Mac said I would be back with the submitted bids story. Nuremburg did not recieve a £17 m bid for player Ali Zoma from WH. Gorgoza, Italian player currently injured, no formal bid was made by WH

No question enquiry for both players was made, but there’s no record of any proper bids.



Nuremburg are neat well run div 2 club in Germany. No bid of 20 m euros would recieve automatic no, didn’t make any sense.

In the past, the suggestion has been made that the club itself makes false noise about bids in order to excite supporters and enhance season ticket sales, hence 'smoke and mirrors'. It might be wrong, but I read we bid for him 3 weeks ago, and he didn't want to come, so we went for Engels. As I said, it could be sloppy journalism, but I am happy with Engels in the team.

Morning all. I don’t know how many goals in front we have to be so I can relax. Even at 4-2 I was a nervous wreck, but we should have one of the strongest midfields in the league when you think Orford, Magassa, Alvarez and Soucek have all got to come back. Why Orford was left out last night I still don’t know.

I still think we’re light up front and not a lot of pace in that department either, as Pablo and Piroe are not the quickest, but then we do have Ajala on the bench. Let’s hope we can go on a winning run as we need consistency.
