I've been reading that we are or have been keeping tabs on Harvey Elliott. And that we may be looking to get him end of window. Does anyone know if this is true? Be great if it was.
1.) 23 Aug 2026 09:24:01
It's doubtful Nuno or our board are that ambitious. Just opting for as many free transfers or loans as possible to save money won't work
I said fans would turn if we lost to Charlton, and sure enough.
08 Aug 2026 17:07:47
So watching the game even the commentators are saying that Parrot and Solomon going to be West Ham players by the weekend, even mentioned the Celtic player.
1.) 08 Aug 2026 17:20:32
Soloman 90% at present.
2.) 08 Aug 2026 17:25:53
Hopefully the Swansea striker rather than Parrot.
3.) 08 Aug 2026 17:34:13
I'm saying nothing about Parrott at present. I said it's a story I will post after window closes.
Just out of conversation, imo, Vipotnik would suit WH much better.
4.) 08 Aug 2026 18:57:29
Are we in with a chance of landing the Swansea striker? I would like to see him come to West Ham.
5.) 08 Aug 2026 19:06:51
I've heard good things about Parrot, but the Dutch league is notorious for serving up players who score hatfuls there but bomb in England. Kezman and Marco Boogers spring to mind.
6.) 08 Aug 2026 19:11:56
Apparently so. It seems that West Ham are quite rightly keeping a lid on it in case it fails. Last Thursday, West Ham agreed a straight fee of 21 m. For the player, although 2 m in add-ons was quoted, it is believed to be a bit more.
Southampton had a bid for the player accepted, but West Ham have topped it, obviously Saints can come back with a counter bid.
I don't think the contract of payment has been agreed, and terms have definitely not been agreed with the player, but that should cause no problem.
The next few days will tell the story. Taty and Bowen cannot carry the goals on their own. Solomon will help, but a quality striker is needed.
7.) 08 Aug 2026 19:14:34
Hammer Parrot has 13 goals in 112 appearances in the English Championship and League 1. The Swansea player is a much better bet.
8.) 08 Aug 2026 19:39:43
Cheers for the info, guys. Sounds promising at last.
9.) 09 Aug 2026 19:21:59
West Ham will not be signing Vipotnik, who's as slow as a tortoise, and has signed a massive contract at Swansea. Id rather have Parrot. Dont judge him on his younger years in English football. Kane was vang average in his younger days, being loaned out here, there and everywhere, but he didnt turn out, had he, and Parrot reminds me a bit of Kane, not pacey but has an eye for a goal, so Im.
? We sign Troy Parrot and Soloman, as I cannot believe fans are saying we shouldn't for political reasons. Utter madness. ⚒️ ⚒️ ⚒️
10.) 09 Aug 2026 19:50:24
Agreed, Whorya. Solomon should be signed, but comparing Parrot to Kane is like comparing a prime Maradona to JWP. Kane scored 14 in 50 in the Championship. Parrot's last 2 loans were to Preston in the Championship, where he scored 3 goals in 32 games, and MK Dons in League One, where he scored 8 goals in 41 appearances.
I'd say, with those stats, signing Parrot is a massive risk.
11.) 09 Aug 2026 20:36:17
The Soloman issue is difficult. Read the article on Greenstreethammers. I'm not convinced by the argument that those against his transfer are doing so for political reasons. It seems more about his personality.
05 Aug 2026 17:27:53
I’ve read that we’ve agreed terms with Troy Parrot, any truth in this anyone? And also that Disasi has committed to us as well, again anyone know any different? Just what I read this morning, I understand a couple a days ago Disasi was waiting on other offers.
1.) 05 Aug 2026 17:44:03
Whitby, unless loans are going to happen with current leadership questions, it doesn't matter who we agree terms with. We are looking at frees and loans only, I think, like Veltman.
2.) 05 Aug 2026 18:10:40
If you want to cast back, Whitby, Troy Parrott was first mentioned by myself at 4 pm last Saturday, a full day before all the itks and tipsters got on it.
