Because of our precarious position, I decided to temporarily stop posting, about WH thoughts for next season
As there's a massive difference, between, the two leagues financially
What's become apparent, however, is that free agents, are becoming more than attractive to WH, given their financial state., which will continue, wether we survive or not
Julian BRANDT, of Dortmund mdf, has spoken to the club, along with 3 other premier clubs
I heard that, Mr Sullivan, has just. sold some holdings, privately of course, at a Big loss, maybe not much for him, but liquidity was required, so its becoming clear that at the present time, and set up He alone will not be putting up the, £120 m required to level up, the clubs needs, neither will Vanessa Gold, their family, does not want to invest further,
This leaves only Kretinsky, the sum involved for him is small, it's just wether or not he wants it
Rights issue, maybe? Savage player sales maybe? IN truth WH can't afford to be relegated!

Taras Mykhavko, Defender. Dynamo Kiev is on the radar of Wh, but many others are watching
Mateus Fernandes! Although much has been made of interest coming from Man Utd, which is true, it is in fact Arsenal, who are now asking for first refusal, both clubs from Milan, have also enquired
Joyfull.
1.) 12 Mar 2026 12:09:11
I think Mateus Fernandes will play for a big Champions League team eventually. It would be great to keep him another year or so, but that would depend on staying up. I see him going to City to replace Bernardo Silva, tbh.
2.) 14 Mar 2026 19:26:31
Why would we give anyone first refusual? He has more to his game than what Rice did at his age. I wouldn't sell him for anything less than a 100m unfortunately the drawf will likely do anything to avoid investing his own money.
We don't need another rebuild, hold on to what we've got and a couple of smart signings and we have a team capable of finishing top 10 maybe Europe.
10 Mar 2026 20:20:29
Matt Selz Forest G k. Will leave Forest if they are relegated?
WH if they survive, will be interested.
1.) 10 Mar 2026 22:50:12
I'm just glad we didn't get Kinsky after his performance for Spurs tonight, we don't need another keeper, the two we've got are doing ok.
2.) 11 Mar 2026 09:24:24
Problem being that Areola wants to be number one.
This is a problem if we manage to stay up.
If we go down, it's likely Hermansen stays, Areola goes, but it is impossible to forecast.
Joyful.

Cesare Cassadeii, former Chelsea, bomb squad member, purchased by Torino, last summer for £13 m MDF. Now under review by WH.
Should WH survive, they may be looking to make a bid. Chelsea hold a 25% sell on clause.
Joyfull.
10 Mar 2026 12:00:05
Two clubs, Villa and Napoli, have asked Wh for the equivalent of first refusal, I (whatever that means) if they decide to sell Summerville.
Joyfull.

