Hearing Paqueta to be sold in Jan. He wants a return to his homeland but so far only interested party there wants a loan with option. Also interest from Milan and Juventus but again they don't seem to want to put the money forward for him.

Personally not a fan of him as i hate the showboating and the amount of times he loses the ball but the next 6 months i reckon he will play well to try make the brazil squad for world cup. So i would keep him. Play centrally with a double pivot behind of fernandes/magassa/potts (2 of 3 then you get 1 from the bench too)

Unlikely Sullivan will buy more players, without selling some, it’s just who and when ?

29 Dec 2025 10:58:47
Nuno to be sacked if we fail to win next game. Bilic already spoken to about taking the role on a 6 month deal with a 2 year deal if we avoid the drop. We are getting desperate.

ChrisB05

1.) 29 Dec 2025 12:08:13
He may, be able to get us out of trouble. But keeping him on the next 2 seasons would be a disaster IMO. Here we go again absolutely no long term strategy.

2.) 29 Dec 2025 12:24:46
Here we go again. What happens if we win the next game, but lose the one after? Or draw? Bloody ridiculous.

3.) 29 Dec 2025 14:18:21
Can see whoever does come in if we replace Nuno to be on a 18 month deal with a relegation break clause

4.) 29 Dec 2025 15:41:18
Chris, Sullivan doesn’t work like that. It’ll be until the end of this season, extendable if we survive.

5.) 29 Dec 2025 17:20:44
Sullivan doesn't have much bargaining wriggle room currently! Itll be same kind of deal as Potter

28 Dec 2025 12:26:27
Guillerme close to move to Sporting in Portugal. Permanent move, going to end up being a big mistake. This kid has the attributes to be a star just needs a run of games to show it. don't be surprised in the next few years he moves again for a fee north of 50mil!

ChrisB05

1.) 28 Dec 2025 14:36:40
TBH I’m not so sure about that, it’s a gamble, a few people have to leave, so decisions have to be made
, one way or another

20 Aug 2025 11:20:11
Rumours we may be bringing in lindelof at Centre back cover. Imo awful signing but he is seen as low risk due to being free!

ChrisB05

1.) 20 Aug 2025 12:23:34
Lots of fans out there have no confidence in this board doing anything in this window

2.) 20 Aug 2025 13:03:06
And what we have done hasn't even improved what we had, the new gk is crap areola is a better shot stopper, kwp is just a squad player, diouf at the moment is not better than Emerson and callum Wilson is finished and people wonder why fans have no faith and are negative

3.) 20 Aug 2025 13:31:34
Exactly Redrobbo. It's a shambles. The entire summer to do business and they expect us to believe the latest "multiple bids in" BS.

Hear the same every window. Focus is on midfield but we need a striker with pace have they forgot

4.) 20 Aug 2025 14:11:33
I disagree, I think Hermansen and Diouf have improved the squad. Mads had little to no time to train with the defenders, Emerson hasn't been the same since our 2023 Europa win. KWP adds pace and cover which is needed. Hopefully we can add at least 2 midfielders soon.
Agree Wilson is not really what we needed, but low risk contract for when he inevitably gets injured.

5.) 20 Aug 2025 16:27:30
IS YOUR REAL name Yorkie Sullivan ?

6.) 20 Aug 2025 17:20:34
Have to agree with Robbo the keeper was at fault for the 1st and 3rd goal Saturday. I don’t know how tall he is but looks like he needs help covering the goal. He may come good but a disaster of a debut and shouldn’t have been put in the team so quick.
Diouf looks alright at crossing the ball but defensively looks suspect, again could Come good. But we should be playing Scarles but as usual our managers talk about playing youth but drop them like a stone. If Scarles isn’t playing left back or left wing back I would see if we can play him in Aguerd position as he seems disinterested and an accident waiting to happen….

7.) 20 Aug 2025 18:37:31
Yeah started off with excellent save, that was it, totally correct on goals 1 and 3, can’t see Areola conceding those

8.) 20 Aug 2025 19:05:36
Maybe not but Areola gives away silly mistakes which lead to goals and can’t use his feet. Not fair to judge Hermansen so negatively after only one game

Question time - If we are to survive in the prem and you could move 3 players from the current squad (excluding those already out on loan) who would you choose?
And what 3 incoming would you like to see.

For me, Todibo has to go.

In turn, Disasi would be a nailed on incoming for me if we survived.
I do still think another interchangeable attacker needs to come in - someone like Jonathan David who can play up top, just behind and also wide.

ChrisB05

1.) 23 May 2026 15:20:51
I think, even if we survive, we will lose Summerville, Fernandes and probably Bowen.

