Hmmmm reports coming out that we've offered contract to maurizio sarri?

Oshee

1.) 19 Apr 2024 18:43:31
That's a Sullivan appointment. Luckily from what's been said and I suspect it's correct. Tuchel Silva Alexander blessin and Antonio Oliveira are way more likely.

2.) 21 Apr 2024 20:36:25
3 year deal offered to lopetegui

3.) 21 Apr 2024 22:45:41
Is it lopetegui or Sarri. You’ve written we’ve offered both contracts?

4.) 22 Apr 2024 04:03:55
What part of ‘rumours’ don’t you understand Mike?

5.) 22 Apr 2024 16:34:30
Well so far, according to reports, we have spoken to Sarri, Lopetegui, today Ruben Amorim and we are also interested in Marco Silva and Graham Potter, so the usual scattergun approach with nobody firm in mind! I might have to SPELL this for Brooking10!

6.) 22 Apr 2024 16:55:58
I think the massive buy out clause for ruben amorim will be easily enough to discourage Sullivan!

19 Mar 2024 19:44:37
Man utd are interested in paqueta and would like to use Harry Maguire in part of the deal. If moyes stays this could happen!

Oshee

1.) 20 Mar 2024 05:40:11
I can really see that tempting west ham . How do these newspapers dream these stories up . Yet people will fall for it .

2.) 20 Mar 2024 09:05:30
LMAO. You know something, It would not surprise me with DAVID MOYES and how he loves his MAN UTD has beens if their is actually an element of truth In this and we are stoopid enough to fall for it.

3.) 21 Mar 2024 14:31:51
And Maguire will be played as a defensive midfielder, as Moyes tries to fit four in. lol

4.) 06 Apr 2024 17:28:38
Oh is that all surely he could experiment with sitting one behind the striker too lol ?

09 Feb 2024 20:10:12
Any truth in the rumours Tim Steidten could leave in the summer if moyes is still in charge? If so, I reckon that could be why the board may be looking at a replacement for moyes, never mind this rubbish about fans being unhappy with quality of football. Moyes has done well, but, with this squad would another decent manager have done as good, if not better? I suspect they might!

Oshee

{Ed002's Note - Tim Steidten (DoF) Has a working relationship with Alonso who is most likely to join Liverpool in the summer as the new coach and I am sure Steidten would be interested in the Director of Football role at Liverpool if offered. Liverpool did have him as an option last summer but apponted Jorg Schmadtke. However, working previously with Alonso is not a good reason to make an appointment and he would be down the list of options for Liverpool. It is understood that his struggles with David Moyes are very much based on how Moyes utilises the players he has rather than over specific transfers. I would expect West Ham to move Moyes on before letting Steidten depart.}

1.) 10 Feb 2024 15:21:45
???????? One would hope so.

2.) 10 Feb 2024 19:01:01
Think we'll definitely be needing Steiden here to weave his magic in the summer.

With the best will in the world, I just don't believe we'll be qualifying for European football next season. It's just too big an ask with the squad that Moyes has whittled us down to.

Without European football, how are we realistically going to be able to keep the likes of Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen, Alvarez and maybe even Emerson and Areola when the silly money bids start coming in and Sully's eyes go $$kerchinngg$$?

I literally shudder to think how the starting XI would look at the start of the 2024/25 season, should we be Steiden-less and Moyes is left to his own devices.

3.) 10 Feb 2024 19:23:12
Fonseca maybe? But could they prize him from lille

4.) 13 Feb 2024 17:52:19
Billy i think the squad is good its the Manager who tells the players what type of football we play DM is the only manager that tells our player not to cross the half way line and to past the ball backwoulds
He destryed Benrahma. Big Sam didn't know what the WH way was and DM is too negative about attacking
Perhaps the 6.0 was what was needed to get rid of Moyes and judgeing by how many fans left at half time will now listen to what fans have been saying for a long time

5.) 14 Feb 2024 10:54:23
Sullivan won't sack Moyes as a new manager might come in and actually get us playing decent stuff that the players might like.

The cynic in me has a suspicion that there will be a fire sale this summer, asset stripping most of the value from the squad. We may be looking at the beginnings of certain people's endgames in regard to the club.

6.) 14 Feb 2024 11:01:46
I fear the latest statement from Tim Steidten is not good reading for WHU fans. Whilst stating he is "generally happy" at WHU, he says he has not heard from Liverpool regarding their interest in him. He also says "Let's see what happens at the end of the season". If this is not "I could be tempted away, so come on, make me an offer. I'm f*cked off with all this bullsh*tting around here over the manager, " then I am Bob Hope. Thank you, David Sullivan, for alienating the best thing that has happened to WHU for many years. Now why don't you just pack your suitcase with your ridiculous coats, jackets and hats, and f*ck off back under the rock from whence you came, and take that self-opinionated incompetent coach with you? You can play at being a general without doing any harm. ENOUGH!

