Are there any new transfer updates to report please? Anything would be much appreciated

{Ed002's Note - Steidten wants Zakaria, I assume instead of Alvarez. Makes little sense to me unless Borussia Dortmund push ahead to sign Alvarez.}

Surely Zakaria isn't seen as direct replacement for Rice considering his injury record?

I think we will definitely go for a another holding midfielder, hoping Alavarez still.

I think that's something a lot of our fans lack, me included. Doesn't help us having dithering Dave at the helm who it seems doesn't want to buy young talented players, if rumours are believed he completely sabotaged talks with Alex Scott's representative after Noble and Steidten worked hard to get the meet.

By all accounts, the meeting was between Scott, Moyes, Steidten and Noble. The last two had worked really hard to sell the West Ham concept, but Moyes say impassively throughout the meeting and showed no interest. When the young lad asked Moyes about first team opportunities, Moyes declared nothing is guaranteed. All he was looking for was a reassurance that he would get the opportunity to develop and be given a chance, given West Ham’s record with young players under Moyes. The Argyll Gargoyle refused and Scott said he wouldn’t play for the Hammers and would be better off staying where he is. Steidten and Noble were furious. Cracks at this early stage indicate a major flaw in the new recruitment model and could signal the beginning of Moeys’ dosnfall

And unfortunately this is going to be the problem. We are 1 of only 4 teams yet to make signing. I don't understand why we have Steidten working hard on players when moyes shuts deals down! Ridiculous

Bloke on hammers chat made a good point, who would have leaked the story out of Moyes, Noble, Steidten? I doubt any of them would so it doesn't quite make sense all things considered I don't think it's actually true and I hope it isn't for the clubs sake, as much as I don't think Moyes is the man to take us forward.

Hopefully this week we will start to see some serious movement, Zakaria looks the closest for now.

The rumour was that he was with his father. We'll likely never know the truth maybe the meeting never happened, the problem is that its believable Moyes would do such a thing.

If Moyes isn't going to let Steidten buy younger quality players so the club can progress then he needs to go.

Apparently we are quibbling over a £3million difference over SCOTT with BRISTOL CITY wanting £25 mill and we are only prepared to pay £22million.⚒⚒⚒
