Chelsea now make formal enquiry Fernandes, they asked the following. Have WH agreed any deal? No! The answer, would WH inform them of any concrete offers? Yes, the answer, that’s it.
Nothing from PSG at all despite talk
Only my opinion, but I personally would discount Arsenal from this, they believe they are well stocked in that position, and rate the player around £35 m, which is not going to happen
I do not believe for one moment WH will get £85 m for the player, but I do believe £65 m is at least possible, which in one fell swoop is more than half of sales requirment, it looks likely that Diouf, Summerville and Bissaka will be gone, that will fill the funds,
There will be more leaving than that, but with the parachute Money coming in,WH should have sufficient to build a team again

I reckon, because of the interest, £25m for Diouf, £35m for Summerville, maybe a little more, and £15m for AWB.
We then have Tobido £20m, Soucek £10m, Mavropanos £20m, and maybe Bowen, who there is also a lot of interest in, maybe £40m, which totals £90m.
A little optimistic maybe, but if we have Hermandsen, Kilman, KWP and Scarles, we need another CB at least.
Midfield, we got Potts, Kante, Mougassa, Earthy.
Up front, Taty.
So we will need one CB at least. Striker and wingers... and one or two play making midfielders.
And a DoF.
02 Jun 2026 21:12:24
If Marvo and Todibo go, we would need 3 new CBs minimum.
35m for Summerville would be bad business, as would 60m for Fernandes, who has more to his game than what Rice did at his age. Statistically, he's similar to Elliot Anderson, who is 2 years his senior.
Fernandes, Todibo, AWB, JWP, Alvarez should cover the best part of the debt.
KWP is a more intelligent footballer than AWB anyway.
Plenty of young, decent players in the Championship, but we need to get a move on with a DOF, and Sullivan needs to stop his meddling, but that won't happen.
03 Jun 2026 11:12:44
Taty will go for sure. Pablo will be good, I think, but we defo need someone else alongside him, backup, rotation.
03 Jun 2026 11:34:23
Relying on Pablo as our main striker would be an incredible risk. If we keep him, he should be 3rd choice striker.

Juventus and Villa, have now enquired re Fernandes
Contrary to Rumours no enquiries have been made by PSG or Chelsea ( not as yet anyway )
IF Sullivan let's this player go cheap, he needs to be shot Joyfull

Villa can do one after they threw the game against spurs.
100m price tag needs to be slapped on Fernandes, but the slimy dwarf has no balls, or sense.
02 Jun 2026 07:56:30
Half of Europe want Fernandes, so stick a big price tag on him and stick to it.
01 Jun 2026 15:42:13
Fenerbache come in for Bissaka, they will certainly pay more than Everton, if the player wants to go to Turkey?…….. Joyfull.

Free Agent James Bree from Southampton is attracting WH
German Jokers Eintracht Frankfurt, made an enquiry for Magassa on Saturday, then come back with bid for £8.5 m. WH replied no thanks, if I remember correctly he cost about £14 m.
But I suppose WH are going to get a lot of silly bids. WH need to show a serious side on sales, then the nonsense will stop …… Joyfull

Agreed, joyful. Teams think they can pick up cheap bargains, and it's likely Sullivan will take it. If they want our players, make them pay for it.
01 Jun 2026 11:46:51
Napoli, Inter Athletico, Arsenal, are all now chasing for Fernandes. WH would be seriously mad to allow ManU to steal him for £52 m.
Whichever way you look at it, WH must maximise this sale, as it is the key money maker they have. Others will bring in funds, no question.
But this is the main one. With all these clubs chasing, WH are under no pressure whatsoever. £65 m is the minimum they have been advised to take; they should also insist on minimum 50% up front, and two seasons maximum for the balance ………. Joyfull

I would agree, start at 65mil - I generally believe in a few years' time he will be one of the best in the world.
If we then can bank another 30mil for Summerville, that's pretty much what was needed this summer in terms of money coming in on transfers.
01 Jun 2026 14:54:25
I thought we should be aiming to get 70-80m.
01 Jun 2026 14:59:49
But we know Sullivan will rather sell cheap, so he doesnt have to put any of his own money in. Also, generally, what would be the point in selling Summerville for 30m. 5m more than we paid, keeping a player of that level ensures youre in with a chance of coming back up, which is worth a lot more than a 5m profit on a player, considering Gordon is going for 80m, who I dont think is as good as Summerville.
Same goes for talk of Bowen to Chelsea for 40m. We are just as bad at selling players than we are buying, maybe worse. I cant see Bowen kicking up a stink to leave, and Id be saying to Summerville, get us back up. Unless a team in Europe/Champions League comes in for 40-50m, then fair enough.

I think once we finally get our house in order (director of Football in, players finally sold and bought), Wolves will be the team to chase cause they are already doing some sound business and already a long way ahead of us.

Fernandes, Man Utd are right on this, Wh have already pushed away two lowball bids
Now they have moved up to 50 m from 40 m, and are offering a player or two on top of, or part of a deal.
Wh can get more without p/ex, and just what players are they going to be for the championship?
On the other hand, Man Utd have youngsters, see if it goes anywhere.

I think, as you state above, cash plus players wouldn't be a bad idea this summer, as long as the players offered can do the job in the Championship, and potentially in the prem in future. From Man Utd, maybe that young left back from Paraguay, Diego Leon. Shea Lacey is an interesting player.
30 May 2026 10:51:33
See what they come up with?
WH Hope someone else will come in with big money, to make a bidding competition for the player, that's a possibility, and will stop WH getting tempted too soon.
30 May 2026 21:33:35
Arsenal are very interested in him as well.
30 May 2026 23:45:22
Grab Nwaneri off Arsenal. Would be happy with that. 😀
30 May 2026 09:28:33
Ziotkowski. Bit of a mouthful, Cb Roma, fancied by Wh... Roma thinking part of a deal taking Summerville to them?
P/ex. Looks bit unlikely to me.

At this time, cannot verify Nuno's new terms. It is believed he is on a similar deal to the last (with the same break clause). His wages have been cut, but he is on a promotion bonus that, if we do return the first season, would bring his wages back to premier par, so he has been incentivised to do well
Let’s be clear, I am no fan of Nuno, and a lot of your arguments make good sense to me
However, I did not see a queue of superstars, banging on the door.
The alternatives were, realistically, either just two people, or take a gamble on an unknown
Let’s see how it evolves, WH cannot afford in reality to stay in the championship for more than two seasons and if Nuno doesn’t perform, he will be gone pronto

The print up for panorama on Monday, is about maternity as listed?
29 May 2026 13:43:29
Oops set Sky to record it, as a father of 4 teenagers maternity has long past its interest for me! 😂
29 May 2026 22:00:18
As I said, just after Christmas. This is nothing new. Panorama have been trying to release it for a while. A certain post on a social media site was used to delay it previously. He is an old hat at this, and the Panorama team have to get everything right. It will come out, but there is certainly a battle on.
