Hi Joyful.
I know you tend to keep yourself to player dealings but I wondered if you have any info regarding DOF. Like most, it has seemed like a great week and a real feeling that we are almost rid (or will be soon) of most of the rotten apples at the top. But we are hearing a lot of talk, much of which I’m sure is either true or we hope it is true. But hearing on other sites that we had a done deal for the former Newcastle DOF only to hear that this is not happening.
I don’t want to start the old pessimism again but all the stuff about DOF, player retention, Coach re-hiring, new stadium, new training facilities. None of this is actually set in stone or done deals. We are used to getting our hopes up only for them to be dashed. We’ve generally stopped believing anything coming out of the club. Do you think things are genuinely different this time?

The news seems to be getting even better as it seems Sullivans' kids don’t want to play any role in West Ham and Sullivan will be selling his shares. If this is the case, I suppose DK buys them. Some of us have been critical of him for not actually helping West Ham financially in the past.
But I would be much more happy knowing the Sullivan dynasty no longer have anything to do with West Ham. At least DK will try and run the club in the proper modern way in which most teams in the upper echelons do. Rome wasn’t built in a day but if true this is great.

KRETINSKY said he wouldn't put no money in while SULLIVAN was majority shareholder he's a very quiet man we've basically not heard a peep out of him in 2 years but he's a very powerful man hopefully he buys the predator out otherwise amanda shelvey is very interested how true is this please Ed?? ⚒️⚒️⚒️
{Ed001's Note - Staveley has been interested in a while, but she stepped away after finding out about the programme. She didn't want the issues for her clients which may stem from it as Sullivan would not sell up completely then. Knowing her, she will be back now to step up in with an offer to buy him out. She wanted a full buyout of his shareholding from the start, as her and her clients want a majority shareholding.}

Thank you for your response and Information. ? ⚒️ ⚒️ ⚒️

Has anyone heard any rumours regarding the board about to crumble? I watched a video on another site and they were quite guarded about what they were saying. Rightly so as if the info would be false then I imagine the club could take legal action. So I wouldn't expect anyone to put their neck on the line or say anything that could cause this website issues.
But what they would say is that in the next couple of weeks the whole house of cards is going to come tumbling down. I just wondered if others had heard anything similar or if they knew if there was any thrush in these rumours
1.) 26 Feb 2026 12:13:06
It's probably connected to the public release of the club's annual accounts. Allegedly, they are a disaster.
2.) 27 Feb 2026 15:41:43
I thought they were due to be published today, which I've heard are a disaster. But also read that Brady is not leaving, so probably yet more false nonsense generated to get the hopes up.
3.) 27 Feb 2026 17:29:11
She's leaving.
4.) 01 Mar 2026 05:42:13
Why have we got Hermansson in goal? It's clear Areola has upset turkey teeth.
5.) 01 Mar 2026 16:11:37
Ewell56, Yes, why did we have Hermansson in goal? Areola is far superior, imo, despite what other posters think on here! Nuno bloody baffles me. I don't rate him at all, and I'm glad to see the back of him when & if he eventually goes.
Everything crossed for Wednesday. Chance of some point(s) there to catch up on Forest, who are away to City. Hopefully not much for Forest there, so 3 points could see us out of the bottom 3. ? ? ? ? Coyi ⚒ ⚒ ⚒ ⚒
6.) 05 Mar 2026 07:20:30
Hermansen played a blinder last night.
7.) 05 Mar 2026 10:47:03
I think everyone was convinced we were going down a couple of months ago. At least there is some hope now.
8.) 05 Mar 2026 11:26:16
Morning, TL. He played really well, and is certainly a more calming influence on the defence. He was the only one to keep a clean sheet as well.
9.) 05 Mar 2026 14:07:15
Afternoon, Dabber. I am an Areola fan, but I must say that those two saves Hermansen made last night were simply superb. Maybe he just needed confidence? He certainly looked a safe pair of hands. Well played, lad.
10.) 05 Mar 2026 17:12:28
CheezyQuaver, interesting login name. I worked for Smiths Crisps from about 1971 to 1974 as a van salesman, as we were called at Smiths for the launch of Quavers. I am now 81. ?? ⚒⚒⚒⚒
29 Jan 2026 21:00:22
According to C&H Disaster is signing on loan till the end of season! Oh well by all accounts he is dreadful but I suppose we have to hope he turns out to be not so bad. A bit like what happened with Dawson. But somehow I doubt that.
1.) 29 Jan 2026 21:13:28
He was a shoe in, first WH where the only club, to pay his wages in full (78k a week ) , and second it’s the other side of London
Danger here is if he plays well? and we stay up, WH might be tempted to buy him, hhmmmm, we shall see how this develops, we, must not make pre judgement's
2.) 29 Jan 2026 21:38:03
I recall him being quite good at Monaco around 2022-23. Stood out in a few of the Euro games I saw. Don't know what's gone wrong at Chavski but I hope he can get back to that Monaco form for us
3.) 30 Jan 2026 08:54:15
Not enough game time kills, footballers full stop
25 Jan 2026 08:28:49
I know this topic has been mentioned before and nothing will change before the end of the season. But looking beyond this season, we have talked about our skipper issue and the general consensus is Bowen is no skipper and of all the names mentioned Souchek seems the most obvious but is not a certainty to start each match. With the last two performances and especially the first halves and the absence of Paqueta I would argue Fernandez has emerged as an excellent choice.
I know he is only young, but feel he has maturity beyond his years and if we miraculously avoid relegation and we stay up I would argue it would be a potential carrot to get him to stay at the club and build the team around him. Because the big clubs will be coming in for him at season's end.
1.) 25 Jan 2026 15:48:41
Tobido
2.) 25 Jan 2026 18:05:08
Mac I thought you didn’t like Todibo
3.) 26 Jan 2026 06:02:44
I don't but he would make a good captain

