Has anyone heard any rumours regarding the board about to crumble? I watched a video on another site and they were quite guarded about what they were saying. Rightly so as if the info would be false then I imagine the club could take legal action. So I wouldn't expect anyone to put their neck on the line or say anything that could cause this website issues.
But what they would say is that in the next couple of weeks the whole house of cards is going to come tumbling down. I just wondered if others had heard anything similar or if they knew if there was any thrush in these rumours
1.) 26 Feb 2026 12:13:06
It's probably connected to the public release of the club's annual accounts. Allegedly, they are a disaster.
2.) 27 Feb 2026 15:41:43
I thought they were due to be published today, which I've heard are a disaster. But also read that Brady is not leaving, so probably yet more false nonsense generated to get the hopes up.
3.) 27 Feb 2026 17:29:11
She's leaving.
4.) 01 Mar 2026 05:42:13
Why have we got Hermansson in goal? It's clear Areola has upset turkey teeth.
5.) 01 Mar 2026 16:11:37
Ewell56, Yes, why did we have Hermansson in goal? Areola is far superior, imo, despite what other posters think on here! Nuno bloody baffles me. I don't rate him at all, and I'm glad to see the back of him when & if he eventually goes.
Everything crossed for Wednesday. Chance of some point(s) there to catch up on Forest, who are away to City. Hopefully not much for Forest there, so 3 points could see us out of the bottom 3. ? ? ? ? Coyi ⚒ ⚒ ⚒ ⚒
6.) 05 Mar 2026 07:20:30
Hermansen played a blinder last night.
7.) 05 Mar 2026 10:47:03
I think everyone was convinced we were going down a couple of months ago. At least there is some hope now.
8.) 05 Mar 2026 11:26:16
Morning, TL. He played really well, and is certainly a more calming influence on the defence. He was the only one to keep a clean sheet as well.
9.) 05 Mar 2026 14:07:15
Afternoon, Dabber. I am an Areola fan, but I must say that those two saves Hermansen made last night were simply superb. Maybe he just needed confidence? He certainly looked a safe pair of hands. Well played, lad.
10.) 05 Mar 2026 17:12:28
CheezyQuaver, interesting login name. I worked for Smiths Crisps from about 1971 to 1974 as a van salesman, as we were called at Smiths for the launch of Quavers. I am now 81. ?? ⚒⚒⚒⚒

According to C&H Disaster is signing on loan till the end of season! Oh well by all accounts he is dreadful but I suppose we have to hope he turns out to be not so bad. A bit like what happened with Dawson. But somehow I doubt that.
1.) 29 Jan 2026 21:13:28
He was a shoe in, first WH where the only club, to pay his wages in full (78k a week ) , and second it’s the other side of London
Danger here is if he plays well? and we stay up, WH might be tempted to buy him, hhmmmm, we shall see how this develops, we, must not make pre judgement's
2.) 29 Jan 2026 21:38:03
I recall him being quite good at Monaco around 2022-23. Stood out in a few of the Euro games I saw. Don't know what's gone wrong at Chavski but I hope he can get back to that Monaco form for us
3.) 30 Jan 2026 08:54:15
Not enough game time kills, footballers full stop
25 Jan 2026 08:28:49
I know this topic has been mentioned before and nothing will change before the end of the season. But looking beyond this season, we have talked about our skipper issue and the general consensus is Bowen is no skipper and of all the names mentioned Souchek seems the most obvious but is not a certainty to start each match. With the last two performances and especially the first halves and the absence of Paqueta I would argue Fernandez has emerged as an excellent choice.
I know he is only young, but feel he has maturity beyond his years and if we miraculously avoid relegation and we stay up I would argue it would be a potential carrot to get him to stay at the club and build the team around him. Because the big clubs will be coming in for him at season's end.
1.) 25 Jan 2026 15:48:41
Tobido
2.) 25 Jan 2026 18:05:08
Mac I thought you didn’t like Todibo
3.) 26 Jan 2026 06:02:44
I don't but he would make a good captain
29 Dec 2025 16:50:07
Just seen on C&H West Ham in talks with Nathan Ake probably better than what we currently have but as usual he is oldish his best days are past him and the wages he would want would be extortionate. I can see another 5 year contract on high wages coming
1.) 29 Dec 2025 20:04:37
I’d take him in a heart beat HD, solid leader and can play CB, LB and Midfield, imo he is exactly the signing we need
2.) 29 Dec 2025 21:15:46
Couldn’t agree more Dabber.
3.) 30 Dec 2025 09:10:54
I’ve also seen Fulham, Palace and Bournemouth are interested, so unless West Ham throw a load of money at him I’m not sure he’ll pick us, hope I’m wrong as him and Cresswell could be just what we need.
