On a positive note, we've been shouting about upgrading our full backs for years, we got him quick and he cost nothing. We now have cover at full back. Sort out CBs, midfield and forwards with a goalie and jobs a good one.

Also, have forest found blue print for success. Reasonable defence, young mobile energetic midfielders with pace who are comfortable on the ball and if the striker had remained consistent would they have finished third

Presume you mean Tomiyasu, whilst agreed he’s a fine player on his day, and on that day he would do well at WH, but, how many uninjured days can he have? He has had some bad setbacks, personally, I wouldn’t give him a contract, but pay as you play, could work, doubtless the player will search around for a new contract deal first, can’t blame him for that, don’t think WH will take that chance, very risky,

Todd, What light do you want shed? Providing he passes both parts of the medical, there’s no reason why he won’t be signed, there’s no confirmation of the percentage clause., but it’s high believed as much as 20 or25%, that’s what’s understood, There was no way WH would be able to sign this player unless they agreed, to that, Prague believe one day he will be £50 m plus so they wanted a possible future cut, WH don’t see this is an issue, Atalanta, would not agree to those terms, and WH also-had to outbid Atalanta to secure this player, that’s my take regards Joyful

I am at a loss as to why clubs get concerned about taking on sell on clauses. Whatever the % agreed, it is only on the profit. I am aware that transfer costs are complicated and there’s all sorts of different costs involved in every transfer, but if a player is gaining in value it means he’s playing well.
There is no obligation to sell him.

Tin Legs is correct, it’s a small problem, for Sullivan and Kretinsky, to put in any amount up to £100 m, could be easily recouped plus 5% interest over 2/3 years, truth of the matter is, they just don't WANT TO, that’s it, They just want their dividends out on a regular basis, WH is NOT their club, it’s their cash machine, certainly in Sullivans case, Kretinsky, who’s a much richer man, has had the opportunity to take over at WH, by putting the money in himself, he clearly doesn’t want to, so that’s it in a nutshell, WH have close to £30 m anyway, which they are holding back, Brady is running the transfers ( what transfers? ) and doing the talking, theirs a lot of that and not much else at present,
