{Ed001's Note - there are other pages than the rumours one mate. It just means there have been no rumours that's all.}

1.) 03 Dec 2020 16:09:15
Bideford, that’s not really anybody’s fault😂🤣You can’t go making them up😂🤣Actually I know it’s called the “ Rumours “ page but personally I prefer reality when the deals are done! It gets gets fans hope up, then let down when it doesn’t happen⚒⚒⚒⚒.

2.) 04 Dec 2020 08:31:18
Sorry all i thought the site had crashed wasnt ment to offend anyone.

3.) 04 Dec 2020 16:18:55
Bideford, don’t worry mate you certainly didn’t offend me, in fact you did the opposite, it really made me smile, glad I’m not the only that can get impatient🤣😂⚒⚒⚒⚒.

Mark N. was short of pace but by knows means was he the worst player. Cresswell was at fault for the 2nd Fornals was not in the game same as Bowen very disappointing no energy Fredricks saved a certain goal with his pace. if it wasnt for Ogbonna we could have lost by a cricket score.
The board can see the problems what we see so they had better come up with some money or prepare for the championship.

1.) 13 Sep 2020 10:02:18
At least none of our new signings underperformed lol.

2.) 13 Sep 2020 10:14:29
What we've all been saying came true. Our full backs are terrible. Cresswell was woeful and we clearly need a strong centre back. Nobles best days are over and clearly we need a striker. Take £50m and Berkley for rice. Berkley can replace noble and use the remainder to get what we need. The club is more important than one player.

3.) 13 Sep 2020 12:41:21
Berkley Abraham’s + £20-30m for Rice. It would allow us to buy Tarkowski.

4.) 13 Sep 2020 14:12:20
We still then need full backs cause fredericks and cresswell are not premier league quality.

5.) 13 Sep 2020 15:21:29
We didn’t turn up.

Ogbonna and Antonio are the only two who really meant it.

Everybody else was AWOL.

6.) 13 Sep 2020 16:13:52
I said last week we ain't signed 0 players and we need 5 don't listen or believe club bids like tykowskie burnley bids . All lies to pacify us fans! And on last nights showing our club is going Down and the blame falls on dsg even though some on this site don't blame those two . We are the only club who ain't signed 0 players while we plead poverty.

7.) 13 Sep 2020 20:26:50
Apparently 3 days ago we were PREPARING a bid of £8m for souceks team mate lukas masopust.

8.) 14 Sep 2020 08:19:11
And its still being prepared. This is how we roll.

9.) 15 Sep 2020 20:05:02
I really don't agree with the bad posts about FREDERICKS and i don't agree with markro about ANTONIO having a decent game, the only player with any credit from that game was OGBONNA I've said this till i'm blue in the face but as long as we are continuing to start with NOBLE then we are under pressure from the start and i think MOYES got it wrong starting with 3 C/ M and defensive minded players in SOUCEK and RICE and NOBLE hasn't got the legs to continue to attack so there wasnt any attack minded midfielders in the centre of the park i know SOUCEK gets in the box but for me MOYES is never going to get the best out of HALLER as he won't play with 2 or 3 up front so HALLER will be sold in the next window unless he's used to his strengths. COYI.

Its easy to put the blame on Cresswell for not stopping the crosses but he had no help on his side. Once Benramha lost the ball we were wide open he must learn to chase back.
This is why i think Moyes is reluctant to play Benrahma.
We miss Masuaku as he and Cresswell play and complement each other.
Playing 2 in mid field does leave our flanks open for counter attacks. Arsenal quickly worked out our weakness as most the attacks came from the side Cresswell was defending.
One man cannot be expected to defend this gapping hole
Fornals was injured who also also covers this area well.
What do u lads think?

Bidefordjohno

1.) 22 Mar 2021 21:58:09
Agree totally, unless Benrahma learns to work back (the second goal coming directly from the player he was tracking and then stopped), he really is going to compete with Lingard for the 10 spot and will run second to him. To play him wide when he won't come back is leaving Cresswell exposed too often with two on one. Benrahma has a lot of skill and ability and I would like to see him succeed, but to do so he needs to play the position and not be another free player, we can't have two.

