Just to round it out, yes Scamacca sick, Emerson has played 45 mins of Premier League football in 12 months, Paqueta has not trained with the team yet and Benrahma is the only player you could swap for Cornet and as much as I have criticised Bennie I think he has ear to his start. Fornals gives balance you couldn’t take him out and put Benrahma and Cornet on IMO. So while I would love to see the new boys not sure any bad decisions from Moyes.

I thought Paqueta played well even though he was thrown in at the deep end. Rice had a masterful game, again. And Kehrer's own goal couldn't be avoided - he also had a solid game. To my mind, this game proved Antonio is no striker. I think maybe Soucek would make a better target man up front and I'm surprised DM has not tried to convert him. Fornals underperformed yet again. I lost count of the times he gave the ball away, and his shooting accuracy is non-existent. I'd rather see him or Lanzini go than Benrahma. Coufal had a better game and Bowen tried, but with no end result. On the whole, I thought we deserved all three points. Oh well, Chelsea up next.

I was generally encouraged by the game. Far more positives than negatives.

We certainly deserved at least a draw and had several chances to win it.

Chelsea have also had a poor start to the season and are there for the taking.
