He should have gone last season and we may have still been in prem, then in summer, board bottled it, he's a charlatan. I'm totally sick of these anti football managers at least supporters are waking up and seeing what a clown he is now bin him and try hardest to get McKenna in for me.

Do you really need to ask that question Stevie?

I thought McKenna left Ipswich due to family illness?

He left Ipswich to spend more time with his family and to take a break from football. No mention of illness. Maybe he had frostbite from shelf filling in Iceland? ?.

McKenna would be my #1 choice. The reason he gave for walking away was slightly vague. It was something like family reasons. But I imagine he looked at the situation and by walking away with Ipswich on a high, he retains his credibility.
But probably thought to himself Ipswich are going to struggle in the premier league again, and that could make him look like a poor manager and do more harm than good.
But if a decent size club like West Ham were to make him an offer he may have a decent project to work on. With a good fan base, youth team and a half decent squad and hopefully some resources. That's my take on it but that could be completely wrong.
