Reports now about Inter wanting Arnie back. Carroll and Perez gone, Hernandez almost certain to leave and now rumours about Arnie leaving too.

Well, that would give MP a clean slate to assemble his own strike force. We would need two high profile central strikers to spearhead our attack and I wonder what the budget is for that.

Not too sure he will be leaving. Seems like Pelle wants him as one of his up top strikers.

Not for that quoted price we already have to replace 2 strikers and I won’t be surprised if stoke have a sell on clause. i still think it would be madness to completely change the front four Arnie n Chico will stay.

Well chaps, you know what will happen now Sturridge is a free agent?

Sturridge and Welbeck wouldn't be bad back up options on a free provided they weren't on stupid money or long contracts. It Would help the home grown quota too - a lot.

Sturridge, as far as I'm aware got through last season with no major issues but admittedly was used sparingly by Klopp. Welbeck I think, is fit again after his ankle surgery. Hmmm. Both good players. When they're fit.

Could be worth a punt if Arnie's staying and Pelle really is looking to bring in another main man for the CF position. Striking options of Arnie, A. N. Other, Welbeck and Sturridge wouldn't be half bad.

I'd cash in on ARNAUTOVIC right now as after another season and your getting to or already hitting 30 your value drops quite a bit and at this part of his career we could get £35 million IMO and then go for WELBECK or MITROVIC preferebly the latter because of his age although I think given a run in a side and told you are my no 1 striker WELBECK would get you 20 goals a season IMO. COYI.

Chaps Arnie is a top top player when his head is right and will always score goals, even as Whory said he will be hitting 30, why does there have to be a sell on?, what can you buy with £35m these days?, even spending £50m on a player who has never played in the Prem would be a gamble. If he wants to stay he can go at least another 2 seasons scoring, and by than he will prob end up in China or the US and we may even get £10m - £15m at that time.

No for me unless a bid of £50 plus comes in for him if he head is right than I would like him to stay put for a couple seasons.

Sturridge may be worth a shout, on a basic and a pay as you play big bonus

To be honest I trust MP big time, so who ever he decides needs to go and bring him Ill trust his judgement.

Why on earth would you want to sign Welbeck? I can't even remember the last time he played for Arsenal he's spent so much time injured. Honestly. have you not learnt your lessons already from signing these injury prone players? Absolute madness, and it's the same with Daniel Sturridge - they're quality players, but we need to steer well clear from them.

Also, just a heads up, the most goals Welbeck has scored in a prem season is 9. so how you've come to the conclusion he'll bang 20 in I have no idea - what you smoking bro, can i have some? lol.

Welbeck is a lot like Antonio in my eyes, i would not go for ANY players with major injury histories this summer. We already have Lanzini, Yarmolenko, Sanchez, Wilshere and Reid all coming back from injury, and with NO guarantee that they will stay fit next season. Same as Sturridge AVOID
On Arnie, my personal opinion is that he is simply not consistent enough. Fantastic when on his game, but only on it for 10 games a season. The rest of the games he is carried and the whole team performance can suffer with no spearhead. I would rather have a player that plays 8/ 10 consistently across a season than one who is 9/ 10 for just 10 games. This said, I would love him to get his head in the WHU game and score us 20 next year! It is MP's risk to take, and job to manage.
Just a side thought, lots saying we are losing all our strikers (assuming Chica goes), but with this link to Kostas Fortounis, could it be that Antonio is thought of as a striker after a good run at the end of the season where he often switched up top later on in the games?
Fortounis from the right, Anderson from the left and then a squad of 4 ST from Arnie, Antonio, Mitrovic, Rondon, Wesley, Gomez, Xande Silva, Marega . and any other of the 1,000 strikers we are apparently watching. Maybe even if Chica goes we still only need ONE key striker signing?

Sturrridge and Wellbeck would be great signings on pay as you play, otherwise it would not be a good deal. We already have Wiltshire who will get injured in the first game he plays. We’ve just got rid of Carroll so we DO NOT want another injury prone player on £50k plus each week.

Hi TK I don't smoke drugs or anything to do with that rubbish as I personally have seen what it does to people anyway WELBECK has scored more goals this season than LUKAKU despite playing 636 minutes less than him he's scored 5 goals in 11 games not bad and it's only the last year he's been injury hit and gI've a full match fit season I believe he would get very near or hit that target the reason I say sell ARNAUTOVIC is he's got as much interest in WEST HAM as THERESA MAY has about BREXIT who would you go for TK and by the way I'd prefer MITROVIC over WELBECK anyway. COYI.

Bbk, yes he will. With his injury record he knows he will have to take a pay as play - same as Welbeck.
