Nelson Deossa, If WH have the money they seem to want Engels, Deossa is a different type of player.

He scored last night against Arsenal

WH fancy him strongly and their right, he would be circa £10 m, questions are, have WH got the money, would he come

Although different positions, if WH can get shot of Todibo, or maybe Bissaka finds someone to buy him at the right price, then WH might go for him?

Edson Alvarez changed squad numbers to his preferred number 4. Might not mean much, but apparently he's said he would be willing to stay. Moves from interested clubs haven't yet materialised, id imagine clubs were wanting a bargain from us.

With Potts going, it makes sense to keep him.

It certainly does, however, there's a couple of clubs in Spain, Sociedad, Betis Seville among them, who may be planning a last throw bid at the end of this month, 7/8 m, to tempt Wh.

If we had Alvarez, Todibo and Fulkrug fit and playing properly, it would be a big help.

Iron.AI, Alvarez didn't change his number. He was number 4 last season as well (article about him changing number to his Mexico shirt number at the start of the 25/26 season on the official website).

Whoever originally reported it got it wrong.

So no meaning to be read into.

Oh well, he's still here and pictured in the squad photos/recent training vids.

7/8m is pointless for a player who would likely be one of the best holding midfielders in the Championship.

Hopefully, Orford steps up this season. We might need him at this rate.

You're right, Iron.Al. Alvarez was number 19 last time he wore a West Ham shirt. I think Kurt Zouma was number 4.
