Jota would be a great signing and I'd be happy with him and Phillips in this window . COYI

Irontodd

{Ed002's Note - Jota (LW) West Ham and Crystal Palace are trying to find a way to end the nightmare the player is having not being eligible to play for Al-Ittihad. There are issues to resolve - a loan would require his full wages to be paid and simply moves the issue down the line. A fee to recover the €30M they paid celtic for him and reduced wages and resolution of a tax issue would please everyone and allow him to be purchased.}

1.) 29 Jan 2024 20:53:10
Looks like a 13th bid going in for Carlos Bacca!

2.) 30 Jan 2024 14:53:56
Leaving it very late for jota deal

{Ed002's Note - There are a couple of days to go.}

3.) 30 Jan 2024 16:29:49
A move for Al Ittihad star Jota to West Ham United is very unlikely this month due to tax issues so BANG goes another one! Are we counting how many times this happens?

22 Aug 2023 19:03:29
Mavropouls inn. Now kudus and a striker would be great

Irontodd

1.) 23 Aug 2023 07:58:29
And I reckon a Couple Full backs and a replacement for Fornals. FOFANA maybe

2.) 23 Aug 2023 08:00:49
Kudus deal stinks of another club coming in and paying the asking price while we haggle over a few mil

3.) 23 Aug 2023 12:27:59
We missed out on Lewis Hall, Chelsea to Toon. Young full back.

4.) 23 Aug 2023 16:23:53
I like Ajax. Ref kudus they've said to west ham "put up or shut up". Also apparently in TALKS with Sevilla over player plus cash swap for en nesyri which am sure someone on here said last week when Fornals news first broke?

5.) 23 Aug 2023 18:37:38
I really do not rate En Nesyri good in the air and not much else imo and although KUDAS is a totally different type of player I'd take him over the Moroccan all day long so come on in today's market I think KUDAS is a bargain.

6.) 23 Aug 2023 19:50:57
Notts forest have lodged verbal bid of £30m for long time target of ours Youssof Fofana

7.) 24 Aug 2023 05:48:29
If we can get kudos, fofana to replace fornals, striker to replace scammaca and a left back we will look seriously good. I just can't see it happening seeing as it takes so long to get 1 player. I reckon it will just be 1 more player.

8.) 24 Aug 2023 12:09:07
Maintain the faith buddy. We are doing ok. KUDUS deal done this weekend, en nesyri shortly after, then replace fornals, couple full backs and done. Not a bad window at all after slow start. Reckon we are stronger now than last year

Moyes will not play borges

Irontodd

1.) 21 Jul 2023 07:41:12
I'll believe these rumours when we actually sign someone. Villa don't mess about. they just got MOUSSA DIABY whilst we, apparently continue in talks with players. The problem it seems is that we have this struggle over what players to bring in. Moyes wnats the fossils who are ageing Premier league players, Steidten uncovers gems (hence why he is know as the pearl) with good sell on value and NOBLE and SULLI are in between. Al Ahli are prepared to offer Marco Silva £40m over two-years to become the first active Premier League manager to leave for Saudi Arabia, hopefully they come for MOYES

2.) 21 Jul 2023 08:36:57
Hahahaha. Hopefully they come for Moyes, that really made me laugh.

We might have to pay them to take him though.

3.) 21 Jul 2023 09:03:47
They have money, not a lack of brains!

4.) 21 Jul 2023 08:39:34
Eds, has there been any development on Edson Alvarez? Or is he down the pecking order of targets?

