Le Parisien claim that PSG are very keen to move the 21-year-old forward Hugo Ekitike on this winter, and are prepared to let him leave the French capital on loan with West Ham facing competition for his signature from Crystal Palace (how on earth are PALACE competing for his signature when we are playing better, have better players, are in Europe and 7th in the league)? For me, this guy on loan is a no brainer allowing us to use whatever funds we can rasie to focus on strengthening elsewhere

I remember Botham and Gower wearing T shirts that said, “Form is temporary, class is permanent.” Or words to that effect.

Ekitike is either good enough, or he isn’t.

If he is, let’s explore the loan option and use any cash we might raise by moving several players on, to strengthen elsewhere.

If he isn’t, only the second half of the above makes sense.

An out of form Ekitete has to be of more use than a supposedly in form Ings though — especially releasing his wages. Should be all over this as a Kudus stopgap.

Seems numerous teams set to fight it out for kehrer and aguerd if they both become available. However, bear in mind aguerd off to AFCON! JOHNSON wants out so we may need a RB. Benrahma a target for Lyon so left wing may be needed. Cresswell replacement also needed and of course a strong pacey striker
