Seems Graham Potter is ready to return to club management and he his one option man utd are looking at if they replace ten hag. More recently Potter has turned down an opportunity to become the head coach of Ajax in the Eredivisie, a club currently experiencing one of the worst times in the club's history. I'd suggest if we are interested we move quickly!

And if you believe what you read, Paqueta's agents have agreed personal terms with City ahead of a summer move to the etihad. Original Fee was believed to be around £70m but I suspect that figure may well have increased due to his performances this year. Kalvin Philips will be allowed to leave. West Ham must now find a replacement in the summer god help us (with MOYES at the helM)

I think Pacqueta/JWP were Moyes pick/signings, whereas Kudus and Alvarez were TS signings. All 4 have been successful.

I wouldn't exactly call JWP a success? Nor would I call Cornet, Aguerd, Phillips the list goes on and on. And its not just the players MOYES wants, its the positions he targets. Last window, no striker and no full backs or winger (after Benrhama left because of moyes treatment) . And yet, we brought in a DEF MID which really, was not a necessity. We then have the players who want out or have already left because of him, his tactics etc! TS wanted to bring in FOFANA, Moyes said No! How many more has he boycotted because he couldn;t get his own way!

Aguerd has been excellent in patches. His form has dropped off, admittedly, yet he’s not been a bad signing. Whereas, Cornet HAS been an awful signing. Regarding, Philips, when we signed him most fans thought he’d be an excellent signing; a proven international, plaudits from all and appeared very professional. Yet, it has not worked out, that is no-one’s fault. Still been a pretty decent season; 7th -where I think we’ll end, still in Europe. We will NEVER crack the top 3 of City, Liverpool, Arsenal, the next rung will generally be Man Utd, Spurs n Chelsea. Leaving ourselves, Villa and Newcastle after the 7th place. I am a realist and know we cannot contend with the ‘big 6’, therefore, European runs are good. I am a happy Hammer and see good progress. This is our best premiership side/squad we’ve had, so celebrate it.

{Ed001's Note - how could Phillips have appeared very professional? It was well known he does not train well and is consistently overweight, out of shape and injured as a consequence. What is professional about that?}

Most fans did not think Phillips would be a good signing. Totally false most fans thought exactly what has played out for a player that has hardly kicked a ball for two seasons.

Both Ed and Boleyn Boy are absolutely correct of course. You have to forgive Brooking10, whatever name he uses. He lives in a delusional world of his own where being picked for the England squad by an incompetent idiot means you must be a top player. That repeated selection left most football fans scratching their heads, but not Mike.

Tinlegs, whoever you are. These are my views. Regarding my name. What do you mean? I am new to this site and found it by chance. Regards to Philips, I sit near the away fans and we ALL believed Philips would be a very good signing. This has proven to not be the case. Sorry if I have offended you and gone against your beliefs and obviously well informed information.

Brooking,
Your comments strongly reflect another previous poster on here who regularly used various usernames, it is easy to imagine you are one and the same, especially as you first appeared immediately after that poster embarked on a period of quiet. I’m not entirely convinced. I assure you I am not offended and I encourage you to post your opinions as you see fit.

Brooking10, welcome to the site mate?You are entitled to your opinion as is everyone on here! My Son in Law who is a Forest fan thought Phillips would be a great signing, I was unsure, saw your namesake play at the Boleyn on numerous occasions as went to every home game and was then living in Dagenham, so only a short run on the District Line, but not now due to age, health, travelling, but have been to LS 4 times since moving to Chelmsford, but that was about 2008/09! ⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

A good signing someone who has played 90 minutes in 2 years trust me if he was any good PEP would not let him go and I think that was to butter us up for PAQUETA going the other way I was amazed CITY signed PHILLIPS we were desperate for a striker and DD wanted another defense minded player I didn't rate him at LEEDS to be fair and he isn't playing at a level to get in the current LEEDS side and talking g about LEEDS there's 2 players I definitely take maybe 3 GNOTO SUMMERVILLE GRAY.⚒⚒⚒
