Internet terrible, here, Jaques Ekombi lb Angers WH lining up a bid for £5 m. It will fail. Angers want 10 m euro. Reiss Nelson play half dozen games, watch rest of season from sick bay……Essugo. This is all about Chelsea not WH.

Depends on how they see it, not a good position for WH. Can’t see Bowen going after two games, who. Could blame him if he did,

Get back if and when I can?

I know we are playing tonight, please put a summary on here for me regards Joyfull.

Will do joyful.

I got to say what's worrying is that normally when a club knows it has issues there is normally frantic movement to try and fix things, but the only player I've been hearing about is Reiss Nelson, all but done?

Diouf all but gone. Magassa, Palace are also chasing. Tobido, no more news, and pressure is mounting on Nuno.

25 Aug 2026 16:45:56
Joyful, you may well be right about Nelson, but his injury history is not as bad as made out. Since February 2023 he has missed 28 games with a hamstring injury, 3 games no information, 4 with a knock and 3 with a calf injury. Hopefully he stays fit as a very good player on his day. Joyful, enjoy your break.

25 Aug 2026 20:20:43
Ekomie is off to Wrexham. No dice there.

23 Aug 2026 20:58:28
Joyful may be able to shed some light on the following rumours.

Sudden surge in rumours linking Bowen with £50m move to Palace?

Ethan Pinnock wanted for leadership.
Victor Nailson of Galatasaray.

We want 2 defenders, then will loan Casey to Stevenage.

Want Essugo of Chelsea on loan.
Luke Chambers of Liverpool if Diouf goes.
El Hadj Mbodgi of Slavia Prague being looked at.

Most advanced move Reiss Nelson is agreed with player. Not sure if it’s loan but he is likeliest next signing.

Reiss Nelson! Someone with similar injury record as Fulkrug. Great. As if things couldn't get any worse.
I would like to hope this isn't true, and if it is, I think it will show the head of recruitment is obviously out of his depth and is basically a stooge who has been put in place to placate the fans, but doesn't have any qualifications to do the job.

24 Aug 2026 09:54:22
I think Joyful is away this week, Mac.

24 Aug 2026 12:46:01
Bowen is going nowhere. I doubt Pinnock is of interest, and I think you mean Victor Nelsson. You could be right, but I doubt it. He has been playing in Serie B, and the team never took up the option. But who knows what is happening? Certainly not me.

24 Aug 2026 17:04:00
I literally don't care who we sign and who goes now. Until this fraud of a manager goes, it won't make any difference anyway. Let Bowen go; he's far too good to be hanging around an awful team playing terrible football anyway.

Reiss Nelson, perfect replacement, is terrible with a horrendous injury record. Welcome to the first team, don!

24 Aug 2026 17:50:56
No, Mac, is right, they are unbelievably still interested in Reiss Nelson.
It's one thing that many of the players we have bought are on the old side, and Solomon has an iffy injury record, but it's not a patch on Nelsons.

24 Aug 2026 19:03:36
As Joyful would say don't shoot the messenger. Reiss Nelson deal all but done, apparently.

22 Aug 2026 18:30:30
To make matters worse, after these two games, players are going to be very wary, about coming to WH

From the final whistle of the old season, WH drew up a list of players they wanted in, they already knew who was, Leaving as did we all, there was 10 players on that list maybe a whole team without Gks

NOT ONE of those players Were bid for or chased nothing, just a patchwork pick of a few people dotted in If you get shot of so many people. and more are going this is the result, a few in then Multiples out this is the result

Getting late in the day to change things For me sheer negligence, vanity FROM NUNO because he won this league, however with a much better team than current WH

there's. No instant solution unfortunately, there's been weeks and weeks to put it right, just ignored,

Yes WH have massive debt, it will get a lot lot worse if we stay in this division. This is an unforgiving league as WH are finding out now

What knowledgeable person.can possibly think that five players in can take the place of so many leaving?

They did at WH There now finding out the truth

We are in exactly the same position, possibly worse than the last 2 seasons, when they kept managers who either should not have been employed in the first case (Loppy). The same could also apply to the next 2, but at the very least they should have been sacked at season's end.

22 Aug 2026 22:58:18
Unless Nuno goes now, this season is a write-off. 5 points dropped in 2 games, he is a fraud, no tactical nous at all.

23 Aug 2026 05:30:36
Redrobbo is spot on.
We have another old has-been manager standing there, dumbfounded, about as threatening as a flaccid old sock.

Whoever our recruitment pick is seems to be living in the past & is not aware of the needs of modern football. Speed, athleticism & balls. We get flimsy sticks...

Whatever Brentford are doing, they continually pick players that hit the ground running. They crushed Spurs, absolutely pulverized them.
Not always pretty, but it works.

Nuno took us down with this last year. How is he still here?
I can't wait for the Kretinsky & Sullivan era to end.

23 Aug 2026 06:02:57
There are actually a couple of decent managers out there at the moment. Whether they would want to re-enter the crazy world of football for a basketcase like West Ham is another matter.
Eddie Howe and Kieron McKenna are available.

23 Aug 2026 09:19:38
Eddie Howe to rebuild and take us forward.

I blame Nuno for all these problems. Recruitment, whilst sparse, has been comical. Let 11 players go and bring in 5, whilst doing nothing about a porous defence.

Tactics are slow and outdated. Had enough already of this.

