I think it depends on what they can get for him. If it's 15mil, then he will be sold - which is fine if we can find another rough gem.

I think it would be best to keep him and let him know he is to be a pivotal part of the team. We've seen too many decent young players not realise their potential with us, but go on to bigger and better things. We sold Diangana for about 18 million years ago, and he wasn't that good.

Personally I don't see what most are seeing in Kante. Whenever he came on in Prem, he didn't exactly set it on fire. Also, everyone says we need to copy Brighton/Bournemouth model, well surely this is it? Turning a massive profit on someone who has barely played would be good imo.

Hi Chris, we cannot sell players like Kante. I don't know what games you were watching, but it's very difficult to impress in 10 mins here and there. Before he made it into the 1st team, go and watch his performance in the 21s against Liverpool, he was unplayable. People are too quick to judge players on a few minutes, and Soucek starts every game and his legs have gone cos he scores a goal every 8-9 games.

He's only in the team cos he's a big lump and that's it. He's decent in both boxes, but that's it. We've got players like Fearon, Kante, Orford etc etc that are better than Soucek imo. ⚒️⚒️⚒️

At the rate we are going, we will need to hold on to as many as possible.

Very disappointing that we still have no head of recruitment or director of football.

Sullivan has gone, but it all still feels very "Sullivan esq". Lots of rumours, but not much happening, especially around Fry and Webster!!

@Whorya, I was watching the same games, mate.... The ones he had 10mins here or there, and I didn't see much. I have also watched the U21s games, and yes he stands out because of his physique - he doesn't then have that advantage v men. I get your point, hard to impress in those few minutes, but also, in my opinion, it doesn't make him a must keep.

If a massive profit can be made on him, then I don't think it's something to straight away turn down and must be considered. I would prefer to see Fearon given minutes if I am honest anyway.

I think until they solve the director of football issue, it will be slow. Also, throw in a World Cup, which has always made the transfer windows drag anyway. I think it could very much be a 1 out 1 in kinda summer, which is very frustrating, and it means we will kick off in 9 weeks without having the full squad.

Changes will happen during August again after a few games, leaving it too late and giving new players no pre season with us.
Think we will start the league campaign struggling if im honest unless individual moments can win us games (if we keep Bowen etc).

Chris I wasn't saying his physique was anything to do with him having an advantage in the 21s, the last game he came on he was very good and if you've watched the 21s then how can you say that he should be sold, so sell him and keep soucek is that what your saying you obviously don't understand football i'm sorry to be blunt we CANNOT be selling players like KANTE for £15 million we shouldn't sell him full stop you clearly didn't read what I said it is extremely difficult to impress in cameo minutes players that are dead wood should be sold i.e SOUCEK, DIOUF, PABLO etc ⚒️⚒️⚒️