2.) 23 Mar 2021 05:37:10
Play him as a striker if he’s not going to track back, Antonio looks knackered after 45mins, there were times when we were attacking Arsenal and Benrahma and Lingard were the two players highest up the pitch, Antonio was nowhere to be seen, strange for a striker?

3.) 23 Mar 2021 21:24:26
Thought Soucek had a weak game in midfield too. Moyes did nothing to shut Chambers down. Needed Johnston in ahead of Cresswell instead of Fredericks coming on.

4.) 24 Mar 2021 21:17:06
Once again we are trying to play and make players do what they ain't comfortable doing benrahma is a flair player or a luxery we shouldn't have signed him if we wanted to play him as a basically R/ WB same as formals he ain't use to tracking back OK formals does it but you will never see the best of those two by asking them to work their bollocks off up and down the wing as for me Benrahma is an out and out 10 and I think formals is to, that's just my opinion playing a 4-2-3-1 you have to track back or you are asking rice or soucek to pull them out of position then that's when the problems start, so if you are going to play this system where the wingers are not out and out wingers that don't have to do much tracking back don't sign these sort of players who aren't familiar with the role or use to the role or even happy playing there I totally understand you can be coached to do the job but strikes me of square pegs in round holes and it isn't right to expect players to do the job in the hardest league in the world.

5.) 25 Mar 2021 07:56:45
Agree Morley and Benrahma is really only going to compete with Lingard for a role and if we sign Jessie permanently Benrahma is a very expensive back up. I don’t think we should ever have signed him, not because he is a bad Palmer but because I don’t think he is value for money in our setup. But it’s all a matter of opinions I guess.

6.) 26 Mar 2021 04:04:15
Hi SDL we are in agreement on benrahma and we are stuck with him now so we have to play him in a No 10 role and be told to stick close to whoever is playing up front and told to attack and run at defenders in the box as I think he really is a very good player SDL.

ive watched a lot championship games over the last 6 months as most football loving fans have.
The best I've seen is Ivan Tony and would love to see him at West Ham.
He is very strong hard to push off the ball, scores goals, and works hard both in attack and defends well.
I would sooner have him than someone who hasn't played in in our league. i know he hasn't played in the Premiership but i do believe he will soon.
He has the ability with speed, and stamina to excel in the best league in the world.
What do u lads think.

Bidefordjohno

1.) 18 Mar 2021 08:14:00
Haven't watched him but the fact that his goalscoring return is better than 1 in 2 must say something I like the fact he has worked his way through the leagues and got better as he's got older
I think he would fit in well ands take over from Anthonio as he gets older.

2.) 18 Mar 2021 14:31:51
Looks like a very good player. We must take the goal stats with a slight pinch of salt though, just look at Bowen and Benrahma goal records in the Champ vs the Prem.
Not saying they are poor, they are both playing in very different systems and leagues, and are subsequently getting far fewer goalscoring opportunities at WHU than they did at their previous clubs. In fact they are two of my fav players and i think they have a lot more to come and they are improving. Iv been very impressed with Benrahma's attitude to how he has come in and adapted to Moyes's demands from players. The goals will come for them both given the chance i'm sure.
Ivan Toney (like Benrahma and Bowen) plays in a very attacking team who will sore goals. Will he suit Moyes's game? We've seen first hand that a striker not suiting the playing style of the team can be a waste. Personally, i think he will be better than Haller from a mobility perspective, so that is good. If the price is right then he should be on our shortlist.
id really like Moyes to get someone with GENUINE pace in our front line. Someone with the pace of Rashford, Son, Bale, Moura etc would be great.

3.) 18 Mar 2021 22:57:30
I reckon we try to grab a good striker from a rubbish side. Players at crap sides rather play for a decent team where they might have an opportunity to play in Europe next season. Harry Kane comes to mind as someone who needs to move to a better club 😂.

