Great effort by the club on Saturday with the christening of the Billy Bonds stand I got choked watching Billy het choked with the emotion of you know what I mean.

Great to see so many ex players turn up as well and what a cheer for Ludo the loudest of the lot after Billy of course

799 appearances - would love to think Rice might beat record - well I can dream can't I?

1.) 05 Mar 2019 09:10:09
Hi Mercerl

Agreed everything you said including you can dream bit :)

If young Dec stayed at the club for the rest of his career and say he played an average of 32 Prem games a season ( that's a push with injury and suspension) and a average of 6 FA and League Cup combined, that would total 38 games per season, if you wanted to throw for argument sake a extra 5 for Europe in the future at a max he plays 44 games a season, ( That is far to many on average but let's just say)

He would need to play at the club for around 18 seasons taking him up to 38 to hit even 792 games, the above figures are really pushing it so it would be a case he needs to play until his 40 plus minimum.

Its not going to happen, and i'm so bored at work I just thought i'd mention it :)

2.) 05 Mar 2019 11:43:48
Well done Warrington amazing isn't it Billy achieved the 799 when he was 40 having had a complete season out - now get with your work before the boss turns up lol.

18 Feb 2019 16:47:19
Seen reports today WHU interested in possibly signing Anthonio Valencia if Zab decides retire been a great player for Manc Utd but he's nearly as old as Zab

What do you guys think.

1.) 18 Feb 2019 18:18:11
No thanks.

We do not need to invest silly wages on very short term, diminishing players.

2.) 18 Feb 2019 18:18:39
No thanks👎👎.

3.) 19 Feb 2019 02:55:52
At this time there’s nothing of substance to make comment on IRONMIKE.

4.) 19 Feb 2019 15:48:54
There's nothing wrong with having experienced players in the squad (Zaba has been brilliant)

Fredericks doesn't look like he is 100% up to PL standard yet but I think he'll get there

So an experienced option seems like a decent plan when we don't need to splash a lot of cash on a player in that position.

20 Jan 2019 21:58:03
Looking at the various re runs of yesterday's game and in particular the first goal some observation

1 Diop did really well to get back and put the block in unlucky it rebounded straight to Wilson
2 wilsons shot was outstanding
3 Ogbonna turned his back on the shot poor attitude can't imagine that Ginge or even Reed would have done that

Conclusion we need Balbuenna or even Reed back ASAP and we probably need to sign Wilson to stop him scoring against us in future.

1.) 21 Jan 2019 08:50:10
It was undeniably a great strike, but I don’t think Wilson is the answer for us.

Gomez for me please and the buzz is we’ve upped our interest in him.

I’m always disappointed and frustrated if we lose a game we should be more competitive in, but we have to remember that we have a ludicrous injury list.

If our entire squad was fully fit, how many of Saturday’s starters wouldn’t have made the team?

2.) 21 Jan 2019 10:33:34
About right Markro, that team was no where near our best.
I have wondered for a few years if maybe our training ground is to blame for all the injuries?

19 Jan 2019 19:55:10
Sad performance today sadly shows how much we would miss Arnie have to agree with others on here that Carroll not good enough any more and Hernandez added nothing when he came on

Time to start some more of the youngsters next week against Wimbledon including Costa Silva and maybe Arnie as well rather than making him sit at home.

10 Jan 2019 20:04:40
So Daniel (otherwise known as Rodney) says his Brother Arnie really wants the excitement of playing in China. shows how much of a plonker he really is. his statement to Talk sport says West Ham bought him to save them from relegation. shows how bad his memory is - he was bought at the start of the season, relegation didn't come into it. I would suggest if Arnie wants to be taken seriously, he gets a new agent.

If someone comes in with a serious bid £50 million plus, because that's what a striker would cost to replace him. I say let him go.

1.) 10 Jan 2019 23:02:17
I agree Mercerl. It was stoke who were flirting with relegation. However, if Arnie wants to go, it demonstrates his true motivation - money! His brother is a complete toss and if my brother was my agent and started trying to flog my services to China which is clearly a crap league then I would suggest my brother never had my footballing interests at heart. I’m with you, £50m let him ruin the rest of his career by playing in China. We may not be able to replace him with a better player, but I would bet a pound to a penny we will get somebody more committed.

2.) 12 Jan 2019 09:10:44
Agents continue to throttle the game and inflate prices ludicrously.

I’ve always thought that each country’s PFA should look after the interests of the players and act in an agent/ negotiating capacity.

Pipe dream, I know, but there it is.

Well I watched from the stand watched MOTD twice Sky's PL highlights twice and Goals on Sunday this morning g and still don't know how we got away with that Only comment I can make is well done Cresswell for 3 good corners.

Anyone know why MP took Antonio off.

1.) 17 Mar 2019 16:47:55
How is it that we can defend so well against the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, but concede five goals against Cardiff and Huddersfield?

