WH trying to get the edge with Valentin Carboni of Milan, the Italian side not keen to sell him, but they might let him go to WH for a year without options, WH want to buy him let's see if anything happens

Although WH will bid for Goncalves, they will look at a bid for Jota Silva winger playing for Vitoria in Portugal,

Sloppy Loppy has at 2 pm just received contract offer. 3 years on 5m basic, plus a whole variety of bonuses, team building, transfers, budget, too be discussed, , As I mentioned the other day I thought he might get the job, , only things in the way, are footballing concerns not financial, let's see how this pans out, wether it suits all parties

Joyful Hammer

1.) 24 Apr 2024 18:44:18
If true, Is he really an upgrade on Moyes, ?

2.) 24 Apr 2024 19:28:47
Not in my own opinion stevie, the saving grace, might be differing. Transfer ideas, and how quick WH want big squad changes, but at this moment of writing he is UNFORTUNATELY the front runner, I was hoping for better, but you never know,

3.) 25 Apr 2024 07:09:50
Very disappointing but hey, SULLIVAN and his members know who's best. let's all trust in SULLIVAN and he will get the right man for the job he he lol

4.) 25 Apr 2024 19:20:13
Sullivan is a clown. If he goes for Lopetuigui, he will piss of the fans and Tim stiedten in one swoop.

I can see he thinks this is a safer bet and cheaper alternative to the other names linked. Maybe the thinking is that the other younger progressive managers will need to do change the squad more drastically that what lop would. Imo the only players worth keeping are the ones that would be able to play more progressive football anyway.

Generally think he's the worse option out of all the managers we've been linked to so far.

5.) 27 Apr 2024 16:16:01
Lopetegui was never getting the job . It was a combination of the media and certain fan channels fanning the flames . Knowing it was going to piss off the fanbase . Good for one side to point fingers at our fanbase. The others only want viewers .

Just heard couple of things, first it may not be goodbye to Antonio, in June as WH may use 1 year option, to keep him as extra striker, and try to move Ings on, ( not likely on his wages ) Antonio may be happy to stay on, it's under debate, with the player . also Man City only want to pay £50m for paqueta plus a player, WH have responded, in talks £85 m is the buyout price, but they could be interested in a player or two, one of the players of interest is GK Ortega, don't 'know the others, Man United, have now made clear their interest in Paqueta, but have yet to make any move , early days, but wheels are turning .going to be very interesting. Window coming up with new restrictions coming into force, WH looking for 2/3 free transfers, MY QUESTION why let JOHNSON go Unless he just wants out, we shall see how this turns out

Joyful Hammer

1.) 16 Apr 2024 20:06:56
I would hope that we sort the manager position out before we decide on any transfers?

2.) 18 Apr 2024 18:10:26
Joyful Hammer, ?Great news for me re Antonio, well documented on here that I am a big big Antonio fan, really hope he stays? Not worried about the Paqueta saga, he’s going anyway, unfortunately Kudus will go which will be a great shame and if we can hang on to Bowen??Hope his Father in law can influence him to stay??⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

3.) 19 Apr 2024 18:31:16
Kudas isn't leaving. i'd wager money over that . No doubt you're believing the Liverpool rumours . Pacqueta is going the others ain't . especially when you see who the incoming investors are .

4.) 19 Apr 2024 20:15:24
Who are the new investors?

I know the Gold family were putting shares up for sale, but didn’t think there had been any interest?

5.) 19 Apr 2024 20:18:59
Again, how on earth can we make decisions on who is coming and going before we have a new manager? What if the new manager does or does not want players?

02 Apr 2024 22:17:34
Fair result, we had the chance to win it, Antonio gave his all , but he's never been a clinical finisher, thing to note spurs made 5 subs, we never made one, that is the difference between the clubs, we have NO bench,

Joyful Hammer

1.) 03 Apr 2024 10:34:21
We really don't have a bench. We've basically spent £450m on a squad of 14 players that includes 2 goalkeepers.

