Any truth we're actively scouting John McGinn from Hibs? Hope not - bang average SPL player, not what we need at CM if we're to have a better season next term. Mind you, he'll be cheap. The entire Hibs squads only worth £9M.

Would prefer getting that midlothian nipper harry cochrane looks like he will have a bright future ahead of him only 16 though I think. Looks good for the level he plays at for how young he is.

Might be hearts can't remember.

Actually ain't that the same team? Lol.

{Ed007's Note - Yeah it's like West Ham and Millwall, people outside the area find it hard to tell the difference between all the small clubs in London.}

hahaha, ouch eds you've really hurt my feelings I so sorry don't really watch much of the spl I prefer to watch the southern football league pd.

{Ed007's Note - I don't watch much of the English Pub League myself, Noel. Burnley v Huddersfield and Watford v Bournemouth isn't exactly the pinnacle of the beautiful game.}

fair enough just the local team to support and help out with as and when I am able to. the funding isn't really much.

I'm hearing that Fernandes is injured with a broken foot? Any truth at all?

Okazaki? We may as well keep Perez or recall Hugill .

Admittedly for no real reason whatsoever, I have a feeling that Sala just won't cut it in the PL and I don't reckon he's worth the risk - especially at what? £20 ish million? Fedor Chalov or even Neal Maupay would be on my list for probably quite a bit less. But again, that's only my opinion.

He's been hinting for a while about going back to Italy. I'd rather we keep him, but if he goes I really don't want us to be looking at McCarthy or Medel as replacements. Someone posted on another thread that McCarthy apparently walks in to our side. Yea, right. Bloke's not played for a year and even if he IS now fit he's nowhere near an Everton squad that's below us in the league, why would we want him? And Medel. Oh dear, please God no.

Yeah. Not seeing an awful lot of movement on the Perez front. Think we're lumbered with him for the duration.

We couldn't sign him at the moment anyway could we? Don't we already have 17 non home grown players in the squad? Unless we offload someone (who's not English, Welsh or an academy product) we can't sign anyone over the age of 21 who's not "home grown" I think.

Isn't Darmian out of contract in the summer too? Perfect long term replacement for Zabs.

Can't see us doing any business with spuds. Ever.

I think Oxford's absence from a 6 man subs bench last night speaks volumes. I expect him to go. Hopefully for a decent amount but in all probability it's better for his footballing ambitions that he does leave.

No. Not for the premier League anyway. But he's cheap - well if you call £5M + wages for a 31 year old journeyman cheap. But he can play DM, CB and RB so Sully will just love that. REAL value for money! Another disaster incoming from the Super Lig I fear. Hope I'm wrong.

Wasn't the whole point of the move to the LS touted as a way to enable the club to compete financially with the top 6?

As it is we just end up paying top dollar for poor players. Obviously some money IS available, it's just our lot aren't particularly good at spending it wisely.