7.) 15 Feb 2024 12:42:06
Rest assured if Moyes goes and Sullivan stays, it now transpires we could get Steve Cooper as Moyes’ replacement. This gets better and better. Who next? Roy ‘Mr Charisma’ Hodgson? Sam Allardyce even? The mind boggles.

8.) 16 Feb 2024 06:08:36
With Palace appointing Oliver Glasner as their new coach, that torpedoes the option of Moyes’ last opportunity to move to another Prem club. If Sullivan doesn’t grow a spine and sack Moyes, it looks like we might be stuck with him. I can’t see Moyes doing the decent thing now because he knows he wouldn’t get another big club appointment. He still believes he’s good enough for the Prem, and all those TV pundits who encourage him in this misguided belief, don’t help. So it’s over to you Mr Sullivan. God help us.

9.) 17 Feb 2024 11:26:50
SULLIVAN will opt for the cheapest option possible I guarantee it. Forget which manager can take us forward. I'd personally like Potter. His style of footie is easy on the eye, he would work well with Tim Steidten, believes in bringing youth through and he knows the Premier league, the managers and the tactics they deploy. Forget fonseca and gaultier

10.) 17 Feb 2024 17:27:52
I truly understand sustainability in a football club but don't come out with statements like the reason we are leaving the BOELYN to go to the London stadium was to increase numbers who came through the gates, therefore creating bigger turnover and then we can be challenging the top so called big four take that as what it deserves a load of bollocks all the change of stadium was to line SULLYS pockets I mean look at VILLA it wasnt working under GERRARD so they changed manager and brought in EMERY and look at the change in the football club but SULLY hasn't the minerals to do this and replace DD who has taken us as far as he's capable of.⚒⚒⚒

06 Feb 2024 17:23:10
Joy of joys, it seems moyes has made his mind up (only took 4 transfer windows) that the striker he wants is Albert Gudmunsson (isn't he an attacking midfielder)?

Oshee

1.) 06 Feb 2024 22:02:39
Looks like he is officially an attacking midfielder but a quick look over the past few seasons shows him at LW, AMC, RW, CF and this season mostly a secondary striker. Does seem to score and assist quite regularly though, whichever position he's deployed in.

30 Jan 2024 17:54:27
And knowing we need a striker, we now turn our attention to Le Havre CB Etienne Kinkoue? IS IT ME or have we lost the plot

Oshee

1.) 30 Jan 2024 23:03:02
No point in getting a striker Moyes doesn't know how to use them.

Never heard of the guy but if he's a young talent steidten has identified then I'm all for it, that being said haven't seen any credible sources report this one yet.

2.) 31 Jan 2024 06:26:53
The more worrying thing is the rumour that Liverpool are seriously interested in Tim Steidten. With Sullivan dithering between backing Moyes or Steidten, I wouldn’t be surprised if Steidten says “F*ck it, I’m off! ” Now that would be a disaster, Sullivan made.

3.) 31 Jan 2024 07:47:00
Yeah agree Tin. We have made some calamitous decisions but if we lose Tim Steidten to liverpool it would be a disaster. If let loose their is a reson why the guys is called "The PEARL" its just that Sullivan brought him in and he hasn't been allowed to do his job because of MOYES. Seasons end, Moyes runs out his contract, TS stays, we get a good manager who actually listens to TS and brings youth through instead of selling them all.

I'm afraid our owners have tried to pull thw ool over our eyes for far too long and typically we all take it and move on. About time Sullivan cashed in his chips and went somewhere else

4.) 31 Jan 2024 11:30:32
Ideally, I’d like to see Sullivan driving Moyes’ taxi on a one-way journey.

5.) 31 Jan 2024 11:45:39
Ahhhhhhhh and of course its all now starting to come to light. KLOPP leaving and Liverpool targetting XABI ALONSO. What better way of getting Alonso but by bringing TIM STEIDTEN to Anfield aswell. All makes perfect sense and I'll bet a fair amount of money he goes and Moyes is offered a new contract

6.) 31 Jan 2024 12:03:57
You just know we'll end up keeping Moyes and losing Steiden.

7.) 31 Jan 2024 13:03:13
Plain as the nose on your face. WHU will never amount to anything with Sullivan in charge. We had the chance of a lifetime with Tim Steidten. Moyes should have been shown the door months ago, and we should have forged ahead with TS the driving force. I fear we have missed the boat. Hope I'm wrong.

8.) 31 Jan 2024 14:20:01
This is all typical west ham under the clowns we have running the club.

