Vardy is taking a leaf out of Ronaldo’s book, hyperbaric baths, oxygen tents, massages whilst in ice etc.

He admits he can’t manage more than 60 minutes of full play, and is more prone now to injuries.

So for me there’s first question, what do WH need him for? He wants 40 k a week.

Personally I don’t get it.

There’s loads of younger, fitter players, who will come to WH, and then if we make the premier. Vardy won’t.

Sometimes, I’m puzzled, some on here reckon him, maybe their right, we will see, I would go for younger players every time

I'd rather sign younger players as well, Joyfull, as I'd rather see a more settled squad rather than a constant churn of players. Try and build a young, exciting squad and all grow together. However, I don't mind a few older players, especially this year, as we can get a bit out of them this year, and hopefully replace them once promoted at the end of the year.

I will say not as first options in the market though, but as backups, as injuries, minutes, etc. can be affected as players get older, so squad players not first choice!

I think I would give him a miss, too. It's not the worst thing I've ever heard, but does he still have his speed? That was his main asset. I doubt it, and take that away, and he is an average player.

People have said Sherringham scored 20 for us in the Championship, but his main asset was his movement and ability to hit the mark, similar to Wilson. So, I would say no, and look for someone younger.

Inclined to agree. Get a young and hungry, pacy striker in. Whether that's Parrott or not, I don't know. I imagine/hope Nuno and Koppen know what's required.

Personally, I think Vardy would be a pretty decent buy. He'll probably be faster than everyone we currently have and he scored 7 and made 2 in 29 starts for a team relegated in Italy, so those stats are not too bad.

He'd only be a one year deal - no more. If he scored 10-15 goals, then £40k to get us up would be fine. Pablo cost £22m and never looks like scoring, therefore, I feel he'd be a solid fit for one year... and he's free.