Wow what a performance by Dawson against Leeds.
Watford must fuming letting him go for 3mil. What a bargain.
Some great purchases this season.
We all know we need another centre forward to easy the pressure on Antonio but we do have money to spend [i think]
Sorry to see Reid go although he is getting gt reviews and playing time for Brentford, he still looks premiership class to me.

Bidefordjohno

1.) 09 Mar 2021 08:54:24
I take it Dawson’s loan comes with an agreement to sign permanently, definitely contender for Hammer of the year.

2.) 10 Mar 2021 11:40:59
Papers mention £2.2m.

3.) 10 Mar 2021 12:31:32
I think Dawson will go down as signing of the season for any club, he is just a good old fashioned centre back who is not afraid to throw his body about.
The fact they are all looking forward to going training shows the transformation in so little time, if they keep the efforts up when the fans return then the stadium will seem a much better place.
Will feel sorry for Ogbonna when he is fit again as I cannot see how he can drop Diop at the moment.
What a great problem to have.

4.) 10 Mar 2021 15:07:38
. one of the signings of the season.

Both Soucek and Coufal are there, or thereabouts too.

5.) 11 Mar 2021 04:02:51
Is it me or is Antonio a 1 trick pony gets the ball and trys to outpace the defender as he's not lightning off the mark but like my car very quick top end, he needs to hold the ball up and buy cheap free kicks to ease the pressure off the back four, because when we are playing counter attacking football which DM plays you need to try and give the back 3 or 4 or 5 a breather, i might be doing him a diservice but just my opinion.

03 Mar 2021 06:04:46
Winston Reid had an outstanding game for Brentford, I would like to thank Winston for his services for West Ham for me he ranks up their with Moore Bonzo and Dicks a true pro. I wish him well and hope he signs for Brentford.

If we want Toney from Brentford we have a big chance with Winston Reed staying at Brentford.
He was man of the Match last night and looked solid.

1.) 26 Feb 2021 07:39:59
I would take 7th right now, results are all over the place this year so who knows but as long as we stay competitive I would be happy with wherever we finish.

{Ed077's Note - would you rather finish in a Europa League place or just outside Bobby? Also, would you be happy if you finish 13th, for example?}

2.) 26 Feb 2021 14:26:10
I am torn as Europe brings money in but will we have the squad to cope with that many games!
Do not want to risk relegation for europa league, champions league is a different story and if we can get 6 or 9 points out of the next 4 games then we would have a serious chance.
I personally think if we finish in top 8 then that would be considered exceptional after last year, moyes always has his critics but he gets a fit well organised team who work for 90 mins, I think last year our “luxury” players were not putting the shift in every game, became almost like starting the game with 9 men.

3.) 27 Feb 2021 10:39:31
Interesting.

At the beginning of the season most West Ham fans would have had the following list in order of hope:

1. Not to be relegated
2. Hang on to Rice
3. Improve the squad
4. Mid-table finish
5. Top half finish

Not too many were thinking beyond that!

A top 4 finish would be staggering and put huge pressure on the club to seriously strengthen the squad, BUT it would also make us far more attractive for investors the buy the club thereby bringing squad money in.

I would be thrilled to finish in the top 6 and am not really that bothered about Europe for next year.

i think we should let Moyes decide who he wants to bring in. We all know we need a striker but Yarmelenko can and has filled that roll when needed but we also know Noble is not as good as he was he's ok seeing out a game as a sub, Lingard would be a decent signing depending on his cost. Moyes is building an exciting side which we have all been waitingfor. i though Moyes made a big mistake signing Dawson Moyes saw something that a lot of us didnt, if Moyes want Lingard let's get behind him and see where our train is taking us too.

We have had good buys from the championship Antonio, Bowen, Dawson and i think this is the way to go sure Hugill didn't make the grade but it didn't breaK us either.
If Moyes wants him he can't be any worse than Haller and i'm sure he is not costing 40+mil either. i for one have no problem giving Armstrong a chance with WH What i do know he is strong and very quick.
