Summerville! Agent now in proper talks with Roma. The player is being persuaded to go there by WH, our club don’t want him to go to Spurs, who have matched Roma's offer. At present no other clubs are matching the £35 m offers.

Fulkrug! Werder Bremen step up to match Venezia and Wolfsburg in offering the player to match his current wages if WH let him go on a free.
The player has two years to go on his contract.

WH need to get shot of Fulkrug, or play him in the Championship. His agent is pushing for a free, difficult to see that happening.

He’s becoming a problem.


WH are trying in the background to get JWP and Cornet moved on. It’s very hard to; they are both coming to the last year of contract, so no loans unless they extend contracts. Can’t see that, so plenty of problems at WH to solve.

Nuno doesn’t want any of these three players in his new squad. May not be able to avoid this. This is why WH have to be careful giving out lengthy contracts.

Kilman being the prize example, 8 year contract, 6 years to go. Nuno will rub his hands if we can move him on

Latest news is that Mourinho wants Real Madrid to buy Fernandes. If true this has suddenly increased his value to near £80m.

Hold steady Mac, Real nor Liverpool have done anything concrete as yet anyway, just paper talk, but it's exactly what WH need, and there is nothing to create a bidding war as yet. All it takes is one large bid, then away we go.



I am in no doubt player sales will achieve £100 m easily.

What is bothering me is the low level of targets WH are looking at; we won't be promoted with some of those people playing, that's for sure. Joyfull.

In all honesty, this Real Madrid story is probably Sullivan and his media team cooking up a story to drive the price up, and so be it. The more the merrier.

If we sell Summerville for £35 million then that's crazy, he's worth £50-60 in today's market. Just cos we are in the Championship doesn't mean we should give him away. Players like him and Fernandes, that are young, shouldn't ve sold on the cheap. Look at the prices we were quoted for Hackney from Boro.

It isn't that WH can't hold some players, it's the agents that are pushing their people to play in higher divisions, for bigger money, there's really no point in holding people against their wishes, which it will eventually boil down to.

WH are facing the fact that they are in a lower league, paying lower wages etc.



However, the wages they can still pay, and being in London, will to some extent help with younger players.

Make no mistake, it's going to be a task to get out of the Championship.
