Speaking of our midfield, Potter is clearly targeting young, energetic midfielders who are comfortable with the ball to revamp the midfield.

Question is, where do Soucek, Alvarez and Rodriguez fit into these plans?

I have said many a time in my opinion Alvarez needs to stay he is head and shoulders above the other 2 although Souchek does give his all and scores many a goal.

Alvarez is our best midfielder by a mile and is doing 2 peoples work when soucek and JWP are with him in midfield he needs to be told no crazy cameos up the pitch and just sit and protect the backline as he's not got the pace to get back.COYI

And that's why he’s so frustrating, he has got the ability but can't control his temper and play to orders. Imo we’d be better selling him as at least he’s sellable (unlike JWP) and cashing in