3 I want to see gone are Tobido, Fulkrug and Cornet (and let's not forget Kilman).

I'd like us to get Charlie Cresswell and Harewood-Bellis. Two good young cbs.

2.) 23 May 2026 16:39:15
Charlie Cresswell is a good shout, but I think a lot of other clubs are gonna be interested. We may have missed the chance last summer.

11 May 2026 22:27:15
My mate just called the end of season like this -
Chelsea beat Spurs
We beat Newcastle
We are 1 point ahead.

Last game of season, Spurs are beating Everton and we are drawing with Leeds until 92nd minute when Bowen smashes in a winner!!!

Let's hope so. All we can do is win our last 2 games and hope for the best.

ChrisB05

1.) 12 May 2026 06:59:14
One more bit of good news that may have passed by unnoticed, at least Millwall ain't getting promoted. ? They always bottle it at the play-offs. That's not to say we won't be playing them next season.

2.) 12 May 2026 14:01:43
We will be. ? ? ? ?

3.) 12 May 2026 15:29:15
ChrisB05, Think your mate read too many Roy of the Rovers comics as a kid. ? He should put a tenner on those results coming good, would see him a few quid to the good. ? If only. ?
COYI. ⚒⚒⚒⚒

4.) 12 May 2026 18:17:31
I still think we are gonna win our last 2, Chelmsford. I have got our last 3 results right, but I doubt my run will continue. I think a lot depends on Everton and Chelsea, and if they have anything to play for, and obviously us getting results.

5.) 12 May 2026 18:41:13
HammerD, I love your optimism, mate. I really do. ? & why not? Anything can happen, it all depends on your opponent's position in the final part of the season. I have resigned myself that we are now down, so nothing can be worse, but my daughters are distraught at the thought of relegation & still think we'll stay up, I don't!
Spurs, imo, have a far better squad but COYI.

⚒⚒⚒

6.) 13 May 2026 16:05:16
I think we missed a huge opportunity at Brentford. Ok, we can look at the entire season, but that one weekend swung the pendulum for Spurs, who were low on confidence, couldn't defend, couldn't score, and had injuries to key players.

They went to Villa and won, and that was the catalyst for them. I think they'll beat Chelsea and Newcastle will beat us.

7.) 13 May 2026 16:20:33
Bloody hell, mate. Could you be any more negative? We've played better in the last 2 games than Tottenham have, despite the losses. Plenty of Newcastle fans are hoping they lose on Sunday. Tottenham, alongside Liverpool, have stopped them spending the money.

8.) 13 May 2026 18:44:24
Mac, I think most teams seem to have a snobby attitude to teams like Brentford. We seem to look at them through the lens of history. They are a bloody good side and a well run club with a good manager.

We were unlucky the first half, but got battered the second half, and I think overall it was a fair result and a fair reflection of our relative positions.

9.) 14 May 2026 09:35:26
I was speaking to a Spurs fan yesterday who said he thinks they are in the poop. He thinks we'll win both our games and they'll struggle to get a point from both of theirs. We have to remain optimistic until it's mathematically done, Mac...

10 May 2026 00:23:42
Can see 2 changes for tomorrow's game - Pablo and Diouf out for Todibo and Wan-Bissaka with Walker Peters moving to left back.

ChrisB05

16 Apr 2026 23:13:45
Palace lost both Lacroix and Wharton to injuries tonight... Both likely to miss our game with them. Great news as past their first 11, they don't have much depth.

ChrisB05

1.) 17 Apr 2026 08:28:21
And they were allowed out on the lash last night in Firenze. So only Sat and Sun to recover for us.

If Spurs lose tomorrow, Monday is a season-defying, must-win match.

2.) 17 Apr 2026 09:41:01
Take your meaning, but whilst mathematics are there, there is no safety, as you are aware. Just got to do our best come Monday, Joyfull.

3.) 17 Apr 2026 12:13:28
We've got to do our best to win every game. ??

4.) 18 Apr 2026 12:16:15
Totally agree with you both. If we treat every game as a must win game, hopefully it will be enough. Relegating Spurs at the same time would be the biggest bonus as well!

5.) 18 Apr 2026 13:43:40
Dabber, we should treat every game from the start of the season as a must win game. If we did, maybe we wouldn't be in this position now, depending on other sides to lose. ??⚒⚒⚒

6.) 18 Apr 2026 14:41:29
I don't want to get ahead of myself here, but if Arsenal fail to win the league, Spurs get relegated, and we manage to stay up, it's gonna seem not too bad a season compared to how it looked in early January.

