In truth WH to be finite made 4 bids for Engels, not 3, as they altered the addons. Soon after the third bid it was thought that was the problem holding the deal up

Second to this, Itks saying West Ham just made personal agreements with Engels. No, the agreement on a personal level was made two weeks ago!
What difference does that make? Answer: none.

Player, agent, or representative can make whatever deals they want. It counts for nothing.

Time we move on to other players, God's sake. Plenty of midfielders out there for a damn sight less than £25m.
