Nuno, let’s be clear I’m not a fan of his, but he’s probably doing what he thinks is the best he can with what he’s got.
If Eddie Howe walked through the door tomorrow, within a few days, he would say we need these two, we need that one, this one, and give over a long list of players we need.

Point I’m putting over is, we can change manager tomorrow, I don’t think it would make more than a small difference, you can only field what you have, and we are well short, all over.

Many fans, say play the youth, ok Nuno's done that, he’s had too, one or two ok, that’s it, no stars there for sure at present time.

Summing up, as we stand we are not going to score the many goals needed in this division, we can’t create the opportunities to do so, we won’t keep enough clean sheets either, other than that everything’s fine!

It’s not half a glass, it’s not doom and gloom, this is the present reality, with two weeks before kick off.

It was said before, but I wonder if this season is about trying to balance the books.

Keep hearing we still have 4 weeks to go!!! We need players for the start of the season, not in 4 weeks, that's if we bring in anybody in.

Never mind, they know what they are doing.

Sorry Joyful, I don't totally agree. I do agree that we lack pace, creativity, and a goalscorer, but I don't agree that a different manager would get the same results, especially someone like Howe. By the end of last season, Nuno had done more than enough for him to be dismissed, which is what I hoped for. But when all the Sullivan stuff broke and DK seemed to have a plan to revive the club, and one of his first decisions was to cement Nuno in place, I thought it best to be supportive. Over the intervening time, we now see that DK has no plan, and we are saddled with a dreadful manager and a major shareholder with no plan.

Many said that the upturn in our form in the last third of last season was down to Paco's arrival, and we can now see that is probably correct, as we have reverted back to what we were before he came. We should win many more games this season as the opposition is far weaker, but if the friendlies are anything to go by, we won't, and a new manager and philosophy would greatly help.

This is exactly what I feel.
This has been the issue for the last 16 yrs, and is exactly what every West Ham fan wants to see the end of.



As for Nuno, I get no energy watching him on the sideline, it's like he's on autopilot mode. The club needs an almighty kick up the arse.
