Toni Fruk, WH are trying to negotiate a January deal for the atm of Rijeka. His contract expires June 27. So the Irons want a cheap deal, good player
Notice that two or three sites still banging on re Troy Parrot. Don’t know or care where these people get there information from, read the truth.
WH were never involved with Alkmaar, nor the player nor the agent never ever happened after the first enquiry, give it a rest, find something else to witter about
Parrot did not choose Betis over WH, Irons never even made a bid, forget it, just enjoy our current well being

Point to bring up, regarding Sullivan. On paper he is recording big losses in his property portfolio, overall he’s down 30%.
So maybe he might let some shares go, maybe not all but some?
1.) 07 Sep 2026 18:58:33
You really think he would?
Nahhhh, he is too greedy. He will hold on and hope we get promoted and then sell up.
2.) 07 Sep 2026 19:21:23
Of course, unless he gets a margin call on his folio, which is overextended.
3.) 07 Sep 2026 20:53:16
He only loses when he sells in the current market. He has enough reserves to push him through.
4.) 07 Sep 2026 21:34:41
Does he?
5.) 09 Sep 2026 11:21:17
There's too much coming out from people close to Sullivan for there to be no truth in the rumours he wants out. He's also panicking over a rumoured government change to income tax.
Like all narcissists, he won't be able to handle playing second fiddle to anyone. Gone by the new year, but will be laughing all the way to the bank as Staveleys group will pay top dollar.
6.) 09 Sep 2026 18:34:51
Capital gains.
7.) 10 Sep 2026 19:06:35
I'm less bothered about tax issues than that he's on his way.

One that slipped the net last Sunday, WH made an enquiry for Max Aarons RB Bournemouth, who had spent the last couple of season out on loan
As this had been the case, and apparently the player was willing to, WH thought a loan with option to buy would fit perfectly
Not so Bournemouth.
Would permit a loan, but only with obligation at seasons end, no fee, but obligation £10 m plus addons.
WH saw it as option only at £5 m, so that brought the conversation to an end.
04 Sep 2026 16:48:22
More total rubbish foisted on WH fans
£45 m bid for Castellanos. If WH recieved a bid like that, he would have been sent in an Uber immediately.
Just silly.
There were a couple of enquiries for the player, weeks before no offers above +20 m plus addons, which was of
No interest from WH.
WH could have bought two quality forwards for that money, makes no sense whatsoever.
No formal bid from any club.
03 Sep 2026 21:35:52
Agency have related another story to me,
Schjelderup, the Norwegian young winger playing for Benfica, was offered to WH last Sunday.
Portuguese wanted 5 m euro loan fee as the player had a 100 m euro buyout clause in his contract.
Hmmm, if the player is so good and valuable why loan him out, having just bought Austbo, it was turned down anyway.
1.) 04 Sep 2026 10:04:04
FootballTransfers.com has his value at 10 to 13 million euros, so maybe the 100m was Norwegian krona.
2.) 04 Sep 2026 10:43:54
No, it's his somewhat overvalued buyout clause in euros by Benfica.
3.) 04 Sep 2026 11:38:04
Crazy!
4.) 04 Sep 2026 11:42:02
He's a quality player. Something not right with that price.
5.) 04 Sep 2026 11:53:09
I've just posted what happened, if his loan fee had been reasonable. Might have happened, but it was always seen to be a dry loan.

