West Ham have offered David Moyes a 2 year extension to his contract that's going to be interesting

Not quite true. Negotiations over a new contract have not yet taken place. They are due to take place early in January. Rumour has it that the new contract will be unlike his current agreement in that it will contain performance clauses which will enable the club to fire him without financial loss if results drop off. Performance indicators are common in German contracts. Also, Moyes will have to agree to having no say in transfers. If he wants to stay at WHU, he’ll have to agree to these terms.

While I was furious with the lineup for the Carabao Cup and I hate it when we are camped in our own box. The games against Man Utd and Arsenal were good team efforts and felt a bit more positive. Beat Brighton on Tuesday and perhaps were the real deal.

Have been on the fence for a while about Moyes but 2023 has been a successful year for WHUFC so I think Moyes can stay. 6/7 years ago we had maybe 8/11 of a team (remember Roberto) . Now we have about 14/11. The change started with Zouma. Clear some journeymen by summer.

Buy 2 or 3 more class players and play the kids a bit more from the bench (hard for Moyes) but the team are united and with a couple more Tim purchase we build good depth. We need this now as Europe should happen more often.

Saudi money for Aguerd would be good and we need Ings’s wages off the books. I’d keep Benrahma for now but put JWP on pens. Cresswell, Fornals, Ings, Johnson and Aguerd in January and perhaps Antonio /Kehrer in the Summer.

Happy new year to you and yours ??⚒️

Kib with what u write is ok but i still don't think Moyes is who we need yes on paper he looks the real deal but if u watch WH our brand
of football has been terrible, we got results but WH are in the entertanment business and let's be frank some of our victories have been rubbish and very lucky. i'm glad to see if he gets a new contract he has no say on who is purchased yes he can recommend and perhaps this is the way to go

Before all the blinkered “Moyes fans” start towelling Desperate Dave’s feet after his walk on water, I still think we’ll have a different decent manager next season. No way is DD going to agree to the terms the poison dwarf will offer him. I think Steidten has already identified his replacement and he will be in the chair next season. We’ll see.

If those contract talks regarding performance related results and no dealings in transfers then I cannot see DD accepting those terms as he's a control freak just like SULLY so imo this is a polite way of saying thanks for your services well I hope and pray it is.⚒⚒⚒