Hi Joyful. Do you have any intel on the supposed DOF role. I have read on other sites that Nuno will play a major part in employing this position which sounds counterproductive. Whilst I think the DOF and the manager have to be able to have a working relationship you can’t have a situation where an employee chooses his own personal boss.
This will just mean it is DOF in name only. And should we expect a number more of Jorge Menendez specials coming through the door. Please no more Pablo’s.
1.) 01 Jun 2026 18:40:07
Oddly enough I was gonna ask the same.
This Scott geeza from the Boro was pushed our way by Salthouse, and no approach has been made by us.
I tell you, they've gone on holiday and the clock is ticking!!!!
2.) 01 Jun 2026 20:08:23
Fail to plan, plan to fail.
3.) 01 Jun 2026 20:13:41
No info at present, Hammer D, sorry. All I know is there is no definite target, as the powers that be seem to be split on this one. It will get sorted, but we need to get busy.
4.) 01 Jun 2026 22:55:44
Cheers, Joyful. imo it's important it's not a Nuno choice.
5.) 02 Jun 2026 08:00:55
Cheers, Joyful. Get busy? This is West Ham, and we never do anything early.
We must surely know by now which players we are selling and which we are not, and we must have an idea of who we are after as director of football, but in true West Ham fashion, no urgency to give Nuno a proper pre-season.
6.) 02 Jun 2026 16:23:12
The transfer window isn't open until 15th June, Phil, so can't do much at the moment, but hopefully won't be as slow as usual. It's no good playing 3 or 4 games and then trying to make signings.
We are fishing in a lot smaller pool now without the lure and wages of the Premier League, and we will be playing more games this season, so need a bigger squad.
7.) 02 Jun 2026 18:58:02
Window doesn't open, but deals have already been done elsewhere, to be announced 15 June. No need to wait for a couple to leave. West Ham have deposit monies, need to start moving, we have a little, but need to start player ins pronto.
Wolves, Burnley, Boro have their teams at 95% readiness. Soton and a few others are at 80%. It's very difficult to create a team quickly, but if we don't, you can forget any chance of getting back next season. We cannot give others a head start.
8.) 02 Jun 2026 19:47:30
Absolutely joyful. Although we can't sign them yet, deals in principle can be agreed.
Tabloids report we are weighing up a move for Harrison Burrows (Diouf?). Also, this midfielder from Troyes (Fernandes replacement). Interest again in Stassin (replacement for Bowen?).
Taty may be staying?
9.) 02 Jun 2026 20:47:01
We never do anything quickly. We will wait until we sell, it's what always happens. No reason that won't change now, so I doubt they will make deals until they sell unless it's frees.
Of course, it's fun reading stories about the 100 odd players that we are linked to all window, but these never happen either.
We all know what needs to be done, but the board never do, sadly, which is how we have ended up like this.
11 May 2026 22:08:20
Great result. Leeds shame they didn’t get the win, but that’s decent.
1.) 11 May 2026 22:28:17
Gave me hope again when, after I checked and it was Spurs winning 1-0, I had settled my mind that we were down. Twists and turns, and hopefully more to come, with us ending on top!
2.) 12 May 2026 05:57:56
I have been saying for the last month that I think we will win our last 2, so just hope I'm right. ? Really glad Leeds didn't just roll over like Villa did. I'm sure they won't against us either.
03 May 2026 13:20:10
We need to talk about Pablo!
Whilst I appreciate his tireless hard work which has been important in many games, his lack of ability where it counts is becoming a real issue. I know many have said put Wilson in from the start, I’m not sure that is the answer. He is undoubtedly a far superior striker and player but is really incapable of putting himself about especially early on in games and feel he is much better brought on when defenders are more tired.
The only game he has started and scored in was Bournemouth away, I think. I personally would start with Adama in Bowen position and put Bowen in the centre with Tatty. I’m just not sure Nuno goes that left field……
1.) 03 May 2026 18:56:56
Waste of 20 million will be sold to a Championship club for 5 mil in a couple of years. Falls in line with our usual business, though, to be fair.
Call me old fashioned, but I like my forwards to score or create goals. Pablo does neither.
2.) 03 May 2026 20:26:19
I watch him and the others doing shooting practice before the games at the LS, and you can see he is so much more inferior than all the other forwards and midfielders. Not sure where they get the YouTube footage from, it must be AI.
3.) 03 May 2026 20:39:05
Dunno if true or not, but I heard a rumour he was dating Nuno's daughter, which would explain a lot.