7.) 18 Apr 2026 15:44:43
Hammer, don't want to be a spoiler, mate, but that's like "What would you like for Xmas". I tend to be a bit of a bore, mate, as I only try to deal with reality & not "ifs or whats". I tend to think of the worst scenario, then if that doesn't happen, then happy days! We all have our wishful thinking, of course, that's natural, but we all learn in life, there's no real certainty in sport no matter what.

??⚒⚒⚒

8.) 18 Apr 2026 16:29:48
I think most of us are pessimistic. It's just like our club tune, and, like my dreams, I, like others, totally agree that it's all about what we do and we should concentrate only on that, but the way the fixtures fall this weekend, it is difficult not to focus the mind more on the Spurs result than our own.

Spurs win, and I will be back to my morbid self. ?

Good game, the team work so hard for each other. Feel like it was a positive letting Paqueta go tbh! Feel Disasi has made a massive difference at the back, both Mavro and Todibo look better alongside him.

Thought Kante in the middle gave us something different and played really well too. Don't see what the fuss about Mayers is though if I'm honest. Loved Pablo and how hard he works for the team.

ChrisB05

1.) 10 Mar 2026 16:59:06
You must be watching a different Ezra Mayers to me. I've yet to see him put a foot wrong, and he's not in his best position either.

2.) 10 Mar 2026 18:11:37
We can agree to disagree, but he looks nervous defending, looks unfit, and offers nothing going forward. He gets the ball and gives it to the left centre back. Positioning is suss too.

3.) 11 Mar 2026 13:22:42
I agree with you, ChrisB. Incidentally, your username could be mine. I'm also a Chris B, and my favourite number is 5. ?

4.) 11 Mar 2026 14:41:49
Mayer looks a Championship player at best. His distribution is appalling, and he never wins a tackle.

5.) 11 Mar 2026 15:33:22
Early days. Give the lad a reasonable chance.

6.) 11 Mar 2026 21:06:09
Will, of course, give him a chance and will always support whoever is picked to play... Just stating my opinion on him from what I have seen so far.

I think until they solve the director of football issue, it will be slow. Also, throw in a World Cup, which has always made the transfer windows drag anyway. I think it could very much be a 1 out 1 in kinda summer, which is very frustrating, and it means we will kick off in 9 weeks without having the full squad.

Changes will happen during August again after a few games, leaving it too late and giving new players no pre season with us.
Think we will start the league campaign struggling if im honest unless individual moments can win us games (if we keep Bowen etc).

@Whorya, I was watching the same games, mate.... The ones he had 10mins here or there, and I didn't see much. I have also watched the U21s games, and yes he stands out because of his physique - he doesn't then have that advantage v men. I get your point, hard to impress in those few minutes, but also, in my opinion, it doesn't make him a must keep.

If a massive profit can be made on him, then I don't think it's something to straight away turn down and must be considered. I would prefer to see Fearon given minutes if I am honest anyway.

Personally I don't see what most are seeing in Kante. Whenever he came on in Prem, he didn't exactly set it on fire. Also, everyone says we need to copy Brighton/Bournemouth model, well surely this is it? Turning a massive profit on someone who has barely played would be good imo.

I think it depends on what they can get for him. If it's 15mil, then he will be sold - which is fine if we can find another rough gem.

I would agree, start at 65mil - I generally believe in a few years' time he will be one of the best in the world.
If we then can bank another 30mil for Summerville, that's pretty much what was needed this summer in terms of money coming in on transfers.

We have apparently taken up the option on Lamadrid - the Venezuelan winger we had on loan since Jan, and he made 1 first-team appearance and another 4 in U21s. He was training with the 1st team, so it looks like Nuno has seen something in him.
This is the summer for any academy players wanting to break through to take their chance imo.

Players like Mayers, Scarles, Fearon, Potts, Kante, Earthy, Marshall, Casey, Ajala, Golambekis, Herrick.... think if they don't push through this season then when will they ever?

Exactly what the programme was titled - a predator that used his money and status to force women to do things they didn't feel comfortable to do. A few will say oh they knew what would happen etc but that is wrong!

Get this disgusting man out our club now!

Think that now the decision to keep Nuno has happened, they are trying to get his coaching team locked in - talks ongoing with Paco to stay. Also, pushing to get a director of football in, and that's when we will see some kind of movement, but unfortunately outs will have to happen before incomings.

Dan Cummings has been awful for the u21s - doesn't even get a game most of the time. Would much rather see Ajala get game time up top, and also don't forget Marshall returning from loan unless we sell him.
Golambekis and Myers at the back, too.
