Hopefully some of these players don't try to force moves through, as they seem to be able to do these days. If that happens, we won't get the right fee anyway. Personally, I think we would be very lucky to get 70 rather than 85 mill for Fernandes and 40 for Summerville.

We have been terrible at selling players under Sullivan. Glad we're finally showing some resolve, not selling players on the cheap.

Hard to say no to Fernandes going to a Champions League club. It only takes one of those clubs to get close to the 85m, then we will see who's serious. I'd be tempted to say to all of them, if we don't get the asking price, you're staying. Kick up a fuss, refuse to play, then dock wages, stick them in the reserves.

See if they like that better than playing in the Championship where they took us. Harsh on some of them, and risky, but it could pay off. Will the likes of Summerville, Fernandes, refuse to play? Magassa/Kante, I think a season in the Championship would be good for their development.

As for Summerville, I think he will keep impressing at the World Cup. Price should keep rising.
