This didn’t take long! I'm told WH have had 3/4 calls regarding players tonight!
Slavia Prague have come in for Soucek. WH reply: no decision has been taken, will advise.
It was hoped Soucek would stay on, and obviously, there may be other bidders.
Mavrapanos has been the subject of a call from Dortmund; they received the same answer as above.
Others not known at this point.
Vultures picking the carcass already.
Sullivan spent 53 days on the missing list, from the start of last year's transfer window; this contributed massively to our demise (in my opinion)
Let’s see if he goes missing again?

The true hard work and rebuild starts now.
Tomorrow, Sullivan has to appoint a director of football first and foremost, and go from there. Recruit properly, sort out who's going and who's staying, and stop trying to cut corners when recruiting players.
Go talk to Bellamy or Bielsa, two managers who don't put up with poor-performing players, and who are passionate about the game.
What's the betting he goes on holiday for 2 weeks at least.

It won't be Sullivan picking anyone. That will be Daniel Kretinsky.

Kretinsky has given us no help whatsoever and needs to follow Sullivan out the door. You can see that he has done nothing to improve the post office. If that organisation fails and the business, he doesn't care; he still has the masses of real estate. It is not the same with West Ham, but all he is interested in is making money on his investment.
I don't think the other investors have his wealth. He has watched this club steaming towards the iceberg and just stood by and done nothing to help, and let us crash into it. He needs to go as well.

Probably be Jack Sullivan who takes over.

We need to move on from Soucek. For every goal he's scored, there's a game where he's non-existent, and in most games he's non-existent in the middle. Off the bench might be ok, but the possibility we might somehow see the partnership of JWP and Soucek in the Championship makes me sick.
Bowen suggested he might stay. I wouldn't be surprised if he's pushed to the door at his age, last time for Sullivan to cash. If no Champions League club comes in for him, he may as well stay, get us back, and become a club legend.
Would love us to try to keep hold of Summerville and Taty. Fernandes we have no chance.
Our squad is so bad, it'll be hard to drive a hard bargain on these players, as we need so many new players early.
Season in the Championship is a good opportunity for the youth players, and to get a manager in that wants to actually play football, instead of these consecutive boring managers.
But the problem still remains that it is Sullivan; we've been so poorly run in the prem and we will be poorly run in the Championship.

If Sullivan stays, he will revert to type, exactly what he has done every time. Welcome to West Ham, Shaun Dyche. haha.

Absolutely no doubt that Sullivan is a complete tosser but he does have form when it comes to making the right hire to get his club promoted at first attempt. He did it with Birmingham twice and WH once before. My gut tells me he'll stick with Nuno who has 2 years left on his contract. Last timeNuno managed in the Championship Wolves got 99 points. Btw he won't sell for half the value because of relegation, he'll attempt to come straight back up then will sell, we have the Tw*t for at least another 12 months.
I also have a feeling Bowen might stay, although his head has definitely not been right for a few months now. They don't have to drop his wages by 50% and his International career now appears over, why go to to Man United to come off the bench and play out of position .?

Nuno also had Mendes funneling top young talents into Wolves when they were in the Championship, like Jota and Neves.
Apparently, there is going to be a meeting, and Nuno will be sacked anyway, so we will see. But yous are right, we will probably see a boring pragmatic manager.

Whatever we do, we need to rebuild with pacey & athletic players that can be s*** kickers in the Championship. None of these fading has-beens, now knackered. Southampton, 'Boro, Hull all looked mediocre in the play offs. If the miracle happens and Bowen & Taty stay, they'll have a field day next season.
We need to get our youth system back up to scratch and develop our own talent. How hard can it be to find strikers? Sunderland came up and now have European football. It can be done. Sullivan needs to relinquish the club and hand over to someone who understands modern football.

We've got a decent youth team. They just need to be given a chance.

Looks like Nuno will be gone by the end of the day, torn between wanting him to stay or go. He got the team playing well on occasions, but also made terrible tactical errors.
We were dreadful for 60 mins against a Leeds holiday side. Bowen and Summerville, for me, have a lot to answer for, as they have been non-existent for the last couple of months.
I would sell most of the big players and start a rebuild. I honestly think, if we had a couple of seasons in the Championship, it may not be a bad thing. I know finances are a massive factor, but we need to establish players ready for a return.
