Further to my previous re any hope for Sturridge, I see he is listed on the bench for the match at Liverpool, so unless he's not there it seems not tonight!

Southampton., Watford, both sign strikers they need but we needed a striker but not getting one now we have to pray Carroll, sakho, and ayew stay fit which isn't great hope and then rely on calleri, I just feel we should of tried to get a out and out goalscorer just hope we don't regret it and carry on with this good form

I agree with you ant, although being optimistic is great, who could we have actually got? A lot of guys I see post on here wanting out and out proven premier league goalscorers and I am sure the board and bilic would like the same - surely very difficult to find in January which historically isn't the best window for getting the players we need.

Personally I think we have enough firepower to go ok for the remainder of the season and it is very unlikely that every single one of our strikers will be injured at the same time.

Lastly, look on the bright side, snodgrass and fonte coming in. I don't think any of us saw these two coming. forget payet at least these two of some heart about them and will give it their all for us. I say look on the bright side it hasn't been that bad a window

I am disappointed we didn't sign a right back in this window. We've known that it is a position lacking sufficient quality since the summer.

I am not at all disappointed about Scott Hogan. Whilst I'd like to see him do well at Aston Villa, I think it would have been a lot of money to spend on a high risk injury prone striker. With regards to the lack of striker signings this window, only time will tell if that was a mistake.

I am looking forward to the summer though, because the money we didn't spend in this window surely increases our budget for the summer, so I am expecting some decent, exciting signings

I think we do have enough to get us to end of season I'm just a little worried incase they get injured hopefully Carroll can stay fit and keep doing what he is doing and get goals, sakho I hope can come back and be missing striker we need

Fonte a top buy, Snodgrass I have my doubts a lot of money in my opinion if we were in the bottom three I guarantee we'd have signed HOGAN glad we didn't I really think we have better strikers already, so if buying players that ain't going to improve your squad then don't just buy because we the fans or anybody else calls for it apart from R/ B position not being covered I think we've done ok we just have to sort it out for the beginning of next season and not be light in these areas.

There is a few free agents who could help us till end of season caceres, essein and meireles all of these I fell would be good addition to our side and two of them have great prem experience.

Yeah it's a shame about the rb situation, bryam seems to be getting injured quite regularly. Would love us to spend a decent sum of money and get a good rb, issue is I can't think of many good ones which aren't already signed up to big clubs. Personally I quite like that Cedric fella from Southampton but I doubt he'll be leaving.

Having said that I would like to see Bryam have a good 10 games under his belt, I think we'll all get a better idea of how good the young lad is!
