Forgot to message earlier this morning but my son messaged me that Disasi has agreed to come back. ??? He is right.

Not quite at present. Terms with Chelsea were agreed 4 weeks ago; a clause has been inserted that, if WH are not promoted, Disasi has a buy-out inserted back to Chelsea.

It's not yet signed by the player, and if something else comes along in the meantime, he can opt out.

So, good and bad all in one. We shall see. Hope he signs and comes back. It's what we need.

2.) 03 Aug 2026 16:51:56
Just read that Crystal Palace has made signing Disasi a priority, so I guess we shall see how much he really liked playing at West Ham, cuz I don't see this deal happening now. If what I heard is true....

3.) 03 Aug 2026 17:02:59
Just did post. Palace next 48 hours making bid.

4.) 03 Aug 2026 17:51:37
HammerWV, you can hardly have a go at him for wanting to stay in the Premiership, and if I had a choice of playing for Palace or us at the moment, Palace would win.

5.) 03 Aug 2026 18:06:06
Chelsea have half a dozen spare CBs. Sure, Disasi did well for us. How about Tosin? Seems to have been frozen out. Loan with option?

6.) 03 Aug 2026 18:39:53
Yup put that on banter already.

7.) 03 Aug 2026 19:28:08
Can't blame him. If it was me, and I had the choice, and I was his age with his talent, but his talent only shines in the right system, I would choose Premier League.

8.) 05 Aug 2026 01:18:22
West Ham won't be signing Axel. 2 Premier League clubs are in for him, and unless Palace and Axel cannot agree terms, which I think they will after Lacroix joining Chelsea, Axel is in a very good position with Palace as they desperately need 2 C/B's before the window.

Palace are in my bets to get relegated this season, and they are only 5/1 to go down compared to 28/1 last season. That's my out there longshot, not in price terms, but I have no expectations of that happening, although I think they could after losing another top defender imo. ⚒️⚒️⚒️

To be honest I can’t even be bothered to comment. All I would say is we need an experienced CB, LB and a playmaker in 2 days. Can’t see it happening. Don’t understand buying a winger from a very inferior league when Nelson was available on a free, giving us funds to buy a LB or CB with that money. Madness.

1.) 30 Aug 2026 12:29:03
Kilman cost £40 million, Mav cost £17 million. Price isn't everything. Yes we need at least 1 CB and a LB. I don't rate the midget GK. Orford needs to start, as regards a midfielder, can we get an upgrade on Potts for £10 million or less?

2.) 30 Aug 2026 16:01:54
Agreed, I'd like to see another keeper. Nick Pope was rumoured at one point.

I don’t like calling anyone out, but not one of Bamba Dieng’s injuries have been to do with his knees. He missed 4 matches last season with ligament stretching (ankle), adductor pain in 25 +! groin injury. I have gone back to 2022 and no knee injuries at all.

I am WHTID

1.) 08 Aug 2026 09:47:42
I can only post what I understand.

Dieng is an international free agent, with a decent past record. Not for me to say, but he's hawked around several teams, here and in Europe. He had lowered his demands and expectations.

So, why up till now has nobody taken him on? He's been trying to get fixed up now for two months. There must be more to it than ligament strains. I'm no medical expert. Doesn't it look suspicious though?

2.) 08 Aug 2026 10:09:43
Agreed
Dyer, Llungberg, Wiltshire, Carroll.

First off I must say I am no conspiracy merchant but. This Staveley bird and her cronies stepping in to upset the apple cart will do us no good this season for anyone celebrating. First off in my opinion they will want us to remain in the Championship this season, the reason you ask! Is because Sully’s shares that they undoubtedly want to purchase are worth loads more if either we are doing well in the Championship this season, or if we do end up getting promoted.

