Looks like WH are edging closer to agree deal with Brighton for Ferguson £5 m loan fee £35 m purchase, , at the moment it's not agreed and may yet fall apart, but whatever happens I understand he's not fit to play, and has had all sorts of minor problems, at his very young age, I can fully understand the potential etc , for me bit of a gamble, on the one hand he could be sensational for. the next 6 years, on the other may be occupying Andy Carroll's old bed in the medical room, Meanwhile there's a striker ready to go for similar money, proven beyond doubt at 24, Victor Boniface, this is just me, and something I don't understand about WH transfer business, I find some things baffling, but Potters in charge this is his call, I hope he gets it right

Thought exactly the same potentially another Andy Carrol.
Boniface has had some bad injuries as well though was actually out for longer periods of time than Ferguson. I do think boniface has more to his game, ferguson younger and potter knows him, what he did at 18-19 in the prem was impressive but he's not done anything of note for a while, it does seem like he wants to come here though would boniface?

Answer is you don’t try You don’t know? All players get injuries WH have more experience than most at that one, Boniface has immense experience compared to Ferguson, unfortunately it’s not our call the pressure will be on Potter, if he gets it wrong, and he will be revered if he gets it right, that’s if Sullivan makes the deal, as it looks like he gets edgy at anything over £20m, ….Macauley can make all the suggestions he wants, but if Sullivan is going to do as he wants what’s the point in having him in the first place?

Definitely you'd of thought it would be worth at least an enquiry. The fact both clubs are now looking at a sale maybe they are wanting to cash in before they break down?
And with sullivan he could always sabotage a deal with stupid clauses.

We Been screaming out for young hungry players, i think Ferguson will prove to be a very good signing. Wouldn't surprise me if we got him and one other on loan, making any current niggle/injury unimportant compared to his potential. Leverkusen were willing to let Boniface go to replace him with Ferguson, think that also speaks volumes.

I have come to the conclusion the only reason Sullivan would employ people like the stat man is that gives him a get out clause and someone other than himself to blame for failed signings. Even taking into account the Guilherme and Fulkrug and signings the worst signing by a country mile was the signing of the last manager, somebody that everyone universally rejected yet he knew better. He has no interest in signing anyone. We will end up with some over the top mediocre injury prone player like Ings in the last few hours of the window.

No it doesn’t, they were under the impression they could get Ferguson for around 25 m euros half of Boniface Value, they don’t rate the Brighton player beyond that figure, so at that money they would take the chance, every team places a value on incomings, our value was anyway well beyond Leverkusen, , the sticker was Brighton (tony Bloom ) would prefer to have sold to a non premier side, WH look to be on a different path
