Nuno has spoken to Kretinsky today and was honest and open in saying that he never expected so many to leave; he thought Diouf and Awb were the last, and he’s short in many positions.

That will threaten the promotion ideal. Don’t know what happened

For me personally, if Kretinsky or anyone else think that the purchases of Piroe, Engels, Veltman and Soloman will get us promoted without further additional players, best think it over again

The Championship is relentless. A small squad relying on a group of youngsters to fill the gaps is not a good starting place.

If we're playing three in midfield, then a combination of Engels and James, with Orford supporting in front of the back, works for me. That'll only leave Bowen, Soloman, and a CF up front, but both Engels and James can score.

We'll have Soucek back eventually, so maybe give Orford enough experience to where he's confident enough to be an everyday player. Although I don't see it once Soucek comes back full time; I think him and Kante will split time. Regardless, more players, young and old, are needed to get promoted in my opinion.

We can't wait around or rely on when and if players come back. What happens if Soucek has a relapse?

We have to have 2 full backs for Diouf and AWB. At least one cb to replace Tobido. 2 midfielders to replace Potts, Mougassa, Fernandes and Alvarez.

Solomon and Engels brought in so far, but we need more legs and creativity.

And then we have the front players. Summerville gone, Bowen's legs won't last, Fulkrug gone, Pablo and Taty, I'm not convinced with.
