 18:32:52
West Ham will not sign Taylor Harwood-Bellis. Negotiations have broken down.
Would we make another run at Dier? What about Egan on deadline day?
Let's not forget we need a Paqueta replacement!
1.) 02 Feb 2026 08:00:32
Eric Dier is injured, with an unknown return date
2.) 02 Feb 2026 08:29:04
Stefan Ortega has joined Nottingham Forest on loan. so our goalkeeping options are one fewer. Got to be honest, I'd rather two centre backs and a central midfielder in today, but in truth I don't see a lot happening at all. Maybe, just maybe, Disasi to join on loan.
We should have been all over the Gomes deal from Marseille, but he is joining Wolves.
3.) 02 Feb 2026 08:53:08
Disasi on loan is all we can expect today i think
4.) 02 Feb 2026 12:29:39
Agreed, a sure sign of our ambition!

28 Feb 2026 16:04:23
3-0 down but we've played ok. Set pieces undone us
21 Feb 2026 15:00:28
Anyone brave enough to forecast today's result?
Personally i'm happy with 1-0
1.) 21 Feb 2026 15:28:01
Well I did say I thought we would win but listening to the scores so far today mine are way out so maybe not a good day for predictions for me,
2.) 21 Feb 2026 15:43:26
Let’s just hope we win and stop trying to predict scores which prove nothing. Come on you Irons!
16 Feb 2026 18:45:01
All eyes on Macclesfield tonight. If they win they are coming to the London Stadium lol ? ? Wrexham v Chelsea is a cracker
1.) 16 Feb 2026 19:27:09
Newcastle v Man City… one of the big clubs is going out!
14 Feb 2026 13:53:20
I know this is a second 11 but this is dreadful
1.) 14 Feb 2026 14:18:18
Just listening on the radio is bad enough. Probably a fair reflection of our squad depth once we get past best 11 we are struggling for a team
2.) 14 Feb 2026 14:19:12
Dreadful is being polite.
3.) 14 Feb 2026 14:19:31
Not one clear chance created in 90 minutes,
What this underlines is our squad is very poor
Outside of the first say15 players zero quality
All these people have had a chance to impress
Let’s hope we don’t get injuries
4.) 14 Feb 2026 15:46:02
To be honest i'm just happy we are through, a morale damaging defeat would not be good at this stage
12 Feb 2026 15:48:13
I know all our games now are big, but the Bournemouth game is massive. Forest have liverpool away and spurs entertain arsenal so a real chance for us to close the points gap
1.) 12 Feb 2026 16:45:04
Mac3, if we win and win well against Bournemouth and Forest get beat by Liverpool we could be out of the bottom 3 on goal difference as there’s only 4 goals in it ?
2.) 12 Feb 2026 17:28:50
Let’s be honest every game, for us from here on in, is a cup final, no point in saying otherwise, there are NO FREE HITS, no matter who we play
Bournemouth are in top form, it will be very difficult, but that’s where we are, WH have to concentrate on ourselves, and forget everything else
If we do that, we will have a chance
3.) 12 Feb 2026 17:40:55
Sadly Looks like Pablo is out for a while
4.) 12 Feb 2026 19:12:14
Totally agree regarding only concentrating on ourselves
5.) 14 Feb 2026 12:40:46
A 1-0 win v Bournemouth will be good enough.
10 Feb 2026 15:25:18
Was bound to happen. Just as we start to play decent football, our desperately thin squad gets a few injured and that's all she wrote
Yeah we know who's fault it is, but that's not going to change anytime soon. Just got to get on with it and do the best we can with what we have
07 Feb 2026 14:03:14
Cheers for the clarification Joyful. Even at that price, we missed out and it was clearly a sign of our ambition

Disasi starts over kilman which speaks volumes
06 Feb 2026 14:42:36
Nahhhh its not over with by any stretch of the imagination. Forest win tonight, Leeds form has dropped off, we beat Burnley and Leeds and its all to play for
06 Feb 2026 11:01:16
Its the west ham way. Make a list of 10 players in each position and keep bidding low, then when list runs out turn to free agents or cheap options at the last minute
04 Feb 2026 18:23:10
Agreed Chelmsford, i'm hoping he learns by his mistakes. If nothing else, we also need to recoup the goal difference and if we are sitting back it won't happen
Having said that, if our defenders could actually defend, he may play more attacking football. One can only hope
07 Mar 2026 08:38:51
That's a good shout. I'll bet Kudus is glad he went to Spuds now.
06 Mar 2026 12:57:30
Well, well, well! Who would have thought that Spurs are now favourites to go down with Wolves and Burnley. They next have 2 games with Atletico Madrid, where they could easily get a good hiding, with Liverpool away in between, and then a huge game v Forest.
Meanwhile, little old West Ham, under the guidance of Nuno (who I think has done an amazing job to get us in this position), quietly plod along, picking up points.
Yes, there have been questions over his decision making, but look what he's done with the same players Potter and Lop failed with.
I reckon 4 more wins and we are gonna be safe. I just can't see where Spurs can get anything the way they are playing.
04 Mar 2026 20:31:16
Gonna be another one of those nights where poor ref decisions decide a game, me thinks.
04 Mar 2026 20:30:15
Let's just say I've seen them given for less obvious.
03 Mar 2026 20:06:33
Brooking, I go to a lot of the games as well, and although we lost, we had a good go at them.
For how many years have we gone to these grounds and been negative, and sat back, only to get thrashed.
The boys kept trying to the end, which was good to see.
I fear, however, (although Spurs are a lot worse than us currently), that the damage has already been done with Lop and Potter.
Seemingly, if Brady resigns, Sullivan is going to sell his shares and follow her!! We can only hope.
