I had an interesting talk with members of the agency that I recieve some chat from.
They tell me that several championship teams, are in their opinion ready to start this coming weekend, and in any case, WH are certainly not in a position to to dominate the league, as betting odds suggest.



They are also suprised, by the lack of players coming in, and don’t understand what WH are doing.

I responded by saying neither do I, or the majority of WH supporters.

They need to get moving. After that showing against Rangers, we are nowhere near ready!

West Ham have made a profit of 60 m on two players, fantastic, parachute money is in £45 m. All monies in cash, yes West Ham remain in debt like the other 91 members of the Football League, but in reality the near debt now is 45 m and overall debt about 90 m.

A return to the Premier League would eradicate that, plus all expenses in a season, but unless something is done in the market we aren't going back next season.

Looking at players like the forward from Metz is madness, 4 goals in 25 matches! West Ham need Championship-proven quality, penny pinching will see us remain in this league, you only get what you pay for, excepting Pablo, I am shocked to be honest at some of the crap we are being associated with.



West Ham need to have a meeting, and decide which way they want to go. Carry on with a very mediocre squad and stay in the Championship, or pull their finger out, get in decent players and get promoted. There are two paths, we are going nowhere at present.

I'm of the same opinion as the majority, and I believe we will bring players in before the window ends.

As Joyful has put it, however, I think there are clubs a lot further along in preparation than we are, so maybe, just maybe, the thought is to get us back on an even keel this season, hold our own, get us healthy financially, and go at it hard next season.



We obviously have a plan (maybe to bring the young lads through and see who is cut out for the challenge), but one thing is for sure, we are nowhere near ready for this season as it stands.

Still, plenty of time before the window closes, but only 3 weeks until kick off!!

If WH don't get promoted this season, a completely different spectrum arises, it would be a long post, so won't go into it now, let's just say, it's not planned for at present.
