The Moore deal was rejected by West Ham, as Spurs wanted "guaranteed starter if fit" status for him.
West Ham refused.
And yes, his family are Millwall fans. They have, however, followed their son's career and become avid fans of the clubs he has played for.

Never going to happen, since then, Antonio has trained with a few clubs, Leicester, Gillingham, Colchester, maybe more, now with Charlton

IMO Antonio was a fantastic servant to this club, but he had already gone way past his best before he had his car accident. He showed great determination to recover from his injuries, but it would be a miracle if his previous level of fitness and skill had returned.
I don’t know what details were in the club’s offer, but it was obviously magnanimous of the club to make him any offer. He decided he could do better elsewhere, which is his personal choice. It remains to be seen if that was a good decision. However, everyone wishes him well.

Brooking, people tend to overlook the fact that the damage on Antonio’s car was allegedly consistent with an impact speed of 60-70+ mph. The speed limit was 40mph at that location and he was alone in the car, with no other road users apparently involved. The driving conditions were described as poor. Antonio said his speed was about 30-35mph.
I believe he was involved in another serious RTA in 2019, but I might be mistaken. Campbell remains the only man to have broken both land and water speed records in the same year. Sadly, he was killed on Coniston Water, I think in 1968. Thankfully, Antonio was lucky to escape with his life and nobody else was injured.

Have to take Tins side here ( not the Campbell comment) but we all love Antonio and obviously don’t want to see him hurt himself. But I I get sick and tired of footballers driving their high powered cars way too fast and often in normal side streets. He crashed his previous car into a front garden in South Woodford some time previously. He completely totalled these people’s front gardens obviously speeding.
What if a kid had been there and got killed. That day he crashed the weather was absolutely horrendous and he must have been doing some speed to have the accident he had. I know i'm probably sounding like a killjoy or prude but use your high powered cars where it’s okay to do so. Sadly I feel the same way about Gakpo it’s a shame he died but you live by the sword……….

I have been sat here for the last two months reading all the posts. What I cannot get my head around is that we get 62000 plus each home game so where is all the money going?
Other clubs with smaller crowds seem to be able to buy all and sundry in the transfer window. We cannot buy players who are going to warm the treatment table all year false economy we need to buy young hungry players wanting to improve.

I believe we have a board that milks the club and, unlike other similar owners, it does not give money to the club, but it loans money to the club at an interest rate which only benefits the board. In other words, the club is a cash register for the board.

I believe the financial clout of STHs is overestimated. Say 60000 capacity at a generous 80% sold at an average (pure guess for easy math) of £750 is £36M annually— barely a player these days.
Now corporate hospitality and ad-hoc ticket sales obviously increase this along with the store revenue and tv income. But I imagine wages are the largest expense eg paying Danny Ings et al for nothing.
Not saying the board and shareholders may not put themselves first but given the increase in wages and player purchase costs the proportion that ticket sales generate probably have been markedly reduced.

Yesterday was the worst performance I have ever seen by a West Ham team and I have seen many bad games over the years.
I don’t care who is the manager at present they would all struggle to get a tune out of this lot. Whoever was involved with recruitment last summer should hang their heads in shame.
Yesterday as normal our back four had the most touches during the game enough said.
We didn’t press, create chances and some of the substitutions were mind boggling.
The hardest thing in the summer is moving some of these players on, anyone on loan should be sent back to their parent club not good enough at this level.
PS let’s cut out the snipping at each other thought we all supported the same team!

Hermansen could do nothing about those 3 goals in all fairness to him, raya would not of got near that first goal, penalty for the second and a good flick for the 3rd.
As I have said before you could put the best keeper in the world for us and he is going to look dodgy behind that defence, he is on a hiding to nothing and yes he could improve but the 4 in front need to improve a lot.

Yet again I didn't see the game as I was out having a drink and it wasn't on in the pub. But from what I have heard Killman played very well especially 2nd half, nobody was complementary about Hermadson or Tatty. And this was coming from people that have absolutely ruined Killman in the past.
So maybe Parker can get this lot to defend better. Hopefully the message to take is that Parker managed to get a reaction out of the players that Nuno wouldn't have been able to do and I would say attack is the best form of defence. I'm sure he will drop Hermadson as he bought Areola when he was at Fulham.

Yes you can blame nuno. Yes terrible defending. But it was a shooting gallery at times those three forwards are worse than useless you cannot rely on non forwards to score on a regular basis full stop.

Well the useless tactics are the problem. I saw Tatty v QPR and today both games he was dreadful but 1, he isn't a striker and 2 playing him up front on his own is hopeless. Peroe has hardly had a chance. Solomon has been awful of late but it is well documented that Peroe and soloman have teamed up to score many goals in the past until he comes to westham and Nuno in his wisdom rarely has them on the pitch at the same time.
He is useless and needs to go but he won't because the board hope we might just scrape promotion. We play like the pre match meal is tranquillisers.

Soucek starting is an awful suggestion. When he plays, there's a big hole in our midfield because the inside of a dustbin lid is more creative. All Soucek does is run around and throw himself at the ball which every now and then results in a goal. A waste of a shirt for 90 mins.
His best contribution is to be brought on for the end of any game.
I didn't see yesterdays game, so I can't say who played what, but I can comment on the team selection and substitutions. They indicate Nuno is clueless and needs to go. He won't though. We can't afford it.

This may sound stupid but if he ( Souchek) is to play then play him as a striker yes Joyful you are right he can put the ball in the net. But otherwise as Tin said you get a gaping hole in midfield with a lot of endeavour but the term headless chicken springs to mind. Nuno also took off Kante who was our best player. Yes we have strikers that don't seem able to put the ball in the net but we are by far the top scorers in the division, and have the best goal difference.
From what I have seen so far I don't think this is a tough league.
Southampton are one of the better sides we will play and in parts they were good yesterday but we made them look good. The only tough thing is the fixture congestion, and that is the same for every team, and we are better placed than most to deal with that. Nuno's tenure is constant succession of a few games good, ( hopes up) to nonsensical changes and few games bad (hopes dashed). The only thing that brought any stability last season was playing Disasi.

Well today was a very good result. We ground out a good away 3 points. The team is still not firing on all cylinders at present and are still sitting second in the league so improvement still to come.
Strange to take kante off today and keep Solomon on who was way off the pace today.

Joyful we play tippy tappy at the back so other teams can get back into their shape. We play as 3 separate positions (backs,midfield & defence) with wide open spaces between us that teams have exploited.
Hoping Parker can tighten things up. Love to see Orford just sitting in midfield tidings things up as Engle and Mukasa are more forward thinking. Can't expect to much difference tonight but boy do we need a win. COYI.

I thought Scarles got roasted last night. He needs time away at a div1 or 2 club. I think, I read somewhere that when Mav and Kilman have played together, we have never kept a clean sheet, and you can see why when watching. A wins a win and hopefully another on Saturday against Derby. COYI.

It is not the stadium that makes the atmosphere but the players on it. The last few seasons, the football has been poor. I was at our European nights when it was rocking.
