Hi Joyful.
I know you tend to keep yourself to player dealings but I wondered if you have any info regarding DOF. Like most, it has seemed like a great week and a real feeling that we are almost rid (or will be soon) of most of the rotten apples at the top. But we are hearing a lot of talk, much of which I’m sure is either true or we hope it is true. But hearing on other sites that we had a done deal for the former Newcastle DOF only to hear that this is not happening.
I don’t want to start the old pessimism again but all the stuff about DOF, player retention, Coach re-hiring, new stadium, new training facilities. None of this is actually set in stone or done deals. We are used to getting our hopes up only for them to be dashed. We’ve generally stopped believing anything coming out of the club. Do you think things are genuinely different this time?
1.) 20 Jun 2026 22:21:37
Yup, looks like Nickson joining Wrexham. It may be, just maybe something to do with a Staveley approach? Can't say
Although we were expecting a ton of problems following Sullivan's exit, nothing bad has happened so far, Kretinsky has got a grip.
Kretinsky is no fool, he's in charge now, so we fans have to have faith, things don't always go smoothly, especially for West Ham
Next two weeks are going to tell the story, let's see what happens.
2.) 21 Jun 2026 09:57:44
One week to go until fixtures are announced and still no Director of Football. Nickson off to Wrexham, so who next, I wonder.
{Ed001's Note - you have signed that Venezuelan/Colombian lad though, Keiber Lamadrid, even without one. I wonder who decided it then without a DoF?}
3.) 21 Jun 2026 11:14:39
Kerim Verani, Mark Noble, Nuno, 950k gamble! It was ok'd by Kretinsky.
4.) 21 Jun 2026 11:59:01
Great Question Ed001! Who is making these decisions, KREZYNSKI?
Surely he is far too busy to be involved in player transfers?
{Ed001's Note - I wish I knew the answer mate.}
5.) 21 Jun 2026 15:44:24
I've given the answer.
08 Jun 2026 07:48:30
The news seems to be getting even better as it seems Sullivans' kids don’t want to play any role in West Ham and Sullivan will be selling his shares. If this is the case, I suppose DK buys them. Some of us have been critical of him for not actually helping West Ham financially in the past.
But I would be much more happy knowing the Sullivan dynasty no longer have anything to do with West Ham. At least DK will try and run the club in the proper modern way in which most teams in the upper echelons do. Rome wasn’t built in a day but if true this is great.
1.) 11 Jun 2026 05:42:38
KRETINSKY said he wouldn't put no money in while SULLIVAN was majority shareholder he's a very quiet man we've basically not heard a peep out of him in 2 years but he's a very powerful man hopefully he buys the predator out otherwise amanda shelvey is very interested how true is this please Ed?? ⚒️⚒️⚒️
{Ed001's Note - Staveley has been interested in a while, but she stepped away after finding out about the programme. She didn't want the issues for her clients which may stem from it as Sullivan would not sell up completely then. Knowing her, she will be back now to step up in with an offer to buy him out. She wanted a full buyout of his shareholding from the start, as her and her clients want a majority shareholding.}

Thank you for your response and Information. ? ⚒️ ⚒️ ⚒️

Has anyone heard any rumours regarding the board about to crumble? I watched a video on another site and they were quite guarded about what they were saying. Rightly so as if the info would be false then I imagine the club could take legal action. So I wouldn't expect anyone to put their neck on the line or say anything that could cause this website issues.
But what they would say is that in the next couple of weeks the whole house of cards is going to come tumbling down. I just wondered if others had heard anything similar or if they knew if there was any thrush in these rumours
1.) 26 Feb 2026 12:13:06
It's probably connected to the public release of the club's annual accounts. Allegedly, they are a disaster.
2.) 27 Feb 2026 15:41:43
I thought they were due to be published today, which I've heard are a disaster. But also read that Brady is not leaving, so probably yet more false nonsense generated to get the hopes up.
3.) 27 Feb 2026 17:29:11
She's leaving.
4.) 01 Mar 2026 05:42:13
Why have we got Hermansson in goal? It's clear Areola has upset turkey teeth.
5.) 01 Mar 2026 16:11:37
Ewell56, Yes, why did we have Hermansson in goal? Areola is far superior, imo, despite what other posters think on here! Nuno bloody baffles me. I don't rate him at all, and I'm glad to see the back of him when & if he eventually goes.
Everything crossed for Wednesday. Chance of some point(s) there to catch up on Forest, who are away to City. Hopefully not much for Forest there, so 3 points could see us out of the bottom 3. ? ? ? ? Coyi ⚒ ⚒ ⚒ ⚒
6.) 05 Mar 2026 07:20:30
Hermansen played a blinder last night.
7.) 05 Mar 2026 10:47:03
I think everyone was convinced we were going down a couple of months ago. At least there is some hope now.