23 Aug 2026 09:28:50
I think Eddie howe maybe out of reach for us but McKenna is perfect for where we are at the moment, I know he said he wanted time away but surely he would be excited by a project like ours?

The Ruzz exactly right a few of us have said all summer we need pace and creativity yesterday showed why, don't get me wrong I think what we have signed so far is ok but it just isn't enough, I've never rated the midget in goal areola is miles better, kilman is a non event and mavro is likeable but average, scarles has regressed and so has kwp

23 Aug 2026 10:37:13
Yup, entire defence needs overhaul.

22 Aug 2026 11:47:50
Olympiakos have now contacted WH re Alvarez, what’s in their favour, is they have some funds unlike some of the other clubs that want him. We shall see.

I've been reading that we are or have been keeping tabs on Harvey Elliott. And that we may be looking to get him end of window. Does anyone know if this is true? Be great if it was.

23 Aug 2026 09:24:01
It's doubtful Nuno or our board are that ambitious. Just opting for as many free transfers or loans as possible to save money won't work

I said fans would turn if we lost to Charlton, and sure enough.

22 Aug 2026 09:45:19
Nelson Deossa, Betis cm, player posted about couple of times before, WH are still interested, and he’s an ideal player for them

Just maybe too late now to get him in, physically dominant, not shy in front of goal either.

We havnt got anybody similar, except Kante, who’s not quite there yet.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Aug 2026 09:24:24
If can get him for nothing, ideal.

21 Aug 2026 19:03:31
Is Haji Wright injured, not in Coventry squad. 🤷

21 Aug 2026 20:24:07
Out for minimum 3 months.

21 Aug 2026 17:18:37
Magassa linked with Palace. 🤷

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Aug 2026 18:07:35
And he wants to join seemingly.

21 Aug 2026 14:07:06
I see we’re interested in the Rangers defender Emmanuel Fernandez.

21 Aug 2026 16:34:13
Rangers want 21m minimum, can't see the board sanctioning it tbh.

21 Aug 2026 18:07:55
Try 21p lmao. 🤣 😂

20 Aug 2026 17:50:12
TROY PARROT, I previously said I would post what actually happened with this player, there's a lot of people that are not going to like this post, but it's 100% true and giving the dates as follows

I take no credit for anything, I just repeat some of what I hear and this is not intended to upset anyone. but this is what happened. For those who don't want to believe. Fair enough Doesn't matter to me

On July 29 th WH made a telephone enquiry to alkmaar re this player, they asked if he was available answer was possibly depending on the price involved what fee are you thinking about say WH, around 25 m euros say alkmaar
WH we only value this player at £15 m ( pounds )
Alkmaar, start with a bid, and we will go from there
Ok say WH will be in touch

I first heard this on next day 30 th july, thought wait until WH make a bid then I will post, NO BID happened So on Saturday 1 st August. I posted WH made an enquiry for Troy parrot at about 4 pm, (this was the first mention of this player anywhere ) I. Sure the Ed's on here will verify that

The next day I WAS ASTONISHED. That every single ITK Every news outlet Was reporting WH had made a bid for Troy parrot Worse sky sports news, had it on the TV
This went on for days then weeks Just COMPLETE
NONSENSE there was absolutely no truth in any of it WH never returned never even made one formal bid

Never went back to Alkmaar No direct contact again
Never spoke to agent never spoke to player

Now parrot is signing for Betis, WH could have bought him if they wanted to BUT they didn't

So I said I will be back with the post, 100% true, some sites still going on about it,?

TROY PARROT was NEVER. coming to WH

Who knows maybe another time?

Doesn't surprise me. Smoke and mirrors.

20 Aug 2026 20:10:45
Smoke and mirrors. Anything to save money, not what's best for the club.

It's quickly being realised, penny pinching anywhere they can. Loan signing from City. Loan signing from Leeds, meanwhile they offload our players, even our youth.

What have things come to, where all we target is the bargains and freebies?

Thanks, Joyful. Much appreciated to hear some honest, down-to-earth facts.

21 Aug 2026 06:34:32
This is just so grim. I really thought we would strengthen up for this Championship campaign and steamroll the league. It turns out my original thought, towards the end of the season, may come true, that we will do a Leeds and be down there for a long, long time.

21 Aug 2026 07:08:27
I'm surprised that you didn't get a backlash to that comment, Whitby, but it's pretty clear you're right.

This all sounds so familiar to times when we were in the Premier League. We beg, steal and borrow players every window to save money, whilst clubs around us strengthen sensibly, bit by bit.

21 Aug 2026 07:14:07
Parrot may have taken a while to adjust to the champ. 20m is a lot to sit and wait when we have just done that on Engels. Good call, for me. We know what we are getting with Piroe.
We aren't the 21st prem club; we are a champ club aiming for promotion.

21 Aug 2026 10:43:59
Didn't get backlash because it was sent at 6am, not because people agree with it, Mac. I'm with Moleman on this one. I'm happy with Piroe, a proven Championship goal scorer. There is still time to get more players in, fellers, and we are only 1 game in. Some of you really need to be more glass half full than glass half empty all the time.

21 Aug 2026 13:33:41
I agree, Dabber and Moleman. Piroe is a much better signing for where we are now than Parrot, whose goalscoring record in English leagues is awful. Piroe did well in this league, and even better did it with Soloman in the same side. Piroe is a good, sensible signing, if you ask me.