9.) 02 Feb 2024 10:15:30
Tinny sorry I can't agree with you that Moyes should have gone months ago it should have been years ago

10.) 02 Feb 2024 15:01:44
To top it all, Fulham get Broja on loan and says he’s delighted and can’t wait to get started to show the fans what he can do! What a f——- joke that is, not that players should automatically choose us but why not join us, can only be the type of defensive Football we play each and every week plus a Manager like Moyes, that’s all I can think! So pleased I’m an armchair watcher only and not travelling to sit through that lot of tripe that Moyes and Sullivan has turned this club into! ⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

Marseille are also in the hunt for fonseca so guess we can rule him out

Oshee

1.) 26 Apr 2024 18:59:07
Julen Lopetegui is reportedly close to agreeing personal terms with AC Milan

24 Apr 2024 19:45:52
For me I'd like to see Fonseca take over. Lille beaten only 4 times in 29 outings and only lost to villa on penalties speaks volumes. He likes high press, high intensity teams with pace across the park, players who are comfortable on the ball and that encourage youth. Just what we need

Oshee

1.) 25 Apr 2024 07:13:57
Sounds like the ideal combination in a manager and he is PORTUGESE and they all do well managing in the premier league. For me I wish they would just get on with it. There is due dilligence and then there is what SULLIVA likes to do and draw it out so it becomes and EPIC

2.) 25 Apr 2024 14:35:51
The only problem with Fonseca is that he’s a bit of a journeyman - never stays too long in one place. Our next coach needs to be stable for a while if he is to rebuild.

23 Apr 2024 15:03:33
Whats the betting we talk to 20 managers, make offers to 4 and we will end up keeping moyes

Oshee

1.) 23 Apr 2024 15:42:29
Whatever do you mean OSHEE? We've only been linked with Thomas Tuchel, Amorim, Fonseca, Potter, Carrick, Mckenna, Arne SLOT, Mourinho, Benitez, Will Still, Steve Cooper and Hansi Flick so FAR. We have plenty of time to summon up some new Managers. Its the WEST HAM WAY

2.) 23 Apr 2024 15:43:57
And I missed out Lopetegui

3.) 23 Apr 2024 15:54:15
And don’t forget Alonso earlier in the season.

4.) 24 Apr 2024 07:13:51
Oshee Moyes is going. and this summer Sullivan will have one foot out the door as well.

5.) 24 Apr 2024 11:40:28
Wow, another to add to the list who we are apparently interested in could be Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic! Is there anybody we are not interested in? This is farcical. And now MOYES has admitted to friends he will not be at WEST HAM at the end of the season?

In hindsight, the best time for Moyes to have gone would’ve been at the end of last season after the Europa Conference League final win.

He could’ve left with his head held high and his reputation intact. If We were forward thinking enough too, we could’ve paid him off for the final year of his contract and gone in a new direction.

That we didn’t means that they’ve got to the end of yet another season and haven’t really progressed. It’s the same old, same old, year in and year out, always going for the easy option.

And now, just as per the summer transfer window, we are linked with every available manager under the sun. Instead of fixing our sites on 2 or 3 and quietly sounding them out, we love to splash it all over the tabloids and drag it out! You don;t hear MAN UTD or LIVERPOOL interested showing an apparent interest in 25 different managers!

6.) 24 Apr 2024 14:16:26
Moyes has NO friends, a fact he’s spoken of many times, Media only reporting the obvious He’s leaving in June lazy lazy reporting, on their part, Daisy, WH, being used for leverage at present, WH need to keep quiet, go about their business, Steidten was super confident on Amorim, and he’s come unstuck, , not a fact he will like very much

21 Apr 2024 15:27:28
Anybody else watching this rubbish. 20.mins and its 3-0 and we've not even had a shot on goal. This is crystal.palace!where are the moyes supporters now?

Oshee

1.) 21 Apr 2024 15:38:32
And don't anybody tell me they had a hard game and gave everything on Thursday. They are professional athletes who get paid a fortune to perform. This today is shameful. Why would any manager want to take over this rubbish?

2.) 21 Apr 2024 15:44:33
Moyes should resign tonight, No question Palace massive improvement under new manager, so will we, once he’s gone, players are dead on their feet, from Thursday, this is Moyes small squad biting us in the a.se

3.) 21 Apr 2024 16:04:29
Getting completely outplayed and what does Moyes do drops our best midfielder into CB leaving the often hapless jwp and soucek in midfield.

I wouldn't be surprised if he brings him off.

People can point to fatigue but that's down to Moyes for not rotating and making our squad weaker in jan.

4.) 21 Apr 2024 16:05:22
Moyes won't resign and sullivan won't sack him!

5.) 21 Apr 2024 16:27:03
4-1 down and Moyes brings on 2 defenders. Splendid.

The Liverpool, Chelsea and City games are going to be fun to watch. For their fans. Luton will probably do a number on us as well.

6.) 21 Apr 2024 17:53:44
Moyes will be putting it down to not getting a new contact when we go the rest the season without getting a point.

19 Apr 2024 07:51:17
Maybe, now that Sullivan has lined his pockets it might be the appropriate time to sell up!