8.) 05 Mar 2026 11:26:16
Morning, TL. He played really well, and is certainly a more calming influence on the defence. He was the only one to keep a clean sheet as well.
9.) 05 Mar 2026 14:07:15
Afternoon, Dabber. I am an Areola fan, but I must say that those two saves Hermansen made last night were simply superb. Maybe he just needed confidence? He certainly looked a safe pair of hands. Well played, lad.
10.) 05 Mar 2026 17:12:28
CheezyQuaver, interesting login name. I worked for Smiths Crisps from about 1971 to 1974 as a van salesman, as we were called at Smiths for the launch of Quavers. I am now 81. ?? ⚒⚒⚒⚒
29 Jan 2026 21:00:22
According to C&H Disaster is signing on loan till the end of season! Oh well by all accounts he is dreadful but I suppose we have to hope he turns out to be not so bad. A bit like what happened with Dawson. But somehow I doubt that.
1.) 29 Jan 2026 21:13:28
He was a shoe in, first WH where the only club, to pay his wages in full (78k a week ) , and second it’s the other side of London
Danger here is if he plays well? and we stay up, WH might be tempted to buy him, hhmmmm, we shall see how this develops, we, must not make pre judgement's
2.) 29 Jan 2026 21:38:03
I recall him being quite good at Monaco around 2022-23. Stood out in a few of the Euro games I saw. Don't know what's gone wrong at Chavski but I hope he can get back to that Monaco form for us
3.) 30 Jan 2026 08:54:15
Not enough game time kills, footballers full stop
25 Jan 2026 08:28:49
I know this topic has been mentioned before and nothing will change before the end of the season. But looking beyond this season, we have talked about our skipper issue and the general consensus is Bowen is no skipper and of all the names mentioned Souchek seems the most obvious but is not a certainty to start each match. With the last two performances and especially the first halves and the absence of Paqueta I would argue Fernandez has emerged as an excellent choice.
I know he is only young, but feel he has maturity beyond his years and if we miraculously avoid relegation and we stay up I would argue it would be a potential carrot to get him to stay at the club and build the team around him. Because the big clubs will be coming in for him at season's end.
1.) 25 Jan 2026 15:48:41
Tobido
2.) 25 Jan 2026 18:05:08
Mac I thought you didn’t like Todibo
3.) 26 Jan 2026 06:02:44
I don't but he would make a good captain

The line up looks good today. Although I said this last week. The only difference I would have done is play Orford instead of Kante.
29 Aug 2026 07:55:55
Morning all. Is it a bit too early to describe today’s game as pivotal? Whilst I have been very vocal in calling for Nuno to pack his bags, the Southampton performance and result does give hope.
Will he have the sense to see that this is the way forward and pick 3 or 4 of that team and employ similar tactics or will he just revert to the tried and tested and failed Nuno-ball low block system?
1.) 29 Aug 2026 11:52:31
He needs to stick with the formation and stop going back to 4-4-2.
2.) 29 Aug 2026 11:52:34
Agreed, if we don’t win, the wheels could really come off with Bowen, as his promo bono would be at risk.
We have to hope and pray the share ownership gets resolved. Like all companies, especially football clubs, trouble and instability at the top means the whole firm doesn’t perform.
Sulli is still pulling strings, so let’s get a clear owner in charge, as the K-Man still only has his c. 30% and nothing has actually changed since the board room clear out, apart from the fact we are now good at selling players for decent fees.
COYI. ⚒️ ⚒️ ⚒️
3.) 29 Aug 2026 12:31:10
I'm not keen on DK, but another decent thing that has happened since he has taken a more prominent figurehead role is that our targets or actual purchases are not highlighted and announced to the world before they arrive. Other than that, nothing new.
4.) 29 Aug 2026 14:26:34
Orford and Piroe dropped.
5.) 29 Aug 2026 15:43:14
Oh yeah, I didn't notice Piroe. Orford should be playing, possibly Piroe too.
6.) 29 Aug 2026 15:55:30
Again, Nuno doesn't know how to stick with winning formula, get rid ffs.
26 Aug 2026 22:23:12
Fulham or Wimbledon in the next round at the LS.
23 Aug 2026 18:45:01
I really think there needs to be complete upheaval at West Ham and that mean change in the 3 major posts. That is the manager, the captain needs to be changed and the last and almost as important as the manager is Danial Kretinsky.
DK is a difficult one as he doesn’t have a position that can be challenged. But all the people defending Kretinsky need to remember that he has been ever present through all the crap managers, knowing what the grubby little man at the top had been up to the non existent investment to help us in times of need. He doesn’t even go to the games. If he did he might see how bad a job Nuno is doing. People seem to think he is some great benefactor and Stavely is an evil witch who just wants the real estate at Stratford, and that she is only interested in money. That may be true but if you believe that DK is any different then I believe you are deluded. There are no fairy god fathers or mothers around now, or even a Roman Abrhamovich. At least Staveley is a football person and I believe will win the fans over, firstly by sacking these manager.
