If we go down I’m not sure Nuno will stay, he might decide himself that he wants out. If he does, then there’s a manager out there waiting who has the experience in the Championship and has got a team promoted: Scott Parker. He’s a former player and, like I said, he took Burnley up. ?

He will have a squad of Championship players already at his disposal too if they don't sell anyone.

There was a huge mistake keeping Potter last summer. I hope they don't keep Nuno and make the same mistake again. That brand of terrible, boring, defensive football would be suicide in the Championship, even more so than it was in the prem.

I don't really see where we go from here. Sullivan won't sell, as he will lose too much money. There will be no money for transfers, and we've got players on massive wages that don't want to leave. I can see a good few years in the Championship, then back to being a youo club.

A world-class team in a world-class stadium, you've got to laugh.

I'm not sure he would stay. I feel the main reason for our demise is the chairman at the top, and I think, while he is still there, no matter who the manager is, we are doomed to failure.
I have stood up for Nuno for most of his time here, and I am not going to completely contradict myself, but he does have to shoulder a lot of the responsibility. I personally just object to it being said that our current position was all his fault, and to ignoring some of the decent stuff he did. I think he at least got us a functional midfield and a pretty good defence.
Without dissecting individual games where mistakes were made, it was that period of 6 easily winnable games around Christmas where we took 1 point from 18, points-wise, what has doomed us.

If he decides to go, or is axed, so be it; it isn't totally undeserved. Many have mentioned the impact of Paco on the team, and it definitely matches our upturn in form. And that does have relevance, so maybe give him a shot at management in England.
Stevie, I loved Scott Parker as a player, and maybe he would be a decent manager for the Championship. The problem comes if we were to get promotion, as he has been a disaster with Burnley and Fulham, so I wouldn't want him managing us if he got us promoted, and it's difficult to sack someone when they have done that.
