Wout Faes to West Ham is off.
1.) 01 Sep 2026 14:42:39
Woohoo. ??
01 Sep 2026 11:33:39
Kaelan Casey going on loan to Stevenage.
01 Sep 2026 11:29:42
Any news on left back Anass Salah-Eddine joyful?
1.) 01 Sep 2026 12:31:18
Getting to the stage, take any old body, mate! Pellegrini may not be enough time, ax a complete shock for him that Lazio could let him go, and for a small fee, but they don’t want to loan, sale only they are saying.
Don’t see amass, West Ham were behind on this one, but Man U are fickle, small chance.
Salah Eddine is favourite of the three, just depends how Roma see it. They would rather sell. Times moving on.
18 Aug 2026 13:34:18
Apparently Alvarez has put in a transfer request. He's agreed to less wages to join Real Sociedad.
1.) 18 Aug 2026 15:53:04
Holy crap, who isn't leaving? Deal with Sociedad said to be close.
So that's him, Diouf and AWB, and we missed out on Disasi?
I hope our lot know wtf they are doing, because we will have nobody left at this rate.
2.) 18 Aug 2026 16:24:26
Todibo and Fullkrug as well, I reckon, if I take my boots to match I'll get a game. ?
3.) 18 Aug 2026 16:30:01
You're too old, I'm already on the bench!
4.) 18 Aug 2026 17:27:35
We could have an over 60s second 11. We'd still be better than Fullkrug.
5.) 18 Aug 2026 18:15:58
Pencil me in.
15 Aug 2026 22:26:06
Todibo wanted by Marsaille. They want a loan. West Ham want a sale.
1.) 16 Aug 2026 11:47:22
String of onions, and a beret. This mob are ridiculous.

I'll probably get shot down but I like Pablo. I know he don't know where the goal is yet but he don't stop harassing defenders all the time he is on the pitch. If all our outfield players had his energy then we'd be a force.
1.) 02 Sep 2026 11:14:27
In excess of £20million for an attacking player who runs around "harassing" defenders and who can't hit a barn door? Never mind that, because he's got a lot of energy. Really? Unpack your parachute, Skaman.
2.) 02 Sep 2026 11:23:27
Pablo is an interesting one. When he plays, we play better, although he never shoots, and therefore never scores, which is his job.
I wonder if he is a little bit like Joelinton and could drop back into centre midfield.
Personally, I think he is a marmite player.
3.) 02 Sep 2026 11:53:50
Haha, I knew you'd be first to comment, Tin, cos you have a personal vendetta against him. As Brooking says, he's a bit marmite, I like him, you don't. All the time he has our badge on his chest, I'll support him and any other player. My hand is on the rip-cord.
4.) 02 Sep 2026 12:17:47
Well said Skaman, although I do take issue with your comment about a personal vendetta. Not true. I have nothing personal against Nuno. I just believe he is clueless and not the right coach for West Ham. There are better alternatives. I do wonder about his motives with transfers and team selections, and you'll never convince me there's a good footballer in Pablo somewhere.
5.) 02 Sep 2026 13:03:37
I agree with you about Nuno, Tin. There are better jobless managers out there, but we're stuck with him now. I mean, Orford has been our best player so far, and he wasn't even on the bench. As for transfers, I don't think he or any manager has much say in who comes and goes anymore. Modern day football, I guess.
6.) 02 Sep 2026 13:03:45
Fortunately, you're not the one that needs convincing, TL. He's only a young lad and doesn't stop trying, which can't be said for all of our players, Taty, for example. I like Pablo's attitude and think when he gets one goal, more will follow.
No problem with getting on the manager's case, btw. He's there to be shot at if/when things go wrong, but if Pablo's getting moans and groans from the terraces, that isn't going to help him... the lad needs a break.
7.) 02 Sep 2026 13:08:28
He is definitely an enigma. I've slagged him off plenty of times, as he does lack genuine ability in front of goal. But he is a likeable character, and in some of the games we did actually miss him, like against Burnley, where he helps keep the ball in the opposition half.
Don't think he should be starting necessarily, but in comparison to JWP, Cornet and Todibo, he is there when needed.
8.) 02 Sep 2026 13:51:45
You couldn't be more wrong, Dabber. I am only one of thousands of supporters who need convincing that each individual player has a role to play in the team, in order to command support. There are plenty of young players who try their best and who have the right attitude, but there are limits to ability.
If a player doesn't have what it takes at this level, no amount of running around will change that.