{Ed002's Note - Edson Alvarez (DM) Was an option for Chelsea but they have much preferred targets. A potential option for West Ham but they have a preferred choice - although he is being priced out of a move which means EA may move to the top although the Sporting Director remains keen on the far cheaper Zakaria. Borussia Dortmund have stepped back after being told of a €50M asking price. Bayern Munich also have a declared interest but again he is not top of their list although the player would like the move. Ajax have already signed a replacement and are well placed to win out.}

5.) 22 Jul 2023 09:20:16
The men in white coats should come for Wee Davy by rights

13 Jul 2023 23:57:42
Amarbat apparently were after, would be a great signing . I can't see it . Tyler Adams and Alex scott I can see . Barnes big possibility . Brazilian of betis at CB, would be a reasonable window . We can't replace rice but we don't want to blow it all on moyes players and he's sacked by January. I think a TOP striker is priority. I like beto but not yet proven 20+ a season striker. We need goals . COYI

Irontodd

1.) 14 Jul 2023 07:08:55
MOYES has made it clear we cannot move on with our business until the RICE deal is finalised? I think, as we need to replace LANZINI, RICE and possibly another midfielder, if we could get 3 of any of the following AO TANAKA, TYLER ADAMS, ALEX SCOTT, WARD PROWSE, DAICHI KAMADA and IBRAHIM SANGARE it would be nice business (I don't rate ZAKARIA am afraid) . I think no matter how hard we try, SCAMACCA will move on and very possibly Antonio so why do we not try for GIFT ORBAN and PATSON DAKA or IHEANACHO and then get a couple full backs. Obviously this is all dreaming but if we got HARVEY Barnes aswell that would the the dream window

08 Jul 2023 18:53:49
Being linked to pablo maia. Looks mustard

Irontodd

1.) 09 Jul 2023 11:19:56
Weve been linked with him for a while now, young and looks quality can't see Moyes sactioning it.

Instead we are starting talks for James ward prowse a 28 year old valued at 35m.

2.) 09 Jul 2023 12:37:57
Yeah, a one-dimensional over-priced player, nearer the end of his career than the start. Moyes’ fingerprints all over it. Still, mustn’t whinge, eh?

3.) 10 Jul 2023 14:26:46
AC MILAN have pulled out of DAICHI KAMADA Free transfer which has opened the door for us to explore, if we hurry

4.) 10 Jul 2023 17:14:19
Kamada would be a very nice addition. Seemingly we are willing to listen to offers for fornals, benrahma and cornet!

5.) 11 Jul 2023 11:17:49
West Ham and Juventus are no closer to reaching an agreement for the transfer of midfielder Denis Zakaria, according to reports in Italy explaining a stale mate has been reached over the player. Pinto is again expected in London for further talks over GIANLUCCA SCAMACCA and Arsenal hope to complete the deal for DECLAN RICE before the squad flies out on Sunday for pre season.

6.) 12 Jul 2023 05:07:43
When we played EF KAMADA stood out like a sore thumb as a very gifted player so what the hel, are our scouts doing if we can see he's very good and we still haven't even put a bid in for him.?⚒⚒⚒

7.) 12 Jul 2023 07:09:29
Because we are still talking to JUVENTUS about ZAKARIA (how long does it realistically take these days to sort out a transfer) . Our lot love to drag it out, just look at the DECLAN RICE FIASCO. Believe me, this is not all ARSENAL's doing

8.) 12 Jul 2023 08:55:24
Ok the Rice transfer is turning into a bit of a saga now but for once West Ham have actually done well imo.
They held out for the money they wanted and it appears will get the payment structure they want and need.
I'm no Sully fan but I think they've done well, so you're correct not all Arsenal's fault but it's looking ever closer and on this occasion Sully has done well imo.
Hopefully when that's completed it will open the door to conclude the deals we are working on, when Dec actually walks out the door we will see how constructive they've been.
Then if nothing happens and there are protracted negotiations and failed deals I could understand the moans and groans. Other than that I don't know why some of you torture yourselves every time on supposedly ITK mostly BS fairytales.

9.) 12 Jul 2023 10:02:43
In my opinion, the one thing that stands out in this window is that, without the guarantee of the Rice money, either there is no money in the transfer chest, or our board are unwilling to sanction any outlay without it. The latter could indicate an imminent takeover. Who knows?