Well Brady’s has gone, she won’t be missed, been on the cards for a long time.
If we stay up, points to a DOF coming in? She has no shareholdings as such, so no changes there.
Her interference and insistence appointing the useless Potter got us into this position today.
She alone changed the course and path of WH, much for the worse.
Sullivan was a weekend away from appointing Max Allegri, enough said, I’ve explained all that before.
Goodbye and good riddance to Brady.
Joyfull.
1.) 21 Apr 2026 12:40:20
Can we organise a leaving do? But just don't invite her to the party.
2.) 21 Apr 2026 12:49:36
The timing is quite weird. You would think it would be a case of leaving at the end of the season, not with only 5 games to go. Unless she is worried that if we get relegated, she can distance herself from it. And, as you say, some of her choices are the reason we are in such a dire situation.
20 Apr 2026 21:59:12
That’s how it’s going to be, we played well enough but lack of firepower up front.
Let’s move on.
1.) 20 Apr 2026 22:42:39
We can't rely on Pablo for goals. He'll never score as long as he has a hole in his bum. To be honest, as I've said before, I think he's a waste of a shirt.
2.) 21 Apr 2026 09:02:25
Agree with that, but for now, we have what we have. Is it enough?
They are all difficult games coming up, no question we look well sorted, play some decent football. Summerville and Bowen, just not quite there.
Firepower is where we are lacking, Joyfull.
3.) 21 Apr 2026 18:00:38
It's pointless talking about what we have or don't have. The important thing is How Nuno uses what we do have. I don't have faith in him as a coach.
20 Apr 2026 08:29:07
The team do not need telling, there’s a cup final to be played every game
Cannot rely on others, getting no points; the weekend showed that
Equally, Forest and Spurs won’t win all their games either
After 21 games we had 14 points, now we have 32 and have a realistic chance of escape
Need to give it our best shot and hope for luck and providence to go our way, starting tonight.
Joyfull
1.) 20 Apr 2026 10:37:08
Agreed, but the team selection and tactics Nuno decides on have a bearing on tonight's game. I hope we play a 4-4-2 and go for it, but Nuno's track record indicates he might play a 5 in defence, foregoing one of our forwards. We'll have to wait and see, but we're all agreed - this is one we can't lose. ??
2.) 20 Apr 2026 18:15:06
I feel we have to win this one tonight. Sure, it's not the end of the world if we draw, but can't entertain a loss, or else the pendulum swings back in Spurs' favour even if we are ahead of them in the league.
I feel reasonably confident we will win, but we need to perform like we did in the 2nd half v Wolves, not the first half.
3.) 20 Apr 2026 18:47:28
De Zerbi is trying to apply pressure by saying Spurs will win all of their remaining games!! Considering they have to go to Wolves, Villa and Chelsea, with Leeds and Everton at home, it's a very bold claim. Even if they were playing well, that would still be a tough run in.
18 Apr 2026 19:37:51
Get out of jail card there! Up to us now. We must get something Monday night. Joyfull
1.) 18 Apr 2026 20:34:21
Yup it's up to us now. Spurs at Wolves next, and they will be fighting for Premier League survival.
2.) 18 Apr 2026 21:16:39
Mac, I think it best to say that one will be a Spurs win. So we need to win on Monday to make tonight's game really count!
3.) 18 Apr 2026 22:54:51
Wolves win at home but lose away. They will want to put the boot into Spurs.
4.) 19 Apr 2026 16:02:26
We need to go for it. Leeds and Forest both winning looks like it's just us and Spurs now. Every point counts, it's not the time to be trying to go for a single point, we need wins. Spurs were much better yesterday, and will fancy beating Wolves. We need to extend that gap.
5.) 20 Apr 2026 06:43:19
36 points isn't going to keep Forest up. They're bang in it still.
10 Apr 2026 21:56:37
Never saw that coming, after the first half! Joyfull.
1.) 10 Apr 2026 22:49:31
Good win. Nice to be able to apply some pressure on other teams around us.
Defence much better, and looked better going forward. Mavro makes a massive difference.
2.) 10 Apr 2026 23:52:45
Just got home and bravo to the boys in claret and blue. Started nervously and u could tell. But what a second half. So many good performances tonight, Pablo's flick to set up Taty (who worked his socks off) was sublime, defence looked a lot better with Mavro, Disasi, KWP and Diouf. We now have momentum, so let's not get carried away but hope we can take that momentum into the game with Palace.
Spurs now in bottom 3 and a tough game at Sunderland.
Ironically, we scored two goals from corners, our Achilles all season.
Atmosphere was fantastic as well.
Last thought, if you'd offered Nuno a penalty shootout loss to Leeds in the Cup followed by a 4-0 win over Wolves he'd have snatched your hand off, so maybe good decision after all.
3.) 11 Apr 2026 00:02:49
I've just made it back home. I think it was the obligatory game of 2 halves. The first half was absolutely awful; we were dreadful, and I thought the nervousness of the team matched the crowd. Second half was miles better, and as you say, Mac, the atmosphere was rocking. So nice to leave the ground with a spring in your step.
4.) 11 Apr 2026 10:04:46
Absolutely, Hammer-D. The place was rocking when we stepped it up in the second half, and you could feel the buzz.
I'd be happy with a point at Palace, who are beatable, but 3 would be better and we might have AWB back.
5.) 11 Apr 2026 10:49:23
Mac, I think AWB is back, but Nuno has chosen to play KWP because he didn't do too bad v Leeds and also AWB was really poor against Villa. I personally prefer AWB as he has been a stand out performer for last 2 seasons and tends to play well against his old clubs.
6.) 11 Apr 2026 14:02:37
I'd stick with KWP - he's done nothing wrong in last 2 games, AWB is undoubtedly a more talented player, but I like teams to stick with players when they've given no reason to drop them.

Hoping you're right. Not the team I was expecting, tbh. Can understand why, but Mavrapanos, w biss, Todibo, Summerville missing. Let's see. Legs crossed, joyful.

Hi Peter, seen that a some time ago, the whole thing revolves around Sullivan. It’s like the song, should I stay or should I go now.
If we are relegated, I’m sure there will be offers for the club, albeit at a hugely discounted price.
Sullivan is having a bad time in his property holdings, which may force his hand somewhat.
If we manage to stay up, there’s no way Sullivan will get anything like his valuation for the club.
Vanessa Gold hawked her shares everywhere. It’s believed the best offer she had was £175 m from an American hedge fund.
The multiplication of that values the club at £700 m, perhaps £800 m. That’s it, so it’s unlikely anyone’s offering more than that.
We need a change at the top, but owing to financial restrictions for whomever comes in, it will be no easy task making big changes at West Ham.

Take your meaning, but whilst mathematics are there, there is no safety, as you are aware. Just got to do our best come Monday, Joyfull.
14 Apr 2026 13:59:59
That's how we must approach the Palace game. We need something from every game. If we sit back, there will be punishment; they are safe and we cannot count on Spurs losing.
How many points do we need?
Pundits are split between 6/8/10. I think 8 will do the job: two wins, two draws. Won't be easy. Joyful.
14 Apr 2026 08:56:07
Agreed, Leeds were very good. Man U were poor, not a result. We were expecting that, however, the reverse side of the coin is, a dozen games ago you couldn't imagine West Ham would have a chance to escape in their own hands, and the final game against Leeds they will probably be safe by then.
Long way to go, Joyfull.
12 Apr 2026 18:52:57
Can't see much complacency now, looks like we are wide awake, got to stay that way. Every point is seriously important.
We played first this weekend. Next weekend we play last.