2.) 03 Apr 2024 13:11:29
This is ALL down to Moyes, he turned away three players in January, and signed Phillips, all of these players that could easily make our team, on top of that he vetoed Gudmonsen early in January whereas Genoa had been ready to accept 24 m euros, a proven goal scorer, this man, Ings cornet cresswell etc are a drop in quality, In reality only Johnson can be brought on, and he’s leaving soon anyway, we have a 14 player first team squad at present, that’s. It and One of the main reasons, WH must part with Moyes, there is a light at end of tunnel though if he chooses to sign the new contract offered, he will not be able to veto any players, as he has been able to at present, until seasons end no injuries or suspensions we are ok, if not we are in trouble, that’s it rant over

3.) 03 Apr 2024 14:02:18
He won't VETO them, he simply won;t play them or when he does he will play them out of position and then treat them like he did Benrahma. Its ok, we know what sort of a man he is and what little respect he has for the decisions of others! Sooner he goes the better

4.) 03 Apr 2024 15:00:20
It's says it all about Sullivan. When he allows Moyes . To decimate the squad . Purely because he's fell out with them . Benrhama fornals vlasic kral and strongly suspect agured has joined them . There's strong rumours he and ings don't speak either it's like mourinho at spurs . Only difference being levy has a backbone .

5.) 03 Apr 2024 16:11:55
That was apparently our 42nd game already this season . They can play a maximum 41 in all . They have a squad we don't . Cheers dwarf.

6.) 03 Apr 2024 16:50:27
In this particular case it’s Sullivan. That was furious with Moyes, in January, as he had already given the nod on all four players, mentioned, then Moyes gave them all the no no, he only wanted the disastrous Phillips that’s why new contract would be entirely different, Moyes is SOLELY to blame for no bench, Sullivan and Steidten totally blameless, Steidten wanted to know what he had been employed for? He was wasting his time and efforts, for Moyes to Turn his back on decent players, it was a crazy situation, it’s not going to happen again, Moyes might try to renegotiate the contract, so he’s in charge of transfer business again. But it’s not going to happen, otherwise it’s goodbye to Steidten and his. Clique they will be off

Moyes must be wringing his hands in desperation it's becoming news that the complete Man United squad is for sale 22 players! Only three do they want to keep, all fair. offers considered for the rest, like WH on steroids! They also want a load of younger players gone as well, with all the new rules coming in there's going to be lots of players on the market, this may be ideal for us as we will be needing so many, on the other hand it might push prices down, for our sales, time will tell the story

Joyful Hammer

1.) 01 May 2024 02:19:21
He must be like a kid in a candy shop with both hands tied behind his back!

2.) 01 May 2024 07:21:21
To be honest I'm not sure there are many from Man Utd that I would want. The over inflated ego's afte earning 100's of thousands of pounds a week which was thrown at them at MAN UTD! United think they can win trophioes by throwing money at players and managers and look how its turned out.

For me, keep your players, we need to be looking for younger, faster, more enthusiastic players with energy and a hunger for the game, not for how much they can rinse from the club.

Explain to me how Man Utd pay £90m for Anthony and we get KUDUS for £35m Where is the common sense.

Anyway, as for the managerial farce, it seems AC MILAN fans have dug there heels in and AC Milan are not looking at CONTE as the new manager and not LOPETEGUI. Seems we've had talks with HANSI FLICK earlier in the year and we are now ready to step up our interest in FONSECA, however, MARSEILLE are very interested so I'd suggest we get out skates on

29 Apr 2024 17:43:11
Cresswell was offered a years extension, at apparently. 20k a week, , it seems that he can do better money wise, and get a two year deal elsewhere, to be honest I don't even understand, why a contract was offered, he has stated a dozen times he's leaving, wants to be a lot nearer house he's built near Liverpool, I think it's beginning to dawn on Steidten that it's going to be impossible to replace ( in one window ) all of those lleaving at end of contracts, plus al, those that want to leave, about a dozen in all, we are likely to get 4 in maybe 6 at a maximum, so there's going to be perhaps a rethink about who's leaving, and how many youngsters can be played, interesting times .?