Obviously depending on when he decides to sell. End result in my opinion is they save untold millions on the purchase of shares if we do poorly in the champ and we get lumbered with another season in the Championship. The other thing that bothers me is when DK and Vanessa Gold had an agreement, purchasing players should be a fairly straightforward task, what happens now with no agreement between them!

We are looking for a striker when there is one under our noses, Dom Ballard from Orient scored, on average, one goal every other game, and we are dithering. We could pick him up for 5mil and chuck in a couple of our youngsters on loan.

I know what you are saying that is in league 1, but can you honestly say any of our players would score in a season 20 plus goals in league 1. No, I didn’t think so, and if he isn’t better than Pablo then I will eat my hat.

1.) 29 Jul 2026 14:46:42
I agree, and how many lower-league players have gone on to prove their worth, and then we chase them. Quite a few.

2.) 29 Jul 2026 15:35:06
West Ham will look upon Ballard as a gamble. He could prove good, maybe not. Anyone is better than Pablo; he should never start in a West Ham first team.

West Ham, I don't know if they have suddenly awakened from their slumber; they are making some correct noises, but nothing yet.

Front of shirt sponsor. So it isn't Capital Water as previously stated, it is Boyle Sports again.

I am WHTID

1.) 30 Jun 2026 09:42:11
Yup, the deal with Capital Water was very small, and made because Boyle Sports' contract had expired and would have closed anyway with relegation, bringing different sponsorship financial levels.

Boyle Sports have renewed at a lower cost. WH are talking to Capital Water Ltd, to see if they are interested in a sleeve advert.

2.) 30 Jun 2026 10:29:22
Incidentally, it was another of Sullivan's crappy deals. West Ham are currently trying to sort out some other Sullivan deals; one is catering.

I will bow to your superior knowledge, Norwegian Hammer, but it is a massive step up from where he has been playing to where he will be playing. We have had many good Norwegian players in English football, but only a couple that have transferred directly from Eliteserien to champ or prem and made it.

Don't mean to disagree, Joyfull, but if the figures above are correct, that will be a saving of about 2.5 mil over a year as pretty sure Tobido is on 80k a week plus bonuses.

Joyful, you may well be right about Nelson, but his injury history is not as bad as made out. Since February 2023 he has missed 28 games with a hamstring injury, 3 games no information, 4 with a knock and 3 with a calf injury. Hopefully he stays fit as a very good player on his day. Joyful, enjoy your break.

Bowen is going nowhere. I doubt Pinnock is of interest, and I think you mean Victor Nelsson. You could be right, but I doubt it. He has been playing in Serie B, and the team never took up the option. But who knows what is happening? Certainly not me.

Pablo has got to be one of the worst striker signings ever. He is woeful, not even sure he is League 2 level. Dreadful player, makes my eyes bleed!

The Staverley bid for the Gold shares stopped Dk investing. Joyful covered this on one of his previous posts.

I know that Ed, I am not daft, but she talks like it's her money and she can't be making stupid statements as some people believe her. There is no way anyone would invest 1billion on a stadium, what would be the benefit to them? There would be stipulations if anyone bought the land and stadium and not demolishing the LS would be one of them

Thank you, Joyful, for setting the record. Some seem to be thinking that DK was in collusion with Sully. Staverley showed her hand straight away by saying they would buy the LS and land. This wasn't for West Ham's benefit; it was for her and her cronies. If they did buy the land and stadium, there would be nothing stopping the doubling or trebling of the rent. And then coming out with all that crap about building us a new stadium.

First question is, where? Second is, how can someone with a wealth of only 150 million commit to spending over a billion on a new stadium? Does she really think we are all that stupid. The other question is, why would they? It makes zero financial sense. DK might not be what we want, but he is better than someone who got involved with the purchases on City and the barcodes for one reason only: money!

I am WHTID

{Ed001's Note - Staveley doesn't use her own money, she never does. She is a front. She brings together consortiums and then fronts them and they give her the money to invest. Her wealth is irrelevant, it is not her money.}
