Hi
Lets hope that when the lads sell on, it is to a very wealthy Russian or Arab soccer lover. With that in mind they would do well to consider the value of Premiership v Championship status, serious damage is being done to the image / reputation of a once proud football club It is sad to reflect on my first thoughts when the lads took over, full of love for the club and that it was all about the Olympic Legacy for the Gold/Sullivan dynasty.
Perhaps a little more cash and effort should have been spent on a team worthy of premiership status,
rather than an attractive business package.
Will the money from the Boleyn be used to strengthen the business or to repay the tremendous financial investment of the owners?

Let's have a bit of perspective. It's been a shaky start to the season but everyone is speaking like relegation is right round the corner. It's a long season and there is a lot of football to be played. Let's get behind the boys and start winning some football matches. Keep the faith! whufc66

whufc66 have you watched the last two home games? if you have you will see why people are talking about relegation. If is clear to all without some wide players, another decent striker and a RB we don't stand a hope!

Whu, the reason why there is negativity from a lot of the guys is the lack of realism from the Dgs on signing players for positions that we despretly need. Every other club seems to identify a player and get them over the line, unfortunately we are unable to do this , one of these in my opinion is the lack of enthusiasm from the dgs to spend the money required to do business. I hate to say this but for me the dgs have shown their true colours in what the club means to them.
What for me is annoying is they are conning the fans by going after targets which with bids they know deep down will not be accepted, they pursue their derisory bids over days looking for opinions such as deals for loans etc, it's a waste of time , but their not stupid they know exactly what they are doing,
We need wide players and for me Moses and Antonio would have been perfect, but no , as the price being asked does not meet they valuation of the player we miss out.
Can't they see for a few mill extra than there valuation we would have 2 unbelievable signings that fit our team, it's a way forward for the club.
In this window we have not gone forward or stayed still, we have actually gone behind in player quality nearly all of the so called lower clubs.
It's a disgrace to us the fans, and not fair on SB who I so want to do well
Sullivan and Gold may be WH fans , but ultimately they are business people, they love for their business empire far out weighs the love for the club, I'm not saying we should do a Leeds or Portsmouth, but a few million albeit may be a little overpriced would have secured us at least 2 decent players

Great piece Warrington Seymour which I am sure 99% of us agree with.
Gold & Sullivan are gambling on us somehow staying up spending peanuts compared to everybody else. This just isn't fair to anyone!

On that note I see mighty Brighton are after Watford striker Vydra and leicester defender liam moore on loan. OK not ideal but vydra could do a job even as backup

On a daily basis I check BBC sport and ssn for football transfer news and nothing for us today whatsoever. At least we can throw in the towel

Like I've said before for me it's not tell amount spent it's the fact that we haven't got the right players to be 4 games into the season (more if you include the Europa leaague) without a winger is unforgivable
Add to this that everyone knew we needed a striker last Xmas and didn't et one then still haven't got one now and you seriously have to question the club's recruitment policy of course we will hear the same old crap from dgs abut how difficult it is to do business blah blah of course it is if you don't pay the correct fees
Im grateful to dgs for saving the club but that gratitude isn't going to last forever our squad isn't good enough as it is and we need new players
One more note as ironmike hs already eluded dgs can't sell the club for another 4 years at least due to the stadium deal

It is so disheartening when the only player you are linked with is a tottenham reject on a free, when you factor in our history in being able to keep our first team fit and injury free the whole thing stinks of a long hard season.Fans were expecting better this year with the sacking of big sam and the OS they thought it was an intent to move the club forward and it now seems like it is same old same old with just another lamb to the slaughter at the helm.how long before we are three or four first team picks down and SB goes into his shell and has to start worrying about not conceding rather than trying to win the game and the management come out and say "more attractive football please".Having said all that I am trying to stay positive and still beleive if we can get the injured fit and playing regulary our first eleven will give anybody a game.

Warrington Seymour they put the extra few mill in for Jarvis and Carroll we know how that turned out. Valencia payet and ogbonna also still fingers crossed but payet looks the part. Kouyate is the only real success of the big money players in my opinion. Keep the faith support the team coyi.