Joyful Hammer

1.) 30 Apr 2024 06:28:51
I don't understand any of this? Why are we taregtting players and offering new contracts until we get a new manager, that's if they really intend on getting a new manager which am beginning to doubt

2.) 30 Apr 2024 09:46:50
I don’t get it either, one minute, Antonio is staying for the option of a year, as an extra. Striker OK fair enough, two weeks later, he’s not wanted, Loptegui is Moyes updated, a.bit more tactically aware, but that’s it, not the greatest descision, I was hoping for a clean sweep, there’s been a lot of talking, but when push comes to shove, nothings going to change except a name, Sullivan is just frightened to make serious changes, BUT that’s what Steidten was employed for, this could turn from exciting times to a proper mess, I hope it’s not a great opportunity wasted

Sloppy Loppy takes Milan job that's the favourite gone

Joyful Hammer

1.) 29 Apr 2024 11:14:38
From what I’ve heard if we had got him that would have been ‘ground hog day’! ?

2.) 29 Apr 2024 15:20:29
Sorry, as much as I would like you to be right regarding Sloppy Loppy taking the Milan job I can't find this story anywhere. I last heard that the Milan supporters had handed a signed petition demanding he does not become there next manager, and that Milan have cooled on his appointment.

3.) 29 Apr 2024 18:13:48
Yep you could be right HM . The rumour mill is in full swing. If he is as dull as people are suggesting hopefully he won’t end up with us………

28 Apr 2024 10:39:07
Looking like sloppy Loppy not coming to WH, that's for me good news, his style is slightly advanced, but still too similar to Moyes, fans won't like it, for sure

Leverage WAS the name of the game, as Amorim used WH and Liverpool, to enhance his prospects for Barcelona job, Steidten is still in pursuit don't see the point

Joyful Hammer

1.) 24 Apr 2024 21:01:18
Amorim has CL football with Porto next season. That would be the best shop window for him. I see it has him enjoying the attention and milking the spot light.

2.) 25 Apr 2024 11:52:46
He is the Sporting Lisbon manager not Porto!

Hammer 7580, don’t know where you are getting your info from mate, Sullivan greeted Amorim, then Steidten. Did a presentation, , Sullivan went home , met the Portuguese to talk finance , in private at his house, NOT that it matters, from what I understand, Sullivan offered 200k a week plus bonuses, should equal 12 m a year, a large amount on transfers plus all sales, BUT if you note I alluded to the fact we might be being used for leverage, and that’s exactly what it looks like, , regards to you

The meeting centered on a 3 season change at WH, with Steidten and Sullivan, thinking we can change gradually, over 5/6 windows Amorim. Wants immediate change (can’t blame him for that ) The volume of players not wanted is large …. Sounds great, but who is going to want Ings at £125k a week for example, and irregardless of how much money we have to spend, and it’s healthy, can we get in the amount of fresh players required in this window, I mentioned yesterday that a visit to us looks like leverage, for what I don’t know, I would love to see him at WH, but no club can do this turnaround it’s impossible , so unless something changes Amorim can be forgotten

We are good. Enough to score a couple of goals against Liverpool, BUT the volume of goals we are conceding, is FAR too many, areola made some great stops, the Liverpool second was a fluke, but our team needs a lot of sorting out, it’s got to be the most active window ever coming up, irregardless of who’s in charge

Moyes has NO friends, a fact he’s spoken of many times, Media only reporting the obvious He’s leaving in June lazy lazy reporting, on their part, Daisy, WH, being used for leverage at present, WH need to keep quiet, go about their business, Steidten was super confident on Amorim, and he’s come unstuck, , not a fact he will like very much

It would appear that last week Johnson was offered a big increase on his wages from 25k a week to 40 k he has asked time to think about it, as a free agent he will probably get that elsewhere anyway, so he will soon have to decide stay or go, under a new manager he may get more chances, but at Palace his present choice, he will definitely play regular football, whereas Villa not likely
