This afternoon. I was shown papers regarding the true state of WH finances.
Whilst they may be made public in due course, they would make anybody wince.
Although much had come in through sales and parachute money, WH after all that are the thick end of £ 200. M still outstanding, with over half of that to be paid out this season for past purchases.
No wonder big purchases haven't been made.

Now I see why, an amount of this definitely down to poor choices and poor judgement from Sullivan.



Kretinsky needs to put in close to £100 m pronto to keep the decks clear.

This is going to be a massive juggling act to get promoted and pay the debts off.

WH won’t go bankrupt because billionaire owners are in place, but there’s a lot of fixing needs to be done.

All in all I’d better lay off asking where the signings are on paper WH can’t afford any, so the financial mess rumour is true.

Wether it’s Kretinsky or Staveley to get control, under no circumstances, can we allow Sullivan back in.

Yes, but they are getting Sky and big endorsement monies. WH, our debt is comparably small, but for us it is more difficult to service it.

Sullivan sold us down the river to some extent. Big loans are difficult to service, and it is not clear where some of it went.



Sullivan couldn't sort this out; he is a minnow. WH are fortunate we have Kretinsky and Staveley; they have the clout to remedy the mess.

Yes, I was under the impression that two big sales paid in cash, plus parachute money, plus Potts equals 205 m that would cancel out 80% of the debt.

No, it doesn’t, Sullivan took out massive loans.
At my reckoning, West Ham were a tad over 420 m in debt, now 215 m.

Sullivan sold out monies we were owed on transfers at a 20% discount.
Another loan was 89 m to fund overall business, not clear exactly what.
The immediate problem is 100 m is needed this season to pay off transfer debts which are becoming due.



Yes, compared to some clubs it’s not a lot, but we are in the Championship; if we were in the Premier, Sky money plus endorsements would reduce that debt by two thirds. Great, but we are not.

West Ham need to get back pronto, but can we with the squad we have?

No clubs in the Championship have anywhere near this amount of debt, that’s about it, Hammer D.

With the delay in the share sale, are we now stuffed in terms of owner / director investment, as we are now under the Championship SCR rules, which limit investment to £15m per season? Or is there a way around that to allow a bigger investment?

Be clear, Paul, I'm no legal expert, mate. Some of the rules are intricate and complicated. Kretinsky and Staveley see different things here, but what they are gambling on is potential. West Ham are a sleeping giant, we always have been, the support is massive.

Fans-wise, we can compete with anybody, 50, 000 sts in the Championship. It's a record unheard of.

The club has had bad ownership for a long time, that's over now, but the mess left behind has to be sorted out.


Sullivan looks to have done some odd stuff, but that's done. He's done, left to sell his shares if he wants to.


Fans are concerned with the squad, which, at the moment, doesn't look sufficient to gain promotion?

So if he's f++++d us with these loans then why isn't he the one that takes the hit, he should be forced to his shares at the current value, the best thing to happen was when we knew he was being pushed aside, now this it's bollocks, make the troll pay then make him sell I'm sick of my club being shat on by this prick of a man
