I think there will be other really good midfielders available this summer, Tonali and Anderson, for example, so he might end up at Spurs because others have filled their needs elsewhere.

Personally, I couldn't care less where he goes.

It's a bit different with a generational talent like Rice or Bowen that have been here for years, but Fernandes has been here one season and been relegated, not much affinity there for me.

Nothing surprises me in football.
But, this type of player should be looking at CL / Europa football.

I know, logically, it doesn't work how I say. But, the player will have some preference.

Who cares where he goes, as long as we get a decent sum for him. That is all that is important. I also really hate the treatment we dish out to players when they return. For years the fans gave Lampard and Defoe (to name just a couple) so much stick. But it never worked, as they always scored against us.

The treatment Rice still gets from sections of the crowd is a joke. Why do fans get so hot under the collar just because someone doesn't want to spend their life playing for a basket case of a club. Hopefully things will now change, and players may see us as a team worth staying at.

If he agrees terms with both, and Spurs offer us an acceptable offer, it forces other clubs who are serious to match it or get close. He can then have his pick. A team, maybe watching, lets Spurs do the work, then matches once it's agreed. Also, Fernandes doing right by the club, going to the highest bidder, is better than him demanding only Man U.

That wouldn't help us.

No idea about Mikey Moore, and I've heard they have some good players that could be good for the Championship, but I dunno how I'd feel about potentially Spurs fans/players making up our team.