4.) 31 Dec 2025 05:45:25
Apparently, Ake has said ‘no’ to us.
23 Sep 2025 17:49:23
I'm reading on some sites that we seem to be approaching managers that are already at other teams, like Parker and Marko Silva. Apparently Kretinski's idea. I find this hard to believe and could be more fake news released to placate the fans but if it is true it would be a step in the right direction.
1.) 23 Sep 2025 19:47:36
Kretinsky is not frightened to pay another club an exit fee for a manager, whilst to Sullivan, paying an exit fee for another manger, is like breaking the holy grail so maybe some persuading has been coming on, we shall see
2.) 23 Sep 2025 20:47:28
Any chance Bellamy?
Definitely a positive option for me.
3.) 24 Sep 2025 07:30:40
If we tie two things together:
1. That David Sullivan really does care about West Ham (supposedly, him and Dave "Longfella" Hunt bonded over a shared love of West Ham, and Ampika has been pretty vociferous in her defence of this via her socials last few days)
2. That Krentinsky is here and influencing the process after two f**k ups by Sullivan in hiring.
Just maybe the 'lady could be for turning'?
4.) 24 Sep 2025 09:36:57
NOT of utmost importance to Kretinsky 1.5% of his total wealth is invested in WH, he has intervened to save his small investment being wiped out, principally by Brady, who’s ideas where influencing Sullivan too much
HE is a million miles more astute than Sullivan, personally I would like to see him take the club over, which he could do easily
IF WH drop clubs value sinks below the radar, presently 8 /5 to be relegated
5.) 24 Sep 2025 12:11:22
Come on lads, we need a CEO and a Director of Football before a permanent appointment of a head coach. Ain’t going to happen though.
6.) 24 Sep 2025 14:42:15
Exactly Tin it ain’t going to happen! So we have to make do with next best and try and get a decent manager which probably ain’t going to happen either!
7.) 24 Sep 2025 18:56:04
We aren't going to get anyone decent let's face it no manager worth his salt will want to work with the squad we have they will just end up leaving with a tarnished reputation, we have missed loads of opportunities to kick on, the board have proven time again how inept they are and they way they treat people is disgusting, welcome to wear ham Mr dyche!
8.) 24 Sep 2025 19:33:10
I can’t disagree with that but much as I would like them to sell up and P.O they are not going to.
I really hope you are not right regarding Dyche. Nuno ain’t a great long term bet but he’s got to be better than that c**t

We need to talk about Pablo!
Whilst I appreciate his tireless hard work which has been important in many games, his lack of ability where it counts is becoming a real issue. I know many have said put Wilson in from the start, I’m not sure that is the answer. He is undoubtedly a far superior striker and player but is really incapable of putting himself about especially early on in games and feel he is much better brought on when defenders are more tired.
The only game he has started and scored in was Bournemouth away, I think. I personally would start with Adama in Bowen position and put Bowen in the centre with Tatty. I’m just not sure Nuno goes that left field……
1.) 03 May 2026 18:56:56
Waste of 20 million will be sold to a Championship club for 5 mil in a couple of years. Falls in line with our usual business, though, to be fair.
Call me old fashioned, but I like my forwards to score or create goals. Pablo does neither.
2.) 03 May 2026 20:26:19
I watch him and the others doing shooting practice before the games at the LS, and you can see he is so much more inferior than all the other forwards and midfielders. Not sure where they get the YouTube footage from, it must be AI.
3.) 03 May 2026 20:39:05
Dunno if true or not, but I heard a rumour he was dating Nuno's daughter, which would explain a lot.
4.) 03 May 2026 21:59:45
Wow, that sure would explain it.
Football wise, I think he was getting away with it before, because Tatty Summerville and Bowen were scoring. Now they have dried up a lot, his limitations are much more noticeable and can't be accepted.
26 Apr 2026 12:30:56
This is one Joyful may possibly know the answer to.
With Brady gone (good ?), who now deals with signing personnel? I think most importantly Paco and Disasi?
1.) 26 Apr 2026 14:07:04
I think if we stay up, we will be bought and revamped from the top down.
2.) 26 Apr 2026 15:27:20
Hammer D, obviously not relevant at present, mate, but Sullivan signs everything off.
Nothing is completed, in any way, shape or form, without his express permission and consent.
Don't let anybody tell you different.
As of yesterday Kretinsky has not yet completed purchase of Gold shares, Sullivan is in sole charge, as normal.
Despite lots of internal talks with Nuno, in our present position, no players for the future have been rubber stamped.
Which is totally understandable.
The proposed takeover talks only went first round, again because of the situation.
I think it's fair to say the whole situation is on ice until season's end.
Can't see that changing.