As for Nuno, he has to go and the sooner the better. This comes from someone who stood up for him for parts of last season. I thought Potter was our worse ever manager but this guy is exceeding Potter's inadequacies.
Lastly we need to change the captain. Bowen is a decent loyal fella but he seems to think being captain just means you are the highest profile player. He doesn’t need to roar like a lion because Bobby Moore, Billy Bonds and Alvin Martin didn’t, but they were assured and would assert their authority when needed be. Someone mentioned Di Canio earlier. Well Paulo or Julian Dicks wouldn't stand by meekly waving the white flag. You are not just another player you have to let your presence be known when it is required. Bowen as West Ham captain is like having a dormouse as a captain.
Massive change is needed at our club and the sooner the better. Nuno first. ?
1.) 23 Aug 2026 20:01:54
Was he there yesterday, I don't think he was.
2.) 23 Aug 2026 20:12:25
What is alarming is that, when a club's shortfalls are exposed by results, there are always a lot of transfers linked the next day.
Today there is nothing.
Sleepwalking to disaster.
3.) 23 Aug 2026 20:13:33
Stevie, one of the other sites said he has never attended one of our matches, and we are relying on him to make footballing decisions.
22 Aug 2026 14:07:06
Just heading to the game now. Just seen the team sheet. That front 6 looks pretty decent. Should have far too much for Charlton.
1.) 22 Aug 2026 18:01:10
Think again, defence is garbage.
17 Sep 2026 18:41:49
I don't know enough about him to praise or condemn him. The main issue with keeper is they are not allowed the leeway that other positions get. A couple of bad games in a row and he could be finished.
Whereas someone like Pablo can have a multitude of bad games but won't have the same reaction because his mistakes may not cost us the matches, and as has been said before we end up winning many of those.
02 Sep 2026 15:18:29
I think I would, by and large, go along with that, Dabber. Definitely on the making clubs pay the proper whack rather than giving players away, and getting rid of JWP, Todibo and Fulkrug is great. The players, I think, we need to see how they pan out. Solomon and Piroe look pretty decent. I think Makasa is class and could be the real bit of creativity we need, and hopefully the young Norwegian kid will turn out to be as good a find as some of us hope. Obviously, too early to say anything about the 2 defenders bought yesterday, hopefully they won’t turn out to be panic buys.
For me, the jury is out regarding Engels. I read the player ratings yesterday, and people said he had a really good game. I am prepared to bow to their better knowledge. I didn’t actually pay much attention to him until the last quarter of the match, and I have to be honest, I don’t really know what he was doing; he just seemed to be aimlessly running around in the middle of the park, not really contributing anything until there was a corner. But I may be being a bit harsh.
01 Sep 2026 18:54:19
A new manager will help.
01 Sep 2026 18:53:25
The guy has lost it completely. Pablo in, Tatty on bench, same as Golumbekis, who was our best player Saturday. A nervous, out-of-confidence Scarles in against a really quick Wolves forward line.
I can hear the reversing bleeps of the bus as he parks it up.
01 Sep 2026 14:42:39
Woohoo. ??
15 Sep 2026 22:00:58
I'm not so sure Fulham are that bad they did well against Chelsea and against Liverpool. I can't say I am particularly bothered about being knocked out of the League cup it's a competition that unless you win it, it's just all a waste of energy. Much like the Europa conference.
14 Sep 2026 13:27:10
Oh no such a shame. He was one of the only players I have met and a really decent down to earth guy
RIP big man.
14 Sep 2026 06:45:53
What I think is also good is that we see goals given or disallowed now and there's no great reaction from the crowd to what may have been the incorrect decision, but it's just human error with a difficult decision.
Not clear and obvious which is what VAR should have been in the first place.
12 Sep 2026 17:43:51
Don't worry Corby even tho I'm a ST holder I'm not the most partisan fan. So should be able to help the team with my non attendance ?.
12 Sep 2026 17:05:45
I think if we can get a result at Millwall that would be crucial going into an international break. Hopefully it won't make us loose impetus. Yep agreed Borro and Sotton will be up there, a few others could be WBA and Norwich.
Amazing how the general feeling can change in a few weeks but I suppose that happens when you play so many games in a short space of time.
Many things clicking. Team spirit being the main one. Bowens form and maybe being more of a leader. Also hopefully we won't be seeing the bus parked as I don't think that has happened for the last 3 games. I think we have far more fire power than most others although the defence could be the Achilles heel. But 2 clean sheets out of 3 will help the confidence.