He's an obvious choice, but West Ham are not giving a lot of confidence that they will spend the kind of money required and needed for promotion.
Time is elapsing quickly, there's still time, of course, but don't put your house on it.
Disasi just posted.
3.) 05 Aug 2026 18:47:12
So the Parrott isn't definitely deceased, then.
4.) 05 Aug 2026 18:57:26
Good one.
05 Jul 2026 21:05:00
What about John Stones, he’s without a club by all accounts, could be a shout ?♂️
What do you guys think?
1.) 06 Jul 2026 08:43:40
I think it might be worth a one-season contract. I know he is now injured a hell of a lot, but he is a quality player, and you never know, he might be able to teach Killman how to defend.
2.) 06 Jul 2026 09:08:06
Can you honestly see him leaving a European powerhouse after playing in a World Cup to come to the Championship on about 30k a week?
3.) 06 Jul 2026 10:06:02
His contract is up, and City won't renew. He must see his career is coming to an end. We did get Zabaleta at a similar time in his career, although Zabaleta did not have as bad, or any, injury issues.
4.) 06 Jul 2026 10:38:29
Also, we were a Premier League club. If he stays in England, a Premier League team will take a punt on him for sure.
31 Aug 2025 17:11:46
Are we getting a defender in? What's the crack with cresswell?
1.) 31 Aug 2025 19:55:30
All waiting to see what happens tomorrow
2.) 31 Aug 2025 21:29:29
Please Cresswell and not Harwood-Bellis, one scored at the weekend, the other was relegated, with a large number of our other signings. We are West Ham not Southampton 2.0

Is it right what I've just read that the cup game may get replayed coz muniz or whatever he's called wasn't eligible due to yellow cards in previous matches, but it wasn't flagged up on the efl system until after the game ?♂️.
1.) 16 Sep 2026 14:54:37
Where did you read that Whitbyhammer? Can't find anything anywhere.
2.) 16 Sep 2026 16:55:21
Neither can I. I can't see it happening.
3.) 16 Sep 2026 17:15:21
Well I think that says it all then lads, if nobody else has seen it, it mustn't be legitimate, it was on my mates social media, I don't have face-ache or anything like that but that's where it was.
11 Sep 2026 18:29:39
God I hope stavely comes back in with a bid to that little dwarf perv, higher than the value so we can get shut if him and get some investment in the project.
01 Sep 2026 20:41:35
Are we getting any new players over the line tonight joyful?
1.) 01 Sep 2026 21:49:36
Well, looks like we have two, Morata and Boiro.
2.) 01 Sep 2026 21:59:13
Morata has signed. Boiro no confirmation.
3.) 01 Sep 2026 22:02:08
Boiro definitely happening?
4.) 01 Sep 2026 22:25:42
No confirmation so far.
5.) 01 Sep 2026 22:38:48
Any suggestion he's even in the country?
6.) 01 Sep 2026 23:09:58
This one sprung up about 1 pm today, there was a bit of noise between 2/3 pm, then it all went quiet. At 10 pm there was no confirmation re this player.
Agency people have left, so can't make comment. Apologies to all, but I'm going boss eyed, going to bed now.
24 Aug 2026 16:10:48
Just read that we are keen on Nick Pope, Newcastle don’t see him as part of their plans, that would be a good signing, then go get Eddie Howe.
1.) 24 Aug 2026 17:23:12
Thought I saw something about that. I would also bring Vardy in. Two experienced heads on the pitch and in the dressing room can only be a good thing.
2.) 24 Aug 2026 17:30:21
Or maybe Ramsdale. ?
3.) 24 Aug 2026 17:46:25
I'd take Pope all day long. Areola should be ahead of Hermadsen, whose main problem is just being too short. I was standing, watching that first goal slowly go over the line on Saturday. Whilst the keeper was at full stretch!
