ALVAREZ BVB just made offer no details, I'd get rid of Potter before Alvarez personally

Need to get some money in somehow to get in players who can cut it. Even if you change the manager we still have a midfield that is not good enough for the premiership. Add to that 3 lightweight CBs and a big German who i don’t think is suited to the prem.

Whoever is manager we need atleast two decent CMs and a leader at the back.

Who will be left. Do the owners want us relegated? I called it end of last season. Were destined for the championship. We just aren't good enough. No squad depth let alone a good starting 11.

Agreed. Whatever happened to stroykens and onyedika?

WH now have approx £175 m in funds, will they spend some of it on the team, yes about £15/25 m maximum
Don’t expect anymore, there are other small loan funds coming in apparently, three greedy directors, not a single wish to invest any personal money
WH is being hocked up the eyebrows, and used as a cash machine

Don’t let anybody tell you differently, if they do their either lying, don't have any knowledge, or they are ITKs in Sullivans pay, sorry that’s the truth

5.) 17 Aug 2025
17 Aug 2025 18:24:07
Well that’s not true either, is it? They have agreed a facility to borrow (more than what you have quoted) and at silly interest rates against the land we own. So far we haven’t used it and even though we have that facility we still have to be careful of the rules and regulations and spending.

17 Aug 2025 18:34:49
OK if you say so, you believe what you want, I will keep faith with my people, you for some reason want to make me out to be a liar, and a misinformant, I think it best, for now anyway, that I do not respond to you directly, all the best Joyfull

7.) 17 Aug 2025
17 Aug 2025 18:55:35
I’m not trying to do anything? The football finance expert Kieran Maguire broke the story during the week! Even Hammers Chat had a video on it? Come on.

17 Aug 2025 19:41:04
Come on joyfull, give lee a break. Every time he posts or comments you get a strop on. Can't you just agree to disagree and move on. It's good to hear any info that's available, wether it's truth or idle gossip. It gives us a bit of hope

17 Aug 2025 21:06:54
Joyfull you keep trotting out these statements about Sully and the money the club have, now it has shot up to 175m. No idea where you get all this from, we are in danger of breeching PSR and you keep saying we can spend money. WTH. Also you keep saying the directors are milking the club, which others on here believe. Sullivan is worth well over a billion, he is 76 years old and doesn't need money, Kretinsky is worth 10 billion USD, and doesn't need money, Karen Brady is worth 85 mil, and doesn't need money, Vanessa Gold is worth 85 mil, I am not sure any of these would milk the club. Maybe have a look through the accounts and then come back and prove you are right. I enjoy you posts but anytime someone questions you, you go on tha attack which you will do when you read this.

17 Aug 2025 21:20:07
Joyful every time someone disagrees with you you get the hump and have to argue you know best. Give Lee 1235 a Brest and others that disagree with you. We all have our different thoughts on things and that doesn’t make everyone wrong apart from you. If people disagree with you so what is on here will make up our mind on who we want to believe.

11.) 17 Aug 2025
17 Aug 2025 21:55:57
To be fair to Joyfull, Skaman many of Lees recent posts sound like the bull that Sully, "Lady", and their pr team have been spinning to keep us occupied and hopeful.
Why are we arranging loans with high interest, while the trend in interest rates is falling and our multi-billionaire owners could lend at a lower rate still?
If I was in the dressing room yesterday, have no doubt that security and the police would have been called, so why should we believe otherwise and who would prefer we didn't know the truth?
This is an open forum where we can all air our views, why does Lee want us to believe what we are fed by the sites who all tow the party line without question?
Potter is the fall guy
Nothing will change
IF we sign ANY players I doubt they'll excite but may scrape us 17th

Just a small point Gerry. Since when has someone being rich ever stopped them trying to get money. In my experience, Most really wealthy people are as tight as a***holes and just lust over money. Just look across the pond at their president.
They have made millions out of West Ham by lending us money and kept the loans going for far longer than necessary and charged their own interest rate not the lower Bank of England base rate. This is possibly legal but not the actions of someone who apparently love a club. He is a bloodsucker

13.) 17 Aug 2025
17 Aug 2025 22:34:43
Gerry if you think because they are rich that they don't want to get richer, You really don't understand.

AOI. That’s all fair points until you know that I have my season ticket up of over 25 years because I can’t stand Sullivan. Plain and simple.

The finance stuff is dodgy as hell but you only have to google why did West Ham take out another load to find out that the number one football finance expert (and not a post on a rumours site who admits he is not in the know) broke the story last week? By the way he has no allegiance to West Ham. We’ve also borrowed with a bank who I believe is Barclays - which most clubs do and again is out there on google and confirmed by both parties. So what I said is actually fact and proved, we do have a facility to use money. One is standard borrowing against future tv rights etc, which most clubs do and the other is a bit weird with a company that almost ruined Everton. The money is there to use but that isn’t the issue. PSR is.

And do you honestly, hand on heart think police were called to a premiership changing room after the game? People were arrested but none of this made the main stream media? Yet we are to believe someone who again says he is not in the know but knows a couple of agents? Come on, it would be everywhere!

Don't get me wrong Irish Iron, i enjoy reading joyfull's posts, as much as i do anybody else that posts or comments. I don't for 1 minute believe everything that's posted on here, but a difference of opinion is a much better read than a row and a strop

I will make it easy for you. Copy this into google - kieran maguire finance expert west ham loan

Either that or I’m David Sullivan and you got me!

