Anyone know about Mavropanos agreeing new deal at West Ham?

Dortmund are chasing him. Week after next, he and a few others will become clearer. When they return, or not, for training, then talks will take place as to which direction they want to take.

Mavrapanos is on a lower ££40 k wage; that is going to halve on July 1st, to £20 k a week. That won't be enough to keep him at West Ham, so talks required.

I think you will find that Mavro is on 50k per week. But, I agree half that is not enough to keep him. I did hear the DK has offered to the players they want to keep the half wages they lose as a bonus if we go straight back up. Clever thinking, if it is true.

I'd sell him, an average defender who, over the course of his West Ham career, has played well in a handful of games. If we get a decent price, sell.

The bonus idea was posted by myself some time ago, it is clever, it won’t suit all, but it may please some, but it further makes it difficult, maybe, for some players to make their mind up.