4.) 03 May 2026 21:59:45
Wow, that sure would explain it.
Football wise, I think he was getting away with it before, because Tatty Summerville and Bowen were scoring. Now they have dried up a lot, his limitations are much more noticeable and can't be accepted.
26 Apr 2026 12:30:56
This is one Joyful may possibly know the answer to.
With Brady gone (good ?), who now deals with signing personnel? I think most importantly Paco and Disasi?
1.) 26 Apr 2026 14:07:04
I think if we stay up, we will be bought and revamped from the top down.
2.) 26 Apr 2026 15:27:20
Hammer D, obviously not relevant at present, mate, but Sullivan signs everything off.
Nothing is completed, in any way, shape or form, without his express permission and consent.
Don't let anybody tell you different.
As of yesterday Kretinsky has not yet completed purchase of Gold shares, Sullivan is in sole charge, as normal.
Despite lots of internal talks with Nuno, in our present position, no players for the future have been rubber stamped.
Which is totally understandable.
The proposed takeover talks only went first round, again because of the situation.
I think it's fair to say the whole situation is on ice until season's end.
Can't see that changing.
3.) 27 Apr 2026 23:06:57
Cheers for the info, Joyful.
4.) 30 Apr 2026 18:39:07
Sullivan will 100% not be West Ham United owner next season if rumours about are true. ⚒️??⚒️
16 Feb 2026 18:43:03
Macclesfield or Brentford at home good draw ?
1.) 16 Feb 2026 20:11:04
Can go far into this cup. Normally would be happy to but priority has to be staying in the prem?
Knowing our luck we go on to the final, lose and also get relegated on goal difference ?
2.) 16 Feb 2026 21:23:54
It’s looking like Brentford who won’t be easy, but definitely beatable as long as he doesn’t pick the same side as Saturday!
I think Wigan won it the year they dropped
20 Jun 2026 11:53:14
I think the window has only just opened, and it's difficult buying when we are not certain who is leaving.
We also need to see if all the recent really good mood music coming out of the club is genuine and not the same old empty promises just coming from a different person. I have to say I'm hopeful.
19 Jun 2026 19:11:18
Just seems like classic agent behaviour. Palm off a pile of rubbish on a manager who hasn't done due diligence and done everything on trust.
19 Jun 2026 10:27:09
That would be great.
18 Jun 2026 10:34:31
Is that the Argentinian fella we tried to sign 2/3 seasons ago? If so, he looked a decent player (on YouTube), but a few years on now? And, if he is still decent, can you see him coming to a Championship outfit? I'm not so sure.
17 Jun 2026 17:57:14.
I think he would be decent. He's a proper Jonny on the spot striker. Just a shame he can't play much more than half hour.
I would hope we would get a main striker and back him up with Wilson, Marshall and Ajala. I've heard Cummings ain't up to it.
19 Jun 2026 19:04:33
Can't see what harm it would do. He always worked hard for the team and loves the club, so yes.
11 Jun 2026 06:52:21
In all honesty, Phil, with all that has happened, it's hardly surprising that all the other stuff hasn't been organised. We haven't bought anyone, but apart from our loanees I don't think anyone has been sold either.
Maybe with Sulivan gone, we might actually have someone in charge who won't just decimate the squad for a few quid, and maybe not as many players will leave as we expected.
10 Jun 2026 13:35:12
Very true. ?
10 Jun 2026 11:35:28
Good comments D4W and Ed001. Without wanting to drag this sordid affair out, I did watch a really good concise short 7 minute summary of the situation by Geo on Hammers chat. He covered virtually everything by talking about what can and can't be said and whilst many may look at this as a storm in a teacup or nothing to see here.
It's not necessary what we did learn from this but what we didn't hear and what could well follow.
{Ed001's Note - the fact he was banned from interacting with youth and women's teams at West Ham in 2023 should be more of a concern than the programme! It should never have been covered up by the FA if they felt kids and women needed protecting from this vile predator. Disgusting that he wasn't forced to sell up under those circumstances.}
09 Jun 2026 05:34:00
Well, one did suggest rape, and that is illegal. She didn’t use the word, and wasn’t the most convincing, but I said no and he continued. It is rape. With Savile, there had only been various rumors, and most people knew he was a wrongen, but not to the extent until after the documentary was shown.
Brady! Good point.
{Ed001's Note - there will always be a lot more, but they can't put anything in the TV show that the lawyers feel they could not prove - which would mean anything like rape, which is the hardest crime in the world to prove.}
