All feels quite worrying to me - same old West Ham, lots of enquiries and interest but no movement. It's not the decisiveness I was expecting from Kretinsky.

Not least because there isn't a clear plan that I can see.

Lots of different profiles, from different leagues in different positions. Not sure what we are trying to build.

Appreciate outgoing players and money is the tricky bit, we've known that for months! Make a plan to deal with it.

The problem is Sullivan is still the major shareholder, Kretensky worked with Sullivan for a number of years. Maybe we were all duped and nothing has changed. Hope I'm wrong, but it feels worse the more time goes by. Some positive news from the club would be good.

On the outgoing players, look how terrible we've been for a couple of seasons. I mean, we struggled to beat QPR and Burton last year, there was never going to be a queue for most of them.

We probably have 3 players that are really sellable: Bowen, Fernandes (who's gone) and Summerville. The rest will be 3rd or 4th choices for other clubs, so they will need to go through 2 or 3 other targets before they get to our players, as our players are simply not that valuable or that attractive. The club must know who is staying and who is going by now.

Cmmv, plan for sure is to keep the basis of the team that were relegated; if they were good, why were they relegated?

Problem 1. You just cannot (in West Ham's case) buy 15/16 players and sell everyone you have in 10 weeks. Just impossible.

Problem 2. West Ham are struggling to grasp the reality of short funding and the necessity of moving on some players.

Problem 3. Will players bought in now be able to make the leap to the Premier League, if we are fortunate enough to get back?

Problem 4. Sullivan's demise and quick exit. Caught Kretinsky on the hop. Given more time, he could sort it all out, but there isn't the time.

Problem 5. Nuno can't get in the 3/4 players he needs because of the wage problems it would cause, given that the players we want rid of are still there.



Problem 6. Nuno knows it's likely that he's going to have to do the best he can over a 46-game, two-games-a-week season. There's no time to train or relax, just constant games. Have we the squad for that? In my opinion, no, not without a few additions.

The bookmakers make West Ham the clear favourites to win this division. I don't share their view. I would be happy to see West Ham return to the Premier League under any guise.

In our present set-up we won't score enough goals to win the league. We have no creativity in the middle, and we have no recognised centre-back pairing.