9.) 02 Sep 2026 14:50:55
As you don't buy the players or pick the team your opinion of any player is actually irrelevant. West Ham evidently is a club that commands support irrespectively demonstrated by the thousands of supporters who purchase season tickets every year therefore your argument is flawed. I do however agree that having the right attitude needs to be complimented with ability but until this season concludes none of us will know whether Pablo can cut it in the Championship.
My argument is that those who go to the games every week, which does not include you or I, need to try and help the lad by not getting on his case.
10.) 02 Sep 2026 17:55:12
So, in other words, you are saying that the opinions of hundreds of thousands of West Ham supporters worldwide, because they don't physically buy the players or pick the team, matter not a jot (they are irrelevant). What utter nonsense. It's the reason they support the club. If they didn't, they wouldn't buy tickets, would they?
11.) 02 Sep 2026 21:00:46
As per usual, you try and resort to smug retort. Every single West Ham fan and supporter has an opinion on players, managers and formations, but ultimately their opinion matters not. Fact. The owners of this club will do whatever they want, as they have the power to do so.
The 60,000 who buy season tickets will continue to do so, because they love the club, demonstrated this season post relegation, and even though we've kept a manager who divides opinion at best. Utter nonsense ... pot calling the kettle, mate!
12.) 03 Sep 2026 00:43:33
I don't see how saying that supporters' opinions matter can be 'smug'. True, they have little administrative power, but to suggest they are irrelevant is blatant nonsense. To my mind, supporters' opinions do matter.
13.) 03 Sep 2026 01:15:58
The smug comment was reference that my opinion is utter nonsense. Give me an example of supporters having any administrative power or their opinion relevantly affecting any decision and I'll back down
{Ed001's Note - it has happened 3 times that I can think of at liverpool Dabber. FSG backed down over ticket prices on 2 occasions, did over layoffs during Covid as well. If fans get together and organise they have all the power. Clubs can't exist without you.
14.) 03 Sep 2026 07:11:58
And at West Ham, the crowd demonstrations at the Burnley (I think) game a few seasons back had an effect on Sullivan and the board.
15.) 03 Sep 2026 07:08:03
Thanks Ed, that's exactly what I mean.
Dabber, on reflection, it's not your opinion I think is nonsense. More your misuse of vocabulary. In this case, your use of the word "irrelevant". In my opinion, supporters should never be described as irrelevant. They are the life blood of the sport.
16.) 03 Sep 2026 09:02:23
That's fair comment from both of you. I will say, though, my use of the word irrelevant was in relation to your views on Pablo.
17.) 03 Sep 2026 11:30:23
Ah, but I am a West Ham supporter! ?
18.) 03 Sep 2026 14:49:11
And, as a West Ham supporter, your view on Pablo will have no relevance when it comes to Nuno picking the side on Saturday. ?
19.) 03 Sep 2026 15:53:27
That doesn't alter the fact that I am one of thousands who think Pablo is useless and will never be any good at this level. And, if a useless coach keeps selecting a useless player, it will eventually come back to bite them both, making that opinion valid.
20.) 03 Sep 2026 23:06:01
Unless, of course, he eventually succeeds, which is also believed by thousands... Either way, your opinion of him or mine is not relevant.
21.) 04 Sep 2026 00:20:41
Don't hold your breath! ?
22.) 04 Sep 2026 04:45:00
You know, evidence tends to question your assessment of "...believed by thousands", as I've seen little to support that view. Pablo attracts a great deal of the opposite when team selections are announced.
Having said that, I am a West Ham supporter of many years standing, so I hope any WH player comes good and succeeds, even if I believe it's not possible. Good luck to him.
22 Aug 2026 14:16:07
West Ham's starting 11 Hermansen; Walker-Peters, Mavropanos, Kilman, Scarles; Bowen, Engels, Kante, Solomon; Taty, Piroe.
Diouf not on the bench.
1.) 22 Aug 2026 14:25:40
Looks like Diouf on the way out. Look how poor the bench is, that's going to be the problem.
2.) 22 Aug 2026 15:47:24
It's laughable, really.
3.) 22 Aug 2026 18:00:38
Sell em all snd sack Nuno start again. Its farcical.
19 Aug 2026 13:58:10
Jordan James having medical at Wolves. Loan deal with 8m obligation.
1.) 19 Aug 2026 15:18:19
Cheap. WH. First mistake. I posted earlier on today.