Last week I said Kante wasn't a forward! What a finish great reverse pass from soloman who deserved mom.
The team more relaxed Now, mavropanis on the line clearance was the moment, it went our way
Outstanding display all round.
09 Sep 2026 22:19:42
Well WBA are now in top spot! Doesn’t matter, stats in recent years prove 1.9 points a game gets you promoted, or should do, we are on course, good enough
Have too see how things evolve, very early days.
1.) 10 Sep 2026 15:35:57
Long, long way to go, yet joyful. Marathon, not a sprint. I think, as the season goes on, we will get stronger.
2.) 10 Sep 2026 19:03:54
I'm a tad happier than I was after the first 3 games.
09 Sep 2026 09:35:14
Looking back, what did we learn from last night?
We stuck it out, made the game very difficult for ourselves, managed to turn it round to get the win.
Kante is a good player but he’s not a forward.
Austbo has much to learn at this level.
Bowen has different class passages of play.
Mavrapanos blows hot and cold, but easily best defender.
Kwp, big question marks on him.
Engels showing his touch now.
Scarles shaky moments but done well.
Kilman average ok but very slow in defence.
Soloman needs to keep it simple, get more direct.
Piroe cannot make the Premier League.
Hermansen is a good gk but his height is a worry; he’s just too small.
Mukassa needs to play in his correct position.
Orford decent, reliable, steady.
Veltman did ok, as did Morata.
Pablo, are you kidding, must be blackmailing Nuno; shockingingly bad player, must be dropped.
Did I miss anybody? Overall we did well to get the win but we must control games better from the off.
1.) 09 Sep 2026 16:54:08
Great summary, joyful, and demonstrates that there are a lot of changes that need to be made if and when we go up.
Defence always looks shaky, and worries me whenever teams have a go at us, so we gotta start there.
2.) 09 Sep 2026 17:51:39
Nuno needs to sort this defence out.
08 Sep 2026 20:55:15
WH if they want promotion have to tighten up at the back, far too many chances given away, tbh that wasn’t a penalty either IMO.
We just cannot play like buccaneet style up and down the field, it’s suicidal.
Up till now what is the point of Pablo, he’s done nothing, but these games are exactly what I expected, it’s a difficult job promotion.
1.) 08 Sep 2026 21:50:16
True, but at least we are getting some entertainment.
Poor old Pablo was awful, his touch is soooo poor.
2.) 08 Sep 2026 21:52:16
At least he seems to have stopped parking the bus when in the lead.
3.) 08 Sep 2026 22:05:03
Just what is it about Pablo? I just don't get it. Not even if he's doing an old mate a favour or if Pablo is shagging his daughter. The bloke is useless and contributes nothing. These apologists can try and point out that he's important to the team, but bloody hell! Just watch his performance and contribution.
If you're seeing something different to me, please let me know what drugs you are on. I'll give them a try.
4.) 08 Sep 2026 22:10:40
Pablo has got to be one of the worst striker signings ever. He is woeful, not even sure he is League 2 level. Dreadful player, makes my eyes bleed!
5.) 08 Sep 2026 22:24:30
Still think we'll win this league comfortably.
6.) 08 Sep 2026 22:37:12
Not defending like that, we won't, sorry. Bolton make a game out of nothing over crap, marking, and allowing the ball to run free. In the first half, defenders were too slow on second balls. In the second half, we sharpened up; that was the difference (that was no penalty either).
Whilst we can score goals, you cannot rely on the attack scoring 3/4 every game to win it, never going to happen. We were far too lax at the back in the first half, it was much better managed in the second half.
7.) 08 Sep 2026 22:41:26
WTD, I've made a comment re Pablo time gone past, I played and later managed conference level team.
There is no way he makes that team apart from harrowing.
He contributes nothing, he should have been sent out on loan somewhere, anywhere!
I do not understand what people see in him, I'm mystified.
8.) 08 Sep 2026 22:48:39
Very entertaining and hard fought win away on a wet Tuesday in Bolton. These games are always going to be the tough ones. Nothing to complain about from what I saw.
9.) 08 Sep 2026 23:44:51
Tough? It was Bolton Wanderers, not Barcelona! On form alone, we should have eaten them for breakfast. Yes, three points in the bag, but we made hard work of it. On performances like that, we're going to struggle to get promoted.
Our defending was woeful at times, and we're fielding a team of nine players, a character from Snow White in goal, and a striker who has no idea what to do when he gets the ball. ?
10.) 09 Sep 2026 03:41:13
It was good to see that we didn't shut up shop after going one ahead, and Mavropanos looked like his confidence was returning. Also, the new players looked promising. I think, as I write, we are top of the table. COYI!
11.) 09 Sep 2026 06:27:42
I think we were lucky that Bolton really went for it, and fair play to them for doing so after losing 4 on the bounce.
There are quite a few positives to take.
Bowen finding more form and his shooting boots.
Most of the new players are doing well, Engels is now starting to play. I thought the 2 new youngsters had poorish games.
3 points.
Top of the league.
Negatives.
The defence.
KWP was very poor.
Scarles was poor, with really poor crossing, but I thought he came into it more.
The centre backs were their shaky selves, with the odd decent moment. The keeper did okay, but is too little.
Most of the rest were good and bad, unfortunately with the exception of Pablo, who is totally out of his depth, and it stuck out like a sore thumb.
You could be right, Brooking, but far too early to make a statement like that. If we win our next 2 league matches against Wrexham and Millwall, then you may have a good shout.
12.) 09 Sep 2026 06:47:24
That's a pretty fair assessment overall, H-D.
I still think it's way too early to make predictions, which effectively mean nothing anyway. Maybe we'll have a better idea of where we'll likely end up around January time. In the meantime, we should take each match as it comes.
13.) 09 Sep 2026 10:34:14
Yep, agreed, Tin. We have definitely got out of jail a bit some of the last few games. But we've got the points so don't want to be too negative for a change. ?
14.) 09 Sep 2026 11:15:17
There's nothing wrong with being realistic. We have problems with our wingbacks and the height of our goalie. Kilman is also a problem. I think Mavro will settle again and improve. ??
Pablo is useless.
Apart from that, we've the makings of a decent side. Fact. Might as well admit the obvious and not bury heads in sand.
07 Sep 2026 09:19:04
Interesting line being leant of last night.
You may recall the semi satisfactory loan of Bissaka to Villa. He’s there for the season, with agreements that are unlikely to be met on the option. It could have been a dry loan in reality, boiling down to the fact if he has a less than a satisfactory season he’s returned.
There was a reason for this. Nuno wanted him out at the first possible moment; the reason: massive disruption with the other players and in the dressing room.
Whilst players like Todibo, Fulkrug and Alvarez gave their own amount of aggravating problems, they trained on their own and didn’t cause issues with the main team.
Not so Bissaka; players were consistently complaining to Nuno about him, so action was taken.
If Villa return him at season's end, Wh will have to move him on if he retains that attitude, as his contract doesn’t expire until 31.
Shame is he was a really good player for us, not that long ago.

No, it's his somewhat overvalued buyout clause in euros by Benfica.
09 Sep 2026 18:35:56
Nuno has cast out Areola, a poor idea.
09 Sep 2026 17:51:39
Nuno needs to sort this defence out.
09 Sep 2026 14:59:12
Defence is the problem. Hermansen just looks small. He's a decent keeper, I just prefer bigger keepers.