18.) 17 Aug 2025

The same expert said we were nowhere near PSR limit at the beginning of summer. Google yourself.
Owners could have pulled a Chelsea or Villa and sold wsl team or could have put in 90m a la Marinikas (forest)
But no believe Sully "we tried"

Did I say arrested? Did anyone?
Clutching at straws Lee much like DS and KB

17 Aug 2025 23:34:46
AOI if you choose to believe a JOYFUL or whatever his name is over a proven financial expert in kieran maguire (who goes by his real name) and plenty of site that have confirmed it (West Ham being one on the Barclays loan) then that is entirely up to you of course.

I think you need to read again. I never once mentioned you said anything about arrested. It was in reference to joyful saying the itks are being told to cover it up when the itks when the stories were circulating that police were called, a player (unnamed) was arrested and potter didn’t travel back on the team bus and got driven home separately.

I think you are being too argumentative but then again I could just do a wild stab and say you were joyful under another name or getting pretentious over calling someone out for what is clearly out there in the real world.

How about I just leave you to it. This site is boring… yes I’m DS etc etc. for those that had nice comments in the past! It’s been good! Look after yourself!

17 Aug 2025 23:59:35
Knew soon as I seen the comments about money Gerry would be on the case defending his mate Sullivan.

Was it not about a month ago we took out a big loan? and now we are taking out a huge 175m loan against club assets, all seems a bit strange non of the articles really shed any light on what its actually for, anyone got a clue?

22.) 18 Aug 2025
18 Aug 2025 08:15:27
Why when someone disagrees with what is clearly wrong about Sullivan you start a stupid vendetta against GerryNP calling him Sullivan’s mate. How old are you? The poster that said rich people always want more my old dad was a multi millionaire so in my younger days mixed with plenty of well healed men and women. Most get to the stage where they have made enough are contented with their wealth there are a few that aren’t but believe me they are in the minority. You have successfully driven Lee1234 from the site so all you have now is joyful for news. Congratulations

23.) 18 Aug 2025

Lee1234 don’t leave as most of us enjoy your posts and banter. So please carry on

24.) 18 Aug 2025
18 Aug 2025 08:52:08
Iron.Al how old are you? making stupid statements about myself and Sully. You all go on like it is Sully's duty to put his hand in his pocket each time transfer season comes around. Sorry but it isn't as simple as that because of PSR. I am not defending any of the board just trying to put to everyone a different view. Best thing for the club is for Sully to sell but with this PSR thing it doesn't matter how rich your owners are, or how much they want to invest they can't. Take a look at Newcastle who have the richest owners, or AV who are in the PSR poo so have had to sell.

Was just meant to be a bit of a wind up Gentleman, I think with messages the tone can be missed however I apologise Gerry if it come across a different way.

As for the whole psr thing we've been over it before, most experts, the same ones that Lee and Joyful are talking about say we are nowhere near PSR.

From my understanding the club can lose up to 115m over a 3 year rolling period however the owners would need to cover loses of up to 90m

Some owners will cover these losses, tends to be the more ambitious clubs that want to be aggressive and maximise how much they can spend by not taking out loans that charge their own club interest which doesn't help with PSR.

Now youve got other clubs that take out loans against future revenue like ourselves, the difference with a lot of these clubs and ourselves is that they are well run they have a plan, they have footballing people making football decisions, so when they are charging the club interest and using club revenue its being invested wisely.

Unfortunately for us that isn't happening they are using Club money that wouldn't be possible with us fans and just wasting it imo, and now they've taken it even further by taking out more credit against the clubs training grounds.

I feel like this has got a bit silly. We all appreciate joys posts. Lee, you do seem to get irritated by them. Not digging you out, but can't we just appreciate opinions and posts. I don't know whether you want to be the main poster, hut just accept people's views, whether you agree or not. Its good to have lots of people commenting.

Now ladies, put your handbags away.

Iron.Al, apology accepted much appreciated. I don't mean to come across as supporting Sully because I can't stand the man, however I realise where we might have been, had him and Gold not bought us, and for that they do get my appreciation and thanks. Being in business since I was very young, I also understand that we can't keep expecting Sully to put his hand in his pocket. None of the others have, and Kretinsky is worth 10 times what Sully is. No one was moaning about the board last season when they spent 150+ Mil, apparently because of that we will post a loss of 100mil this year. Why they have taken all these loans out is anyone's guess, but business loans have to be spent on things like the business, land equipment etc. Some on here go on like they have taken out loans for themselves to spunk away. Yes sometimes the club is run like a circus and we look over the fence with envy, but at the end of the day we are West Ham United and there are more teams that would swap with us than wouldn't. Brady said that they were going nowhere, so I guess we are stuck with them. But we need a manager change a lot more than a ownership change in my opinion, if we changed owners and left Potter in charge we would still go down.

28.) 18 Aug 2025
18 Aug 2025 18:38:20
@Gerry, you replied to me yesterday that you can't defend the indefensible for me that person at the club is sullivan.

I do agree that kretinsky could do more but he only has a small stake and its not actually true that he hasn't put any of his own money in, when he bought shares he injected 50m into the club, and its down to Brady and sullivan that he's on board so they were clearly happy to agree to what ever capacity he was involved.

As for taking money out the club sullivan and gold both charged interest to the club well above base rate, which i believe they pocketed around 20m.

Its also been suggested that they made something out the property deal with selling Upton park, I have no clue about that but it wouldn't surprised me.

Tbh mate, regarding new owners or new manager I'd have both its not one or the other, if we had new owners they'd probably install a director of football and a new manager anyway.

I certainly don't agree that most teams would swap positions with us if you are referring to the ownership. I think we are the worst ran club in the league.

As for sullivan putting his hand in his own pocket he hasn't for a long time, he also values the club 10 times more than what he paid. So he's going to get even richer off the back of the club for sure, the small amounts they could invest between them relative to their shares, could increase that valuation further if done correctly.

As for Karen well she takes what something like 1m-1.5m a year and got hefty bonuses for bringing in trip smith and kretinsky.