2.) 19 Aug 2026 15:31:47
£8m, I ask you. Austbo is only £10m. Job is £6m. It's got to be cause there is no money.
3.) 19 Aug 2026 15:55:14
There is money, there is still a massive debt, it's clear to all that we need players in. Feeling better about the attack. If we get in Louza, the midfield looks ok, it's the defence that's worrying. We are going to concede goals as it is, not a promotion-winning side.
Not long to go now, I'm not saying anything that WH don't know.
4.) 19 Aug 2026 16:13:47
Perhaps Nino is turning into Keegan and we'll score more than we concede. ?
5.) 19 Aug 2026 16:27:29
Sorry Joyful, I must have missed it.
6.) 19 Aug 2026 16:50:20
Championship. Just so different to Premier, we need to score a lot of goals. I'm not sure we will score enough even with Engels and Piroe. I'm sort of 50/50.
Our defence no good full stop. We need proper defenders. Kilman, Scarles, forget it, we are very vulnerable, times running out.
I was shocked with collapse at Burnley, this doesn't bode well.
7.) 19 Aug 2026 17:02:02
I actually think, with the additions of Piroe and Engels, and assuming Taty doesn't leave, we can score enough goals. I think squad depth and poor tactics might hurt us more, but the quality of players is good enough in the first team.
8.) 19 Aug 2026 17:14:14
We can't keep them out for sure, watching the last two games, I'm not as confident as yourself.
Nuno's tactics leave much to be desired, true! But we are players short, so there's two problems.
9.) 19 Aug 2026 17:39:55
Probably only Kilman from 1st 11 needs replacing. The rest are more than good enough for this league. We let in so many goals because Nuno insists on defending the rest of the game on a low block as soon as we score.
17 Aug 2026 20:45:42
Wilfred Saha is a free agent, maybe worth a punt.
1.) 18 Aug 2026 12:02:59
Leave well alone. Better than good in his day, but that's long past. There's nowhere to go with these people, all looking for a last payday. Vardy wants 40 k a week plus. A bus pass. Zaha wants the same. Save it for younger people, that's my view.
31 Aug 2025 16:01:38
Brilliant result, hopefully it'll shut the likes of carragher's and merson's gobs
1.) 31 Aug 2025 16:07:52
I’m still in shock, Summerville really turned the game to add punishment
2.) 31 Aug 2025 16:11:33
Back 4 so much better with walker peters and two CBs.
Much more balanced and we got to start wilson.
3.) 31 Aug 2025 16:51:00
??⚒⚒Wowwee chaps, what a great surprise, was round my DAughters watching and my son in law is a Forest boy ??whoops? Magnificent performance with lots of egg on our faces including myself over previous postings?Think we might win the Premiership now?only kidding.
As merceri said first time in a long while we have smiles on our faces!
Too any performances to praise, everyone was great, but what a difference up front when Summerville and Wilson came on! Looking forward to when we go to Spurs after the break. ⚒⚒⚒⚒COYI????
04 Sep 2026 11:38:04
Crazy!
04 Sep 2026 10:04:04
FootballTransfers.com has his value at 10 to 13 million euros, so maybe the 100m was Norwegian krona.
02 Sep 2026 10:32:55
It might be wrong, but I read we bid for him 3 weeks ago, and he didn't want to come, so we went for Engels. As I said, it could be sloppy journalism, but I am happy with Engels in the team.
01 Sep 2026 11:23:10
He scored 2 own goals against Liverpool. ?
01 Sep 2026 10:05:45
Probably the best of the bunch we've been rumoured with. As long as he's not facing the goal. ?
02 Sep 2026 16:02:45
Joyful, I don't think £20m is an ludicrous price for an EPL team to pay nowadays, especially when the player scored 10 goals in 13 appearances for his previous team.
02 Sep 2026 13:03:37
I agree with you about Nuno, Tin. There are better jobless managers out there, but we're stuck with him now. I mean, Orford has been our best player so far, and he wasn't even on the bench. As for transfers, I don't think he or any manager has much say in who comes and goes anymore. Modern day football, I guess.
02 Sep 2026 12:20:07
That's taking the biscuit. ?
02 Sep 2026 11:53:50
Haha, I knew you'd be first to comment, Tin, cos you have a personal vendetta against him. As Brooking says, he's a bit marmite, I like him, you don't. All the time he has our badge on his chest, I'll support him and any other player. My hand is on the rip-cord.
29 Aug 2026 15:57:35
Yep, Orford miles better than Kante on the ball. He can read the game like Rice did for us.
