In 6 attempts Nuno has got to Semi final twice and 5th round twice. Not a bad record. He obviously takes its serious.
08 Dec 2025 18:43:36
I tell you we may have a decent cup run as long as we don't keep drawing arsenal or city away
08 Dec 2025 18:56:59
QPR at home. Good draw
09 Dec 2025 19:19:11
Barnet at home 3rd round, Chesterfield at home 4th round, Plymouth away leading to Walsall in the final rofl 𤣠š š
08 Dec 2025 14:22:03
Last 6 games: 3 draws, 2 wins, 1 loss. We all have to agree that Nuno is doing very well.
08 Dec 2025 15:42:04
Given enough ammunition? Nuno will get us out of trouble, he knows what heās doing, not faultless, but who is?
Heās getting a song out of a very mediocre squad, in. very difficult circumstances
Two good draws, at difficult venues
Heās the right man, but needs backing now
08 Dec 2025 15:46:03
I have to agree with you Brooking. But I think it isnāt just the stats. Potentially the next 2 games look like losses so they may suffer. I know some donāt like his sitting deep style but he didnāt get the luxury that Loppy and Potter had of a pre season. There are numerous things to be positive about in comparison to our previous 3 managers and I wouldnāt rule out completely the possibility he will adopt a more forward thinking style if players and situation allows
08 Dec 2025 17:59:53
Think we could get a draw out of Villa.
08 Dec 2025 21:19:41
Look at it as a whole we were unlucky against Everton, the line ups against brentford and leeds were shocking could come back to bite us, but since then results have been decent and of course robbed at brighton.
Im feeling 3 points against Villa,
Everyones beating everyone if we keep steadily grinding out results we should be more than ok.
Maybe even FA cup run if we make some good signings in Jan.
09 Dec 2025 19:21:14
Couldn't agree more. He has the same squad Potter and LOP had and everything looks brighter. Imagine where we would be if Potter had still been in charge

Just watch Sweden.

TIAGO GABRIEL, AXEL DISASI, PILIPE RELVAS
Three of the. many CBS in view, with Kilman looking a probable for Palace
Gabriel, Lecce are reluctant sellers, they want to avoid relegation trouble, but money talks
Disasi, wants a permanent move out of Chelsea, big lump, can play at Rb too
Relvas, playing at AEK, another Portuguese Cb fancied by Nuno

After the Liverpool game, someone on here suggested we sell Bowen. How ridiculous do you now look? Lastn2 games he has been brilliant and always puts 100% effort in even when off form.
07 Dec 2025 16:09:08
HEARTS, take note how well they are playing, with Tony Blooms £10 m investment, using data driven, transfers
Despite giving up on this, during Potters reign, WH need to get back to this system
All the clubs using his systems across the leagues, performing welll!
Can save countless millions
Bloom is very secretive, Sullivan is not a believer, but results speak for themselves

Awarding that goal is a disgrace. They would not have scored if the ball had not hit his arm, which gave him the opportunity to shoot.
The real irony is that there is no doubt that the goal would have been disallowed if he had scored from that shot.
That means that Areola has been punished for making a brilliant save.
I am disgusted.
07 Dec 2025 15:50:25
But it his arm from the body? It did not hit his arm directly. Those are the rules.
Where we were sat we couldnāt decide if it was direct arm or body to arm.
Overall, a point gained.
07 Dec 2025 16:18:17
I thought that was for the defender if it comes off one part of the body then hits his hand. Striker using it to control the ball is different.
If the ref gave it as handball then he scored from the first shot do you think var would have overuled? i'd say no.
Also if mavro goes down holding his head that should have been disallowed for dangerous play.
Soucek vs man u if he went down would have got a pen, then youve got amad and mbuemo diving but not cards?
The standard of officiating is appaling either that or corruption.
I mean dan burn had a defender in a headlock last week and got a pen given in his favour.
07 Dec 2025 16:31:41
The talking point clearly was the Brighton goal. Ball ricochet of his thigh onto his arm which he used to control the ball and shoot. Disappointed in VAR but, we look a much different team and well organised with good shape. Yes we need players, but, the signs are encouraging
07 Dec 2025 15:03:11
Before the game, you have to say a point is good, so close! To 3,
but keeps us in touch, I think we are much improved under Nuno, reinforcing, the side is Paramount, come next month
We still have a chance, of staying in this league
07 Dec 2025 15:18:39
I agree Joyful. On another day we could have been 3,4 nil up before they had their little rally in injury time. This side is capable of going on a little run which could be difference in us staying up.
07 Dec 2025 15:33:34
The chances fell to Summerville, Bowen would likely scored both, we are slowly adapting to Nunos Counter style
Problem is we are strikers short, a quality front man or two, we win that game
Thatās solely down to Sullivan, Nuno has now found the shape
Incidentally having watched slow motion, Brighton goal, definite hand ball, arm moves with a shrug, bringing ball under control, Var got it wrong
07 Dec 2025 15:51:37
We did better when Wilson came on. Surely, Nuno can see this.
07 Dec 2025 16:12:06
I also agree joyful. I didnāt like the initial team but he obviously went in with a game plan to really sit back first half to let Brighton think it was going to boss it for 90 minutes and it wasnāt to be as we attacked from the get go of the second half.
The football isnāt fantastic but that is also down to a lack of depth of decent players. But there are a lot of positives to take since he has taken over. Picking youth players being able to come from behind and not just giving up and getting a functional midfield which helps defence and attack. I think things may dip with the next couple of games but I think we will rebound and move up the table.
@ brooking. It is a well known fact that Wilson can not last for consecutive games or he will break down. But I have to say Iām surprised at what a good player he has been even if time on the pitch is limited. He is a proper striker.
07 Dec 2025 16:18:06
I think we played really well today, so unlucky considering we were defending really resolutely!
No comment on the penalty, Ref gave it, full stop! Thought our goal was terrific, Wilson on 11 seconds later beautiful ball to Bowen, bang another one in the oven ā½ļø Fernandez outstanding today as was Bowen, Areola some excellent saves, we do not need a keeper to replace him, that would be an insult imo, how much better can they be than him! Donāt mention any negatives as there were none imo, Football is a game of mistakes, take it or leave it! COYI āāāā
07 Dec 2025 16:33:24
Agreed brooking but nuno clearly had a plan and wanted to rest the young lads, which I like. don't want to burn them out.
Striker with electric pace is a must.
07 Dec 2025 18:43:00
Mac3š¤£yeah thereās loads of them about that can score 20 per season that want to come to usš¤š¤āāā
