Not sure if this is common knowledge but just seen that Liverpool are considering moving in for Tim Steidten as their head of recruitment.

They've agreed a deal with XABI ALONSO tot ake over at the end of the season when KLOPP goes so guess who is next on the hit list especially as the DIRECTOR of FOOTBALL is also leaving? If our let lose him because of our sheer incompetence during transfer windows, then am done with these clowns

It’s one of the many issues with Moyes. For me it’s not all simply about the ultra defensive formation he sets up as, it’s stuff like bringing our youngsters through. As poor as we have been and with a small squad he has hardly ever given any of the youngsters a chance. Probably fearing they make a mistake. Well sadly that’s the only way you learn. And even if that were the case so many of the established team have made mistakes or played poorly…….
If I was a youngster at West Ham with Moyes in charge I would be straight out of there, no question. To quote Jonny Rotten, ‘ Nooo Future, Nooo future………

Regarding Borja I agree with Billy. I think he is totally overrated. The other week Chelsea scored 5 or 6 goals in one match. He was playing as centre forward from the start of the match, and didn’t score one or even an assist.
I think he would also be a total Moyes type player and one small hope is that we didn’t go for him because hopefully at the end of the season we may be a Moyes-less zone ?

Spot on Whorya.
Now that we are buying a lot of new players I am bemused that people are quick to want to get rid of players, who generally did pretty well last year but have started this year poorly. Getting rid of these players would leave us with a small and poor squad. The big issue is we need a good size and quality bench. If we were just going to react to this season so far then Bowen would be first out the door as he has been poor.

I am not sure I agree with that. The last overseas manager we had wasn’t too hot and he had won the premier league. There are many managers UK and foreign who have both been an immediate success or failure who have no premier league success. My feeling we have to be bold and hope TS has a potential up and coming manager in mind. But most importantly we need to give a new man time for his ideas to start to work. The new Bournemouth manager looked like a complete disaster after the first 8 matches but they stuck with him and he has done a great job with limited time and resources. Think how Wenger completely changed the old Arsenal set when he first arrived.

With respect merc I don’t think you are right in relation to football focus as even though they haven’t featured the whole team but have had articles about West Ham players. They had one about Zouma on Saturday and I’m sure there were some last season
I do agree they sidestepped the Phillips pen and a lot just rubbish our fans opinions of DM virtually without exception I did actually see someone agree with the fan’s criticism recently but can’t remember who it was