10.) 12 Jul 2023 12:46:31
Interesting thought TinLegs. The board not wanting to part with money because a take over is in the works would kind of make sense. Although, I am not sure that's the case.

One thing that stands out to me, a couple Summers ago, Jack Grealish made a big money move to Manchester City. Aston Villa spent that money, before completing the Grealish sale at the end of the window.
West Ham have never outlaid money knowing that the sale of a player is going to offset.

I think our reluctance to spend prior to the guarantee of the Rice sale is two part:

Firstly, because we are in the spot light of UEFA for FFP, which are different to the Premier Leagues FFP. Apparently we are one of four teams, along with Chelsea, Manchester City and Leicester now being “monitored closely in the upcoming period” and have been asked to provide additional financial information.

Secondly, I think the arrival of Tim Steidten last week has also been a factor. He has a proven track record of signing young, hungry players with bags of potential at both Wolfsburg (Kevin De Bruyne, Thomas Delaney and Serge Gnabry) and Leverkusen (Edmond Tapsoba, Piero Hincapie, Exequiel Palacios, Moussa Diaby, Jeremie Frimpong, Adam Hlozek and Patrik Schick) . What would be the point of bringing in a Technical Director with a proven track record in the transfer market, only to tell him we have already assigned all our transfer funds on specific targets?

Tim Steidten has been in the position for a little more than a week and I reckon it is fair to assume he has come with his own targets in mind and has had conversations about those targets with the board and manager already. It is only really a matter of time before we start seeing a couple of incomings.

Or at least I hope.

Quick side note, Tim Steidten played a HUGE part in getting Xabi Alonso to become Leverkusen manager. So my hope is that he has been brought in, not only to assist with success of our transfer targets, but also because Xabi Alonso is seen as the successor of David Moyes when he goes.

11.) 13 Jul 2023 11:24:08
Is it true that west ham will announce the signing of LUIZ FELIPE by the end of the week any truth please ED.⚒⚒⚒

{Ed002's Note - Luiz Felipe (CB) added as a Free Agent to replace Marc Bartra last summer but he has had a patchy season and Betis will look to cash in and pick up some much needed funds. West Ham have spoken with Real Betis about taking him after a move to Osasuna was rejected. There will need to be some negotiation on price but both sides are open to completing a deal.

I have no way of being able to predict the timing of any announcement from West Ham.

12.) 14 Jul 2023 11:25:39
Hi Ed002

Are you aware of who the most likely candidates are to become our new signings? There is a lot of speculation in the online media but I suspect most of it is click bait

{Ed002's Note - I cannot answer "most likely" questions but I can say where I know interest has been shown.}

13.) 15 Jul 2023 08:10:25
Any information provided would be greatly appreciated ED

{Ed002's Note - I can tell you from this post that Kamada will not be joining West Ham.

Pablo Maia (DM/CB) Sao Paulo are having to cut their squad size and are willing to listen to offers for a number of players including Maia. Whilst Fulham and West Ham have indicated an interest to his agent, unless playing well over the odds, obtaining a Work Permit to play in England will be difficult. May head to Portugal. Agent also spoke with Nottingham Forest and Genk.}

14.) 18 Jul 2023 09:40:56
Will Kamada drag on ( geddit? ) . Like our other transfer sagas.

VAR is a fiddle. Not the reason we didn't take 3 points . Emerys subs a good coach move . Moyes subs ridiculous and a bad coach move . Dunno how much if this rubbish I can watch everyweek. Good first half then sat back

Irontodd

1.) 21 Mar 2024 14:35:25
We'll have to hope there will be Fog On The Toon come March 30th.

10 Mar 2024 07:32:14
Gary O'Neill is doing at great job at wolves, I have them going down this season, as he did a great job with Bournemouth last season when they looked all but dead and buried. He's got history at westham, his name should be in with a shout

Irontodd

1.) 10 Mar 2024 14:28:23
Forget everyone, it seems moyes will be signing a new contract at seasons end. On a side note, 30 mins gone v Burnley at home and not one shot in anger! Here we go again!

