Mavro Disasi, Soucek Fernandes have been outstanding tonight.

Another completely biased post against our Damager, but will this man never learn about subs when your winning?Never change a winning team especially with such a limited time left has always been my mantra, even more so when it has happened so many times, he sickens me! ⚒⚒⚒

I agree. This bloke’s substitutions really needs looking at. He’s an idiot.

Sorry Chelmsford I don’t agree virtually all managers will do the same if you are referring to the subs at the end of the match. Just to wind down a few more seconds. But if you are talking about the Tatty off, Wilson on, then he had to do that Tatty was absolutely exhausted after putting in such a shift.
The substitution at the end did not lead to their goal. The 7 minutes of added time did which was an outrage. I was there and Summerville was about the only small injury he was down for about a minute and the VAR decision was about 4 mins. I don’t normally complain but the referee was an outrage

Come on. These guys are top athletes. With the modern training methods and diets, they are fitter today than footballers have ever been. This exhausted nonsense after participating in a game for 90 mins with a 15 mins rest halfway through is a fallacy. Sure, they can get tired, but exhausted to a point where they can’t play on? In my day, the worst a player got was cramp, but he always got up and finished the game.
You can’t tell me Taty, Bowen and Summerville couldn’t have finished that game. Substitutions for injury or a change in tactics, fair enough, but because a player is tired? And our two most effective players? Ridiculous. Nothing more than bad decisions. Well said Chelmsford.

Hammer-D, no of course you’re right, but he’s made this mistake how many times I just can’t contain my anger at him?the subs need to get up to speed and familiar with opposition to quickly, If we’re losing and might just as well 0-2 as 0-1 in the short time left I can understand, but we knew who we were playing and they are hardly lightweights, plus they want to stay in contention for at least top 7 finish! It would have been such a great result and put others around us really under the cosh, then he’s smiling being interviewed??My son in law was jumping for joy being a Forest ? fanatic!
Had we been playing mid to lower with nothing to fear either way, that’s different imo, but that’s the way my old Football brain works!
We are hardly known for defence solidarity even though we are so much better lately! ⚒⚒⚒⚒

Those decisions did not impact the result at all. I know you don’t like the manager Tin but it seems to me that you are looking for the smallest problem that you can use against him. He has cost us points but we are also playing better football than we have for years
and long may it continue.
you were called out before about sticking your neck on the line and saying who you would put in charge and your choice was Thomas Frank well we’ve all seen what an abject failure he is. Great judgement ???

If you remember correctly, I did say I didn’t think he would succeed at Spurs. A ‘square peg in a round hole’ I think was the actual phrase. And if I remember correctly, my choice of Frank as manager for WHU being a more suitable fit, was agreed with by most on here — including you I think.
I still think Frank would be a better manager for us than Nuno. So, yes, not only good judgement, but a better memory! ?

Regarding the substitutions I see both avenues. We thought Taty, Summerville and Bowen looked knackered, so no problem, but we thought it odd to swap the left backs.
It was a good point.

Well Tin I don’t recall the square peg round hole comment but I will take your word for it. ? I thought he seemed a decent bloke and would possibly be better than Nuno but I have stated that the thing with Brentford is it is their set up not the specific manager as the new manager is doing better than Frank and he ( Andrew’s ) was a complete unknown. One of my good mates is spurs fan and he hates Frank as he says he sets them up not to lose and it’s only when we go behind that they start to play. Which is what Nuno was like till a while ago.
I try not to change with the wind but my opinions of players and managers do change over time but I find your mind is made up on various issues and won’t be changed no matter what, therefore you try giving every silver lining a cloud. Even if I were consolatory and said yes I take chelmsfords and your point about the subs, it still didn’t cost us the game. If you want to be harsh you have to blame the defenders for not closing down the cross or shot but that would be churlish which I’m not

“………. I find your mind is made up on various issues and won’t be changed no matter what, therefore you try giving every silver lining a cloud.”
What on earth are you talking about? Are you seriously suggesting that the 20 points we’ve dropped from winning positions have nothing to do with Nuno’s bad game management? Even if you discount half of them, that’s still 10 bloody points! That’s not changing just because this squad is playing better.
We’re still in the relegation zone. We shouldn’t be in this position in the first place. I’ll give Nuno credit if he shows it’s him that’s got us out the crap, but I still think there are better/more suitable managers for WHU even if he does. I’m not going to flip-flop.

You know full well I’m not suggesting that he takes no responsibility for our results and I’m not for one minute suggesting he’s a top manager. I’m not sure he is responsible for our recent performances and maybe it is more down to Paco the new coach. But we are now playing much better. So to examine every game with a microscope to find reasons to blame the manager or anyone else as to why we didn’t get the desired result is ridiculous.
One thing is looking more certain and that is the demoralising effect Paqueta must have had on the group as since he has gone the team spirit and play is soooo much better. I didn’t like people slagging off paqman when he was here but looks like they may have been right all along……….
There you go I’m flip flopping again
12.) 12 Feb 2026
12 Feb 2026 08:49:36
So what is it, Paqueta leaving or Nuno having an epiphany and metamorphosing into a wonder coach? ?
13.) 12 Feb 2026

What we should be worried about, is Forest sacking Dyche. They might get someone in who actually knows what he’s doing!

This won’t surprise you as I was one of the people slating Paqueta but I feel a lot of the recent change in fortune is because he’s gone. All 4 managers who had him at WH tried to build the side around him with the other 10 (possibly with the exception of Bowen) being bit part players. Having seen that the betting accusations were effecting him negatively that exercise should have ceased but all 4 persisted with it. My issue with Paqueta is that when the case was dropped he should have repaid the faith tenfold but we got nothing but an I don’t want to be here or in this country attitude.
I think his leaving coincides with Paco joining and Nuno perhaps learning from a few mistakes. To be honest if we continue to play in this manner which I’m finding enjoyable to watch and can continue to create and build on Tuesdays atmosphere (and of course stay up! ) who cares where we pre-portion positive responsibility.

12 Feb 2026 12:23:34
Surprisingly, I agree with you Dabber, but surely if the players started playing better football on Paco’s arrival, then shouldn’t he be the head coach, not the man who has no idea about positive, entertaining, attacking football?

I tend to agree and said as much a couple of weeks ago ….big risk for Nuno taking on a 2nd in command that plays the game the West Ham way
