You all know the background. Kretinsky can easily raise any money needed to buy the gold shares, fact.

Staveley is in fact representing 3 different consortiums all are well known and independently worth billions, although she has done a deal, it’s a handshake.

On paper it looks like put up or shut up to our Czech shareholder. He has time on his side to do it if he wishes and become 52% stakeholder, giving complete control.

However everybody is missing an important point here. Sullivan has been given the same option, he can buy gold shares if he wishes! Further to that I understand that he is talking with various people in order to do so.

Whilst Sullivan is a minnow amongst whales, there’s nothing stopping him doing this, and then of course resume control of West Ham, and or selling the whole lot to one of Staveley consortiums.

This could tip the whole lot up? It’s not beyond the realm of possibilities.

Or he can now sit back, let things play out and demand any silly price, should someone want his shares

Joyful. It is my belief that DK does not want to be the majority shareholder, which is why he only wants to take a return on his investment.