2.) 10 Mar 2024 14:38:21
Bloody losing as well, loads of possession to Burnley?Bloody disgrace ????

3.) 10 Mar 2024 14:42:20
Yes but he won a trophy dontchya know? We've never had it so good.

4.) 10 Mar 2024 14:46:49
I remember saying a long time ago that JWP would be useless, then he went and had a decent start to the season.

I'm revising my opinion back to my original statement. He's complete and utter garbage. Offers next to nothing to the side apart from an occasional decent corner. Does he actually know how to pass the ball forward?

Southampton had our pants right down when they sold him to us.

5.) 10 Mar 2024 14:48:46
BOOOOOOOOOO! Just BOOOOOOOOO!

That is all.

6.) 10 Mar 2024 14:49:04
2-0 Burnley. Another defensive cock up. Who's fault is it this time?

7.) 10 Mar 2024 14:59:56
I'd rather play one of the youth players than JWP at the moment even his main attribute set pieces are rubbish, I'm sick to the back teeth of this low press garbage and the thing that's getting my back up is so called ex players and pundits sticking up for him, I've not heard one of them saying his football is shocking they only go on where our false league position as we got a very good start, but I'm convinced he will part ways with us well I'm ??? he does as I cannot take another season of this rubbish non football style its horrendous and that's being polite.

8.) 10 Mar 2024 15:15:11
Paq in the middle and he scores. Coincidence? I think not.

9.) 10 Mar 2024 16:25:04

Let’s get behind the squad. Come on you irons.

10.) 10 Mar 2024 18:18:41
If I had charged of westham, guaranteed I'd get Is top 4

11.) 10 Mar 2024 19:52:59
We don’t have a top 4 squad. Not even close.

12.) 10 Mar 2024 20:27:59
Smallest oldest squad in the league and we've spent a fortune under Moyes tenure. Time for a new manager one that's happy to work with young and exciting players that Tim can find.

17 Feb 2024 16:47:28
Surely it's time he goes

Irontodd

1.) 17 Feb 2024 21:12:12
Nope because the board don't care about the fans or the club. as long as sullivan and co are in charge its all about the cheapest easiest option and we put up with it. Today was terrible

2.) 17 Feb 2024 22:37:59
MOYES comments on the game was a build up play was good but we broke down in the final 3rd, is he for real I and millions of supporters will tell you you need STRIKERS and you haven't replaced HALLER, SCAMACCA, and we never commit enough players in the final 3rd as your constantly waving your hands in one direction and that's to get back, and I'm not a fan once again saying about INGS but he is played as a 10 against SHEFFIELD UNITED and has his best game in a west ham shirt now people will say that ain't hard but he did and he hasn't had a kick since, great management and we are losing today and he brings on a defender and a player he has ruined in CORNET so instead of leaving ANTROLLIO on and sacrificing a CDM no he just cannot bring himself to do this this incompetent so called manager needs replacing now and not when results just decide his fate.⚒⚒⚒

3.) 18 Feb 2024 04:28:19
I'm am truly bewildered what's happening to west ham and if ever a league position is papering over the cracks then this is it.⚒⚒⚒

11 Feb 2024 14:58:20
When is someone packing moyes's bags, this is embarrassing, so negative with positive players . Kudus looks lost, we miss paqueta. Johnson as a winger with ings and Cornet on bench, a good coach could make this team top 6 minimum. Can't bear to watch anymore it's literally making me age every week

Irontodd

04 Feb 2024 18:44:16
Me personally against arsenal I'd line up if all fit
Areola
Mavropouls zouma aguerd
Ward-prowse Paqueta alvarez kudus emerson
Bowen Antonio
3 - 5 - 2

Irontodd

1.) 05 Feb 2024 15:54:13
Interesting I'd give Johnson another run he's played well leave Mavropanos on the bench play Philips against Rice and give Ward Prouse a rest.
