I'd love to see Paqueta and Vanaken at West Ham. And I would be surprised if Lanzini and Benrahma don't end up in the out tray. To be honest, I'd rather see either Soucek or Fornals join Lanzini on the way out, but I doubt that's going to happen. Soucek is a mere shadow of himself in his first season here, and I've never been a big fan of the Moyes favourite, Fornals. He's far too weak and loses or gives away the ball too much. Good off the ball, but he doesn't create anything and we need a creative player now we have a real target man in Scamacca.

Paqueta no personal terms, not even sure he wants to leave Lyon. Would be a great bit of business but a long way from done if the player isn’t even sure he wants to leave and the clubs haven’t agreed a fee. Smells a lot like a ‘we tried’ coming up, but hope I’m wrong. If we did land him I doubt we would also go for Vanaken.

It seems (we have heard this before) that we are working hard and very close to agreeing a deal for Paqueta's agents and Lyon. If we can get him and Vanaken it completley transforms our midfield into quite a potent force in behind SCamacca. With Bowen and Cornet out wide its looking good, goals galore. I don;t see much future however for Lanzini, Fornals and Soucek!

The world and it's mother have been touted as interested in him. Yes, his agent is in London, but that means diddly squat because he's just trying to "sell" his client as he's seen an opening. The player could go anywhere. If we're serious about snatching this excellent player, we need to get our fingers out and also our cheque book. It's now reported that a deal has been agreed for Paqueta to come here. Fingers crossed. I also read that 'East Village' on Knees Up Mother Brown, usually spot on with his predictions, is intimating that Januzaj, Gallagher and Broja may well be joining him! I'll believe that when I see it. If, by some miracle, that comes to fruition, Fornals, Lanzini, Benrahma and even Soucek, become vulnerable. Antonio will fall down the 'striker' pecking order and maybe he'll not be relied upon so much to be our goal getter. However, this is West Ham, so I'm not yet unpacking the bunting and champagne.

Can’t see us getting both Chelsea boys if either. Broja wants to play not be backup and Gallagher I can’t see them releasing. But just guesses I would love to see it happen.

Wouldn't we all? If it did, Broja and Scamacca would elbow Antonio out of his position as 'striker'. To be honest, I've never seen Antonio as a striker and his lack of goals seems to confirm that. Although he's a loyal workhorse, he's never been another Arnie - more like a Clyde Best clone, but without so many goals. Not to take anything away from the lad. He's been called on to fill a void and to be fair he's done his best (forgive the pun). Anyway, if Broja did come here, I can see him sharing the strike role with Scamacca, depending on the opposition, so I believe he'd get more playing time than he has at Chelsea. But this is all speculation of course.
You might be right about Gallagher. Chelsea are probably reluctant to let him go. Januzaj is a more likely option of the three. DM likes him and I'm sure the lad would relish a return to the Prem. Oh for a crystal ball!

Not one person has mentioned its not just the starting 11 that count so I doubt we will be selling anyone has in the premier league you MUST have a strong bench that is totally equal to the standard of your starting 11.