3.) 27 Apr 2026 23:06:57
Cheers for the info, Joyful.
4.) 30 Apr 2026 18:39:07
Sullivan will 100% not be West Ham United owner next season if rumours about are true. ⚒️??⚒️
16 Feb 2026 18:43:03
Macclesfield or Brentford at home good draw ?
1.) 16 Feb 2026 20:11:04
Can go far into this cup. Normally would be happy to but priority has to be staying in the prem?
Knowing our luck we go on to the final, lose and also get relegated on goal difference ?
2.) 16 Feb 2026 21:23:54
It’s looking like Brentford who won’t be easy, but definitely beatable as long as he doesn’t pick the same side as Saturday!
I think Wigan won it the year they dropped
31 Jan 2026 18:09:46
Have to say I think we have been brilliant so far. As much as Pablo may not have the quality of Paqueta he more than makes up for it with his effort. AWB has been brilliant. Let's hope we can hold onto this
1.) 31 Jan 2026 19:47:26
Note to self never post until the game is over
2.) 31 Jan 2026 20:31:52
Hammer-D, don’t reproach yourself, everything you said was right
31 Jan 2026 14:59:59
With Ortega going to Forest and Nuno's obsession about bringing in a new keeper I'm surprised he is not sniffing round Matt Sells the Forest reserve keeper as he played under Nuno at Forest and was really good last season
{Ed001's Note - Sels is first choice mate. He was only out as he got injured and Victor filled in well. But then Victor picked up an injury which ended his season, so Sels is back in.}
1.) 31 Jan 2026 18:02:26
? Cheers ed001 I just assumed ortega would be going there as #1
{Ed001's Note - ah right, yeah he might end up taking the shirt I suppose. I hadn't thought of that.}
04 May 2026 17:17:28
At least Tripp Smith did invest his own money and didn't charge the club interest.
04 May 2026 16:58:43
Is Daniel Kretinsky any better? For sure, he has been less meddling and more professional than the shoddy pair called BS. But he is culpable, as he has invested none of his own money into the club to help us out. At least Trip Smith. Kretinsky will just be looking to take money, not invest.
05 Apr 2026 22:29:12
Hammer 7580, I believe Danial Kretinski could already buy out Sullivan. So why doesn't he? Whilst he is not such a vile and despicable individual as Sullivan is, he is equally useless in putting in money to help with our issues. He hasn't put money into Sparta Prague or so I understand it.
15 Mar 2026 06:04:05
Thankfully no need now. When at the game last night, during the "sack the board" singing, a few fellas started singing something else which virtually explained the possible allegations. After you said it was not linked to money, it only left one probable type of rumour, which it was.
My neighbour in the ground put a bit more meat on the bones. All quite grubby! Thanks for the heads up, I suppose it's a case of watch this space.
14 Mar 2026 15:58:27
Cheers Peter, maybe I will have a look on Twitter, but I tend to avoid that pit of vipers.
05 May 2026 12:01:56
I'm not sure about Frank, as I have mates who are Spurs fans, and even early on in his reign, when they were not doing too bad, they said he just sets the team up with an objective of not to lose, which is exactly what we had with Potter, Moyes and Nuno.
I would give Paco a try. He definitely raised the team spirit. Could you imagine Sullivan and Bielsa working together. ?
04 May 2026 10:11:22
I'm not sure he would stay. I feel the main reason for our demise is the chairman at the top, and I think, while he is still there, no matter who the manager is, we are doomed to failure.
I have stood up for Nuno for most of his time here, and I am not going to completely contradict myself, but he does have to shoulder a lot of the responsibility. I personally just object to it being said that our current position was all his fault, and to ignoring some of the decent stuff he did. I think he at least got us a functional midfield and a pretty good defence.
Without dissecting individual games where mistakes were made, it was that period of 6 easily winnable games around Christmas where we took 1 point from 18, points-wise, what has doomed us.
If he decides to go, or is axed, so be it; it isn't totally undeserved. Many have mentioned the impact of Paco on the team, and it definitely matches our upturn in form. And that does have relevance, so maybe give him a shot at management in England.
Stevie, I loved Scott Parker as a player, and maybe he would be a decent manager for the Championship. The problem comes if we were to get promotion, as he has been a disaster with Burnley and Fulham, so I wouldn't want him managing us if he got us promoted, and it's difficult to sack someone when they have done that.
03 May 2026 21:59:45
Wow, that sure would explain it.
Football wise, I think he was getting away with it before, because Tatty Summerville and Bowen were scoring. Now they have dried up a lot, his limitations are much more noticeable and can't be accepted.

03 May 2026 20:17:55
I'm not watching it, but the stats are that Villa have zero shots on or off target. ?