Yesterday’s game was bizarre.

2.) 17 Mar 2019 18:48:01
I was thinking the same about Antonio. Besides his off balance shooting which he does far too often he was the only one first half causing them trouble.

24 Feb 2019 17:44:18
Watched Almiron in the Newcastle Huddersfield game me thinks we missed a good one their.

1.) 24 Feb 2019 20:39:47
Let's see him play against tougher opposition first. Could of missed a trick here but Huddersfield are poor at present.

2.) 25 Feb 2019 11:16:50
We're would we fit him in.

3.) 25 Feb 2019 13:17:37
Not sure we missed a trick, we KNEW he was a good player but we had SO many attacking players injured we could not fit another one in permanently until we knew the long term condition of the ones we have.
Newcastle were in a different position and acted.
For me he would be behind fully fit Anderson/ Lanzini/ Yarmolenko/ Nasri so until one is confirmed crocked its better we invest the money where we need it e. g. ST and CM.

Further to Miles Post earlier a out an "Act of God" This will depend on the findings of the AIB and whether they can recover the Aircraft.

Depending on those findings will determine responsibility for the death, this is what the insurance payout will be based on and whar/ who was insured I. E. The aircraft or the Pilot. It will also depend on whether the flight was operating under IFR Instrument Flight Rules in which case it will be controlled by Air Traffic Control or VFR Visual Flight Rules in which case the pilot is responsible for determining if it is safe to fly in the anticipated conditions

In either case it would normally be the insurance of the various people, organisations and companies involved in the flight of the airplane not the insurance company of the club, although of course their could be inter insurance company claims. Anyone who has watched the plane crash programme on Discovery will know this can take years to sort out.

My own view is that Cardiff should be paying Nantes and then recover any claims through their Insurance claims company.

Good to see Creswell getting somewhere near his old self - Masuarku really doesn't cut it at all. Given at Frederick's has been out for so long thought he played well enough in both his games.

I'm still not sure what Chicharita gives us and suspect against Fulham he will be back on the bench.

We were excellent in the first half but allowed them too much ball time in the second half have to remember it's a game of 90 minutes plus.

29 Jan 2019 18:49:22
Please please tell me Creswell is injured because that can be the only reason Masuarku is playing.

1.) 29 Jan 2019 19:15:53
Is Nasri injured as well, not really feeling confident with that team, hope I'm wrong and we smash em, let's get the cup defeat out of our system.

2.) 29 Jan 2019 22:01:41
Absolutely disgusted
No passion
No desire
No fight
No will or want to frigging try
Arnie off injured too, funny this but our season
has gone off track since him and his brother
wanted out, should of taken the money, cos
on that display no one will want him or any other
Of the players!
Running around wearing gloves against
Wimbledon, get a grip.

3.) 29 Jan 2019 21:59:48
Stevie, Wolves are a really good side, can’t see us winning tonight, a draw would be a decent result, but we are WH so who knows what will happen, but i’m Not holding my breath 👎⚒⚒⚒.

Again - every time we get anywhere near 7th or even 8th we way absolute garbage 4 defenders stood and watched the first goal and Frederick's forgot he was supposed to to move up the pitch for the second

How come every week it's Rice who looks anything at all at least he hit the post

Ah well Maidenhead won.

I am still an Arnie fan. Last season, as you say Chelmsford, under Moyes he was basically responsible for getting us out of the relegation places with the goals he scored.

This season not so good and when he was injured we went on a winning streak when he was injured. Now the attitude is all wrong so he needs confidence and a bit of clever player management from the coaches ala Moyes it's all about Motivation and he needs some.

I'm beginning to think we need to have a few changes to the team tomorrow I'd go a bit redial and play Masuarku in front of Creswell giving Anderson a rest with Anthonio up front alongside Arnie

Alternatively how about a back 3 of Bsluna, Diop and Ogbonna with 2 wing backs who can bomb on like Frederick's who we know is fast

Huddersfield are going to be physical so we need to be at them.

Agree with you Steve it's about the spine of the team. In Fabianski, Diop and Rice we have the beginning of the spine, Wiltshire, had he been anywhere near fit, could of added but now have to hope Lanzini can do that role and then of course there is the striker situation. Given that Arnie is more than likely to be going then of the current squad I believe only Anthonio could and I do mean could fulfill that role.

Jason you can't even get back to High Wycombe from Birmingham with an Evening Kick off let alone Manchester if you have a look on Google maps their is an official City car park north of the Stadium whether you're allowed in it or not is a different matter.

Not only that but we were owed 2 goals against us where it wS Hand ball - Bournemouth and I can't remember the other team anyway we are still owed pne

With the action of the Fulham Goalkeeper pushing we should have had 2 penalties and the GK sent off for 2 yellow cards.

That old saying of what goes around comes around actually fits in this case.