4.) 24 Aug 2026 18:19:05
Ive never been confident with the midget in goal to be honest
5.) 24 Aug 2026 18:26:38
We dropped Areola against Sunderland in January, and immediately looked better, HD. Hermanson is so much better with his feet than Areola... Pope is fine, but going back to Areola would be a big mistake imo.
6.) 24 Aug 2026 19:02:36
It's an opinion thing, Dabber. Yes, the team did look a bit better when H came into the side, but I have always maintained any player taking a pen or free kick only needs to put as close to the post as possible and he can't save it.
One game last season, he was lobbed whilst only being a few yards off his line. He is just too short. Areola is a much better shot stopper, but crap with the distribution.
7.) 24 Aug 2026 20:31:00
Call me old fashioned but I want my GK to save the ball and the midget is not good at that
8.) 24 Aug 2026 23:44:10
Areola is a far better shot stopper. The team didn't look better because Hermansen came into the side. There were several things that happened simultaneously which resulted in improved performance.
9.) 25 Aug 2026 11:31:26
In the modern game, goalkeepers have to be rounded, which includes being competent with their feet and feeling comfortable keeping possession, breaking out from the back, and luring the opposition's high press. Please don't tell me you've forgotten how every time the ball came near him, Areola just booted it up the pitch, giving possession straight back to the opposition.
With this current defence, that would be disastrous! Pope would be a much better alternative to both, imo.
10.) 25 Aug 2026 12:37:24
Whilst I agree that in the modern game gk needs to be more rounded, primarily they need to be able to keep the ball out of the net, and Hermandson is terrible at that.
11.) 25 Aug 2026 14:15:40
Tbh, Robbo, I think they both are bang average at best. The lad Charlton got from Wrexham on loan shows there are decent keepers about if you look for them. Areola's ridiculous wage demands are going to prevent him moving on, so I think we're stuck with the pair of them for now.
12.) 25 Aug 2026 14:48:41
What is the main role of a goalkeeper? The clue is in the name. Areola is by far the better of the two we've got at that job. I like Pope, but he ain't a West Ham player yet. ?
13.) 25 Aug 2026 15:43:35
I think there are a lot of roles or positions that have evolved, but there is nothing to say we have to follow that doctrine. Take Disasi, he was just an old school CB that can defend, win tackles and make a simple forward pass; he doesn't have to do what John Stones tries.
Unfortunately his vertical limitations can't be overcome.
But, as you say, I would prefer Pope.
14.) 25 Aug 2026 17:05:52
Agreed, but Areola's aimless pumping of the ball forward would put the already weak defence under more pressure.
22 Aug 2026 22:11:35
At what point do we say Nuno out then? I’m gonna say it, but Eddie Howe for me if we could get him.

This is just so grim. I really thought we would strengthen up for this Championship campaign and steamroll the league. It turns out my original thought, towards the end of the season, may come true, that we will do a Leeds and be down there for a long, long time.
10 Aug 2026 15:55:26
Is this regarding the Troy Parrott thing, mate?
06 Aug 2026 06:48:41
So if he's f++++d us with these loans then why isn't he the one that takes the hit, he should be forced to his shares at the current value, the best thing to happen was when we knew he was being pushed aside, now this it's bollocks, make the troll pay then make him sell I'm sick of my club being shat on by this prick of a man
26 Jul 2026 18:39:50
Wrexham look very good from what ive seen, much quicker and fitter than us anyway.
Mate, it's nothing personal. It's a joke. I think we all need some news, lol. Sorry it sounded that way.

Mate, Pablo did not have a positive effect, I must have watched a different game. He's terrible, he's defo not good enough for the prem and I don't think he's good enough for the Championship.
27 Aug 2026 10:36:52
This is a no brainer for me.
22 Aug 2026 11:12:12
Earthy and Potts hurt the most after the obvious two.
10 Aug 2026 07:12:53
Hammer D, every time we've mentioned Troy Parrott, Joyfull has said, 'I will tell you something when the window is closed.' All I'm saying is just tell us now, as there are boat loads of rumours about the lad coming to us. I think I just want news; it's getting frustrating.
