The signings we've made so far, with the exception of Engels, don't have any sell on value. Let's hope they get us up, but what then. Are they good enough to play in the Premier League, do they have any sell on value? Probably not. Whoever was responsible for the negotiations has done a great job getting so much money in. But that will all be a complete waste of time if we don't purchase anyone with sell on value. A few older non value players are fine, but really all the last signings need to be younger.

The straight comparisons are Dylan Lawlor or Michael Keane, then the young Norwegian winger (sorry, I've forgotten his name) or Reiss Nelson. I know who I would prefer, but I fear, with a chairman and head of recruitment who don't have a clue and are just looking at cost now and nothing else, we will end up with the old injury prone choices with no resale value.

Austbo has lots of energy and gets his crosses in well. He's reasonably pacy, though I'm not thoroughly convinced about him taking defenders on. There's a lack of genuine dribbling in the YouTube videos. He's got bags of confidence and a very good reputation in Norway.

Jury's out, for me.
